I think it's funny how many people are drawn to the same old or unusual names. They won't be so unusual shortly.

But I'm also drawn to names of favorite characters. LM Montgomery has a book called Kilmeny of the orchard and I've always thought it was a beautiful and unusual name. Only problem is that it doesn't shorten easily. I wonder if my child would regret being named Marilla for the nickname Rilla? (More LM Montgomery.) As a Sam/Samantha I've always been very conscious of nicknames because I used to hate having a boy's nickname. I love the nickname Maisie, which is my niece's name (for Margaret).Samanthahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02803860615403875982noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28060897.post-52835249562430270372011-12-05T16:35:28.993-05:002011-12-05T16:35:28.993-05:00I really like baby names that AREN'T names per...I really like baby names that AREN'T names per se...like Hudson, Avalon and Jericho.FaithWalkernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28060897.post-84161634190678279552011-12-05T05:28:29.232-05:002011-12-05T05:28:29.232-05:00I Think Name is very important part of everyone’s ...I Think Name is very important part of everyone’s life.
