Have a great weekend.

How has your week been? We've been having the best time in Woodstock this week; we never want to leave! The little dudes are so happy in the country, and it has been awesome to have my mom with us. And it's the first time I've unplugged in like 7 years! Have a good weekend, and here are a few fun links from around the web...

Would you hire a matchmaker?

50 rules of vacation.

How to keep guacamole green.

Chic jacket for the fall.

Made me laugh. (The comments are dead on!)

Painting an office chair? Jenny does it again.

Another cute pair of short boots.

Our founding fathers were basically teenagers.

This amazing singer reminded me of this amazing actress.

Cute popsicles.

What gorgeous business cards.

The power of silence.

Woodstock NY or Woodstock VT (I'm partial to VT, personally). I'll have to try the guacamole trick. I've never heard that one before, but water does make perfect sense!

If anyone would like to check out my own weekend roundup, I'd love for you to stop by my blog:

I had the loveliest thought about you just now and had to share. It's been one of those days when all 4 kids woke up on the wrong side of the bed and everyone has been a little sideways all day and everyone is kind of ready to go back to school but we have a lot to do to get ready for back to school but I had a few free minutes and the thought popped into my head that I could check cup of jo and she would have a roundup for me - like a little present - with fun things to look at. Thanks so much for my little break today - it just made all the difference.

The video of the singer was so great! And I have to say as a Canadian...Amy Walker's Toronto accent was pretty off, we sound more like the Seattle accent she did!
Great links, I need to try that guacamole trick. Love the photos of your trip :)

We spent a week in Woodstock in July. If you have the luxury of a date night, go to Cucina or Bear Cafe. Enjoy your family time!

Joanna, I'd been wondering if this had been the first time you hadn't already lined up posts or guest bloggers during your absence! :) Good for you for unplugging; I hope you come back thoroughly R&Red. And how fun to spend time with your mom and your boys in the country.

Maybe this is a dumb question, but if you were unplugged all week how did you post some much on Pinterest? Do you have other people helping you pin?

Thanks for the recommendations. I only recently found about your blog (through Cupcakes and Cashmere) and you have a new follower. I have 2 little boys also, so I can relate to you.

The boots are great, and the rules of vacation are very nice also.
