Halloween costumes

I asked Toby what he wanted to be for Halloween, and, without looking up, he very nonchalantly and matter-of-factly said, "A giwaffe." So there you go. Although we'll be ordering a cheaper costume on amazon, this Pottery Barn costume killed me. :)

What will your kiddos be for Halloween? How about you?

P.S. Toby as a baseball player, and a hilarious adult costume.

How sweet! My daughter is 5 months and going to be Rosie the Riveter. We made the "We can do it!" Sign with a few letters backwards for cute effect (although women's rights are no laughing matter!). :) Easy and affordable: thrifted denim jacket, jeans, red bandana + sign = Voila!

Do you plan on dressing up Anton? Trying to think of something perfect to match and got nothing so far, but I bet your other lovely readers will have great suggestions.

My 4 year old wants to be an Angry Bird. My 3 year old a princess. My littlest one will be Mommy's choice.

I think that the giraffe costume is adorable.

Last year my little cousin was a "ballerina giraffe" which meant wearing a similar costume with the addition of a pink sparkly tutu! It was her idea to combine the two!

I wanted to make the toddler chicken costume from Martha Stewarts website but Target has a dog costume for $15 that looks just like our English bulldog. I couldn't pass it up. AND now I don't have to try to sew which would probably end in me glue feathers to a onesie the day before trick or treat :)

Oh my SO CUTE. One of my friends dressed her baby boy up as an ice cream sundae (complete with a "cherry on top" hat) and carried him around in a big mixing bowl. So funny! This is adorable! :)

Cute!!!

My 22mo young requested to be a dinosaur. So while visiting my mom (for the first time In a year! :)) she helped sew his costume. My husband will be a dinosaur hunte/enthusiast and I'm going to be a cage.

Last year baby was a money bag and we were bank robbers :)

I've been a giraffe for Halloween for the past 2 years! I like to think my small stature makes if clever, but I'm sure it's nowhere near as adorable as Toby will be.

I made the costume out of a giant t-shirt that I painted spots on and sewed into a sleeveless shift dress. I wore a long sleeve brown shirt and brown leggings with boots under it so it was adorable, comfortable, and warm. I used my hair to make the "mohawk" giraffes have, with extra fabric squares to make the ears and curled pipe cleaners for the knobbins on top. It was pretty easy and always gets tons of compliments if someone is interested in making their own :)

We've bought my toddler a Ladybug costume on Amazon. It arrived the other day and it's SO cheaply made, but pretty much perfect for a couple of wears over Halloween, and eventual transition into a dress-up wardrobe. :)

My two year old insisted on being Cinderella but we'll have her be a "scary witch" for trick or treating because the costume is warmer haha! Speaking of kids and Halloween, have you seen this funny bag on etsy? https://www.etsy.com/listing/164585619/funny-halloween-child-trick-or-treat-bag?ref=shop_home_feat

That costume is amaze-balls. Way too much cuteness in one outfit. I wish my boys still wanted to be cute things like this, once they were football players and monkeys, now they want to be zombies and vampires, *sigh. Maybe I've still got a chance for a giraffe in my daughter. Appreciate the sweet boy costume ideas while you can!

Aww that "giwaffe" is too cute!!

Our little guy will be a monkey for Halloween! And he just started army crawling so it'll be super cute to see his fuzzy, padded, with-tail self wriggling around the living room hehe :)

My little guy will be 21 mos. and is going as a monkey - although our nanny just told us he is invited to a party earlier in the day, so now we may get him another costume in case the monkey one is too warm!

I REALLY wanted to dress up at Miss Clavel and have my eldest (red-headed) daughter be Madeline and my smaller daughter be another one of the twelve little girls. I admit, I saw it on Pinterest. I am too lazy to do any work with costumes though. So the older one will be a mermaid this year (she's been a dragon the past few) and the younger one will be a giraffe. So hilariously cute. Old Navy has such good ones.

My 3-year-old son decided he wanted to be a koala for Halloween. Adorable, but not an easy costume to come by. Still, I figure this is my last year before superheroes and monsters, so I'm glad he chose something cute and cuddly.

Oh my goodness that picture! We don't do Halloween quite the same in New Zealand as you do in the states, but if we did, I would love to see a few of these little guys getting around.

My daughter (who is Toby's age) is dinosaur crazy, and has decided she wants to go as "dinosaur bones." The solution? We found the most adorable dinosaur hat and skeleton pajamas so she can go as (wait for it...) an exhibit from the American Museum of Natural History! (complete with tag displaying the dinosaur's scientific name, of course).

That is very cool, thanks for sharing this! I am such a big fan of Halloween that even at my age I still like to dress up and go to one of my friend's annual Halloween party. I just ordered some colored contacts since I plan on being Darth Maul this year and I want to replicate his vicious looking eyes from the movie.

Nice costume wore by the baby. Looks awesome. Halloween festival is widely celebrated by different people especially in America. There are many Halloween costumes stores in Chicago that provide such costumes easily.
Thanks for the Post.
