Have a great weekend.

What are you up to this weekend? We are meeting friends tomorrow evening by the water for rose and kettle chips (one of life's great food combinations). And speaking of food, Anton is chunking up like crazy! Check this out, haha. Hope you have a good one, and if you're in a blog-reading mood, here are some fun posts from around the web...

A trick for better lemonade.

These parenting fails made me laugh.

What a chic black dress.

Potato salad.

How to nap like a champ.

Haha, this rings true.

Models snap some selfies.

What's up with the "I feel like" verbal tic? (I'm guilty.)

An airline offers flying nannies.

These candles look wonderful.

A dad's fantastic essay.

ha! that pinterest/someecards is perfect! i was just telling my oldest friend that i feel like were in our late 20s, even though we're 35. but when i think about it, my late 20s self would think my 35 year-old self who loves nights in with netflix, my toddler and hubby was a snore. ah well, it happens right?

My mother's friend used to be a nanny on Lufthansa flights in the 1970's...not a new concept. But certainly a brilliant one! If only all flights had them!

I've noticed the "I feel like" thing too! The first time I heard a friend say it a few years ago I remember thinking, "Oh brother she's about to get emotional about something!" But now I catch myself saying it all the time too, and I have no idea why.

Also, the link to your friend's blog post on "NYC Taught Me" was too cute!

Thanks for asking about my weekend, well nothing special, just basically going to catch up with my readings, and do my assignments, although school just started this week. Oh boy.

Enjoy your kettlecorns! <3

Anton is so adorable! I just want to pinch his cheeks <333

These weekend roundups have always been my favorite part of your blog. Thanks for always sharing these fun links from around the web. A little disappointed there was no "song for your weekend" link. Any chance you'll bring that back next week?

You've got me thinking about taking a nap right now. Haha. Wish it wasn't so frowned upon in many work places still. Paul Newman swoon!

Could it be that many have added "I feel like..." to indicate that they are venting as opposed to wanting something fixed? That's how my husband knows when to sympathize/empathize with me and when to start formulating a plan of action to try to help.

Loved the article about the nap. When I worked for my thesis, I used to take multiple naps a day to keep concentration up enough to put in a full day's work. Worked like a dream.
Now working in an office, so napping isn't possible. Still, I work saturday mornings for my own business and always have a scheduled nap around midday :)

Great article on napping. Every mother would like to nap at least from time to time, if possible.
And great dad's story, too.
