Mother's Day gift idea

Have you guys heard of brag books? They're accordion-style books featuring eight photos, which you can carry in your handbag. They would make a lovely gift for Mother's Day, don't you think? We made them for Toby's grandmothers, and you could also make copies for beloved babysitters and teachers. They take about five minutes to create, and they're so sweet and heartfelt.
What do you think? See Pinhole Press's complete Mother's Day Gift Guide for more ideas, and get 25% off all photo books with the code BOOKLOVE, good through April 16th.

P.S. A Toby notepad:)

A very thoughtful gift. The paper looks nice and thick, too. Thanks for the great idea
Also, i have to ask - - in the top photo, is that by chance a corner of the pretty Swedish cookbook I've been seeing lately (Fäviken)? I know it would be a beautiful cookbook to look at, but wonder whether you've tried any of the recipes!

What a great idea! We're having group pictures done of all 9 great-grandchildren as a gift for my grandmother -- this would be a perfect way to present them!

P.S. Does Toby play ukulele?! He sure looks cute trying. He should meet my little sister -- she's a little old for him, but check out the mad ukulele skills :-) http://www.fivetdsisters.blogspot.com/2013/01/chiquitita.html

Great photos! About two years ago I made one of these for the guy who's now my boyfriend. He loved it.

Placing my order right this minute! Thanks for the code!

It is cute for a family member but why in the name of all things holy would a teacher want a book of photos of one of their students? That is ridiculous.
I definitely like the idea for a grandmother who is fond of displaying photos though.

A bit of shameless self-promotion; this is super-easy to DIY, too: http://www.designsponge.com/2013/03/bookbinding-101-accordion-book.html.

Gorgeous but what a shame they don't post to Australia. Only when I got to the check out did I find this out. Ships to the Isle of Man but not Australia? Bit odd.

Agreed. My mom is a teacher and all the gifts she gets that include pictures of her students generally get thrown out or given away unless there's a way to remove the picture. But it is a cute idea for a family member

Ahh, this is so cute. I would so do this for the grandmas, along with a little sweet treat. Way better when moms can tell you put some thought into their present, something they haven't seen before like these chocolate apricots: http://www.brfarms.com/chocolate-covered-apricots-dry-apricots/?sort=priceasc

Special occasion sweets plus crafted nostalgia? Yes please!

A very charming gift idea for moms, great share! Moms love to spend some time browsing old pictures and other memorabilia. They do enjoy the stroll down memory lane; such kind of nostalgic gift will surely be appreciated. For some practical yet thoughtful gift ideas: http://www.just5.com/blog_new_content.php?id=15
