I wore them in Morocco in the 70s. (Seriously. Okay, a version of. :)xo
Love these! I am definitely into the boho look right now. Just posted some summer sandals on the blog myself!x Lilyhttp://whilemyboyfriendsaway.blogspot.com/
These are BEAUTIFUL! Do you own any Madewell flats already? I have one pair and they are the most uncomfortable flats I have ever worn. So sad!
These are beautiful! love the nude color -ash
I've been wearing pointy nude flats for a couple years and they seriously go with everything. I have size 8 feet so they give me an extra inch or two in length that I probably don't need but guess how much I care:)? heheDakota
I would wear them, but not for that price! I can't justify spending over $25 on a pair of shoes... at least not until I start making more money!!! Ross and Marshall's are my best friends right now.
Love the ring's simplicity.
These are a spin off of traditional shoes from India and Pakistan. The real deal are very comfortable (I've worn a few pairs through), all leather, I always get compliments, and MUCH cheaper! Just google "indian embroidered ballet flats" like here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Indian-Handmade-shoes-flat-sandale-Juti-Footwear-Embroidery-Womens-US-Size-4-5-/191166616011?pt=US_Women_s_Shoes&hash=item2c826b11cb
Pretty in concept, but BEWARE. Would NOT buy them because they are made in China.I only buy shoes made in Italy or Spain - the quality is incomparable - comfort, durability, fine design and materials.
They seem very mature...
Meh, I just feel like it's cultural appropriation. Those shoes are extremely inexpensive and ubiquitous in any Indian market (probably the same in Morocco), but they're copied and marked up to $188 with no advantage to the artisans whose traditions those are taken directly from.
Just bought a pair that looks a lot like these...from a street vendor in Morocco! For the first time in my life I'm ahead of a trend.
I'd wear those in half an heartbeat!
leigh anne, oh no, that's a bummer! i actually wear their knot flats all the time (right now, in fact:) and they're super comfy. i wear them walking all over nyc. i wonder if they're hit or miss? i ordered these shoes, so i'll let you know how they are!
giulia, that is awesome!
Yes, a 100% yes! I think these would quite lovely with jeans and a simple top - they're so pretty.Beccy ~ Bluebell & Bumpkin
So pretty! :D
these are beautiful! i love the shape, and i'm not sure i've ever seen embroidery like that before on a shoe - love it.
I have a custom made, beaded pair that I ordered from Pakistan and wore for my wedding 11 years ago. Love them!
Stunning detailing!Two Hearts One Roof
They're lovely and I'd definitely wear them...if they were about a tenth of the price :)
If they offered just one half size bigger yes... Tear
Haha! I love that you thought of me when you saw these shoes!!Right, now I'm off to go check them out. I was just saying I needed a pair of flats... ;) xx
I was really pleased with these wedge sandals. Not only are they very feminine and well made, but they are light weight. I think I could walk in these for hours.solo ad traffic
