Northern Ireland is, although many Northern Irish would probably not consider themselves British in the same way that may Scots do not consider themselves British either. Even though Scotland is part of GB, I would always identify myself as 'Scottish' rather than British. And his Liverpool was a little off (just think Beatles!) What was interesting though was that the Dorset and Somerset accent sounded EXACTLY like Hagrid from Harry Potter! I'm from Toronto and I did an excha...Love this! I'm from Toronto and I did an exchange to Edinburgh, Scotland in 2010 and had several British kids in my class. It was really interesting to hear and learn about the different dialects in the English accent (Birmingham, Newcastle and Manchester.) But of course I'm still such a sucker for a proper Dublin accent, like Colin Farrell and Glen Hansard.
