What a sad, exciting, romantic, amazing story. It is hands down, my favorite book of all time, and that's saying something as I have many. I got the books at the same time not realizing they were married, and I saw some definite similarities in their style (even though they're very different as well). I wish I'd read The History of Love before Foer's book, as everything pales in comparison to Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close :)<br /><br />Also, check out Tree of Codes by Foer. It's a really artsy book where he cuts out words from another book to make his own story with the words left on the page. And the original book?
