Have a great weekend.

What are you up to this weekend? My mom is coming tomorrow!!! She'll be staying for three weeks and we are ecstatic. Little Anton doesn't know the cuddles he is in for! Hope you have a wonderful weekend, and here are a few posts from around the web...

Woody Allen makes a good point about showers.

A couple leaves their jobs to build a glass house in the woods.

I spotted the Sartorialist! And here's his final photo. :)

What to do when you've made someone angry.

Banned for life. (I love Jenny.)

Shiny shoes.

Narrowest houses in the world.

How to grow out your bangs.

I recently got this shirt and it's really pretty in person, if you're looking for a go-to fall shirt.

The art of conversation.

Made me laugh.

Have you seen this beautiful new kitchen shop?

This cookbook looks 20 kinds of awesome.

A new bakery in NYC with rice krispie treats!

Hope Anton has a lovely first visit with his grandmother. I will never forget the first time my mother first met my Atticus, it was just the sweetest moment. She must have been in the door to our apartment for about 2.5 seconds before he was snuggled up in her arms.

I live on the same street as the first narrow house featured in that article! I've never stopped to take a photo, though. Maybe I should this weekend. :)

I look forward to these posts every Friday!

That house!!! I would love to see it in person... so romantic, such an inspiration!

And the article on what to do when you've made someone angry is such good advice. Made me think about the next time I am (inevitably) late. Good ones!

That bangs tutorial is awesome, especially since I'm growing my hair out right now. I also love that plaid shirt.

Ohh that plaid shirt is cute. I always have to find a go-to plaid shirt each fall, so I guess I should start looking now! Thank you for sharing!

Ok, the rice krispies look ah-mazing! And I would LOVE to own any of these narrow houses. Reminds me of a home I stayed in years back as an exchange student in Germany!! All homes are built up vs. out in good ole' Deutschland.

Cheers!

I love Fridays and the start... of resting (if you had a hard week), sleeping, trying out a new recipe for family or friends to come over. Yeah, I love what Friday means.

Have a great weekend!:)

I love your Friday posts! Fun and informative, always. but I have to wonder, am I the only one left that is still mildly skeeved-out by woody? Sure, his artistic talents rank among the best. And sure, his quirks make him unique (yay unique!). And, yes, it was long ago, but some lines (even if soul mates) just shouldn't be crossed. Can you imagine the pain?

really loved all of the Woody interview, particulaly the shower comment as you say. It makes a bit sad about the food as food is such a joy- but he does seem to do pretty well for his age so perhaps there's something to what he says
