Opaque tights this morning... with exactly that logic. :)

This is hilarious! I just put on black leggings and enjoyed voting "no" to this morning's shaving dilemma! Now if only I has the courage to cut my hair short and make life even simpler.

That's a so true good one laugh
Wear pedal pushers and only shave below the knee

thekittchen said...

HAHAHAHA! I had that exact thought this morning! I just decided to wear jeans. It's cold in Chicago anyway.

Haha, exactly that! Thank god Paris decided to skip over pretty fall weather into cold, rainy almost-winter weather... makes the dilemma easier to solve ;)

This reminds me of my Catholic High School days...skirts + knee-highs = only shaving the knees.

I'm laughing as well, but I'd never call that a dilemma. It's not even a question for me!

Erica Herold said...

I have already had this internal debate twice in the last week... tights win. Big pregnant belly makes it far too easy to skip the shaving. :)

Cathi said...

I've had that conversation with myself countless times! Haha....

ahahahahahahahahahahahahah TRUE!!!! Let us welcome fall with a pair of unshaved legs and a good pair of opac panties

Natalie J said...

This made me laugh!! I wish I didn't bother with shaving in the fall/winter, but I can't stand how it feels on my legs. ha

I literally had this conversation with myself this morning. I opted for shaving my legs, and now I'm cold!!

i had this very same dilemma this morning. but, also, no one ever talks about when you shave your legs and then it's so cold out that you have to put tights on anyway. why?! it's like putting on shoes to quickly and messing up your pedicure, is all i'm saying.

Elizabeth Jessica Freeman said...

Hah, had this very internal dilemma this morning. Opted for the tights! ;)

What a true story. I'm guilty for going out with stubbly legs. Usually only when I have a tan though because it makes it a bit less noticeable. Or at least that is what I tell myself.

I literally replayed this scenario this morning. My (brand new!) tights had a run in them, but I had already showered so I ended up wearing pants. But I welcome fall and the opaque tights that hide my leg stubble!

Sorry, husband.

This is so true. I live in San Francisco, so I pretty much collect boots. That's usually my answer to this question. Should I shave my legs? Nah, I'll just wear tall boots, then only a couple inches are showing and with cute boots no one will even notice the legs. Works like a charm.

Michelle Panting said...

Haha, so true. Although in summer I definitely do the, "Wait, should I have shaved my legs for this outfit? Meh, whatever."

One of my favorites from Gemma Correll's portfolio. I never read graphic novels much or sought out female comics artists until you started posting about them, and then I went to Brussels and discovered a budding (for me) world of them!

I like Lucie Bryon's stuff (she goes by Luchie on the internetz); her "Introversion" comic went viral thanks in part to Social Introverts and Susan Cain, and she recently came out with a food memory–related comic as well (à la Lucy Knisley's book Relish). You may like it too. http://heyluchie.tumblr.com/

OMG THIS MORNING AHAHAHHA I gave in and wore tights, too lazy lol

One time I put my legs in my husband's lap while watching TV on the couch. He stroked my leg and then yelped from the stubble. I defended myself and said, "I shaved today!" and he responded, "With what? A SPOON?"

Lindsay said...

I laughed at this as i felt my legs...
