Have a lovely weekend.

What are you up to this weekend? We're meeting friends for a brunch picnic—we're bringing grilled cheese sandwiches and strawberries—and then having a low-key Easter egg hunt. Last year, Toby found it all to be a bummer, but hopefully he'll get into it this year! Have a great weekend, and if you're in a blog-reading mood, here are a few fun posts from around the web...

How to make a pretty iPhone case.

Cute New Yorkers on the subway.

Horizon rainbow in Paris.

15 Swedish words we should incorporate into English.

Mom hasn't ordered her favorite pizza topping in over a decade.

Spinach and artichoke melts.

Ease brain fatigue with a walk in the park. (True for babies, too.)

Another way to sloooooow down.

What a brilliant book idea.

Children should be allowed to get bored.

Subway easter eggs.

Julie Weiss ran 52 marathons in 52 weeks to raise money for pancreatic cancer research. High five.

Children should be allowed to get bored... I agree.
And the book idea sounds brilliant indeed.

Aww... The poor mommy who hasn't ordered a pizza to her liking in years. I guess you make sacrifices for those you love!

Those Swedish words were so funny! The language is always changing and adopting new words. Those were new ones for me as well!

Big Questions from Little People seems like such a great book! I work as a teaching assistant for first graders so I might actually get this book!!

"The Onion" is a satirical news network. That isn't a real story! Many people (and even countries!) have been tricked by it- just google the onion & china to find out more:)

He's so little still he will "get it" when he's ready. Sounds like a lovely picnic. We'll go to our favorite mountain top spot to watch the sunrise, hunt for eggs, take a nap and have a big Sunday/Easter dinner. Oh yes, to children getting bored, that is when the imagination soars and going to check out the iPhone case.

An intriguing discussion is definitely worth comment. There's no doubt that that you ought to write more about this topic, it may not be a taboo matter but usually people don't speak about these subjects. To the next! Many thanks!! http://discountsextoysforsale.com

Joanna - the last link you posted reminded me of our friend Kelcey Harris who ran 30 miles a day for 4 months straight to raise awareness of and money for lung cancer. Did you hear about this? So inspiring! http://www.katiecouric.com/features/youre-running-across-the-country-are-you-crazy/

I love these posts, it's such a nice tour around the interesting things on the web. The subway pictures were great, as were the subway eggs. I LOVE the puzzle table. I think it would be a great gift for my dad who I have lots of memories doing puzzles with. It is such a nice relaxing way to spend time together, I will surely do it with my kids once they are old enough not to want to eat the pieces.
