Have a relaxing weekend.

What are your plans for this weekend? We're having the best time in San Francisco. We've eaten our weight in fish tacos and are heading to the zoo today! I'm excited to share photos next week. Hope you have a good one, and here are a few fun links from around the web...

What historical figures might look like today. (Shakespeare is a hipster.)

Travel fantasy: Treebones.

Dancing on a treadmill made me laugh.

Mermaid nail polish.

10 best kindergarten buildings.

Where to go for pizza cravings.

Typography cake.

The scientific 7-minute workout.

Geometric party installation.

This cookbook looks dangerous!

Love this iPhone case.

Jim can (fake) sing.

Thumbs up for Saturday.

A beautiful New York art exhibit of deer beds. (I love them.)

And Happy Mother's Day! xoxo

That tree-house resort looks amazing!

I hope it's okay if I suggest one more...my husband's ebook, Henry by Christopher Hooks, is a free download on Amazon through this weekend. (The softcover copies are currently on their way!!) I'm so excited and proud of him, and wanted to share it for anyone looking for a new book to read! It's an emotional and funny book surrounding the day to day happenings of an 80-year old man named Henry and his cat Charleton.

Hope you're loving San Francisco!!

Ooh I'm excited to see your San Francisco pictures! I'm going there this summer for my aunt's wedding- it's such a beautiful city. An English friend once said it's the most European American city she's been to.

I'll be spending most of my weekend studying for final exams, but tonight a few friends and I are going to have a drink on the gorgeous patio of a new restaurant in our neighborhood. I'm also planning to buy some fresh flowers to brighten up my desk (and make studying less miserable).

If you are in SF and you have pizza cravings, go to Patxi's Pizza. And don't leave without eating at either Dosa on Fillmore or Dosa on Valencia.

I went to Treebones on my honeymoon, and it is every bit as magical as it appears. outdoor sushi bar, hot tub, beautiful yurts warmed by fireplaces....and the view! Right on the beautiful ocean. So amazing. I recommend this spot to everyone. Ah...now I want to go back.

Haha, I was about to type the same thing. Not to be a Debbie Downer, but they are THE WORST. My new iPhone vibrated its way off the nightstand onto carpet the first night I owned it--and the stupid Kate Spade case broke. On carpet! From about 2 feet up. Worst cases ever.
