Summer's here!

After a never-ending winter, New York has finally enjoyed a stretch of balmy weather. Aren't you excited for summer? We went to Washington Square Park the other day and waded in the fountain. The water was sparkling clean (officially) and Toby was in heaven splashing around.
And to top it off, we saw a rainbow:)

Hope you're having a good day. Stay dry in all this rain!

P.S. The full Cup of Jo Guide to NYC.

Oh my goodness, the rolled up sweatpants are so freaking ADORABLE! I'm looking forward to warmer days ahead as well, though here in Ohio it's like 50 degrees today. Oh well, guess I can't pack up ALL the sweaters this year!

Wonderful weather! We expect also the sun in Spain after a looooong winter, so I hope we can enjoy outside too with the kids.

I love Toby! My favorite posts are yours about family and Toby! I have a 2 year old boy and am expecting my 2nd as well. I just know my son and Toby would be the best of friends! Adorable!

Toby is so cute! I loved playing in fountains (still do, actually).

After the last two weeks were pretty hot and humid, it doesn't feel much like summer right now here in Iowa. I don't actually mind the cooler temps at the moment though, my students are taking finals this week and with no air conditioning in our old building it can get pretty miserable if it's hot outside.

Enjoy your summer, and hopefully it isn't too hot in your last months of pregnancy!

How fun!!! I haven't been to NYC since I lived there about 10 years ago, and I must admit, it made me cringe to see Toby in the fountain! it is hard for me to imagine how clean Washington Sq. Park must be now, even though I keep hearing that. Amazing!

I couldn't agree more! Thankfully we don't have that problem anymore. After living in Wisconsin for 25 years my husband and I finally made the move to South Carolina. We decided to give our 2 year old son something we never had: lots of Vitamin D outdoors :)

Ha. Glad you linked to that story about the water in the fountain being clean! I cringed a little when I saw the photo of you two in it. They must've put that filtration system in when they moved the fountain (a whole inch or something, right?! LOL) because I don't remember the water looking that clean before!
