Have a great weekend.

What are you up to this weekend? New York has been snowy and grey this week. (This song is on my mind.) But the good news is that daylight savings is this Sunday, March 10th. We can make it! Also, thanks for being so sweet about the new baby. It’s such a pleasure to share everything with you. Hope you have a great weekend, and here are a few fun posts from around the web...

  33. I'm a firm believer in alone together time. My boyfriend and I have been living together for the past 2 1/2 years and he works from home (musician/artist), meaning that he's there A LOT of the time when I am. Finding ways to get alone time has been so crucial to getting the time we each need to decompress and find our own space. I loved the BCC article and promptly forwarded on to him. Thanks so much for sharing.

  36. What a great idea! Surrounding a window with bookshelves. Since they are so simple, it looks so lovely and refreshing. I just uploaded some living room photos on my blog this last week, but I may have to consider the idea of the bookshelf like that one elsewhere in my home. Love it!

    Take care,

  42. The Pippa Middleton book has been so mocked over here in the UK. Last week she became the face of an upmarket supermarket and it started all over again... The book is rather pretty, but I'm not sure about the DIYs and advice... especially with Pinterest around.

  52. This weekend will be spent cleaning house and getting the chicken coop ready so that I can get the smelly chicks out of my kitchen one day. LOL. In the process of becoming more self sufficient in the city and it is fun and exhausting with 3 kids under the age of 5. Thankfully blogging about it along the way is helping me stay on track and be true to my values.

  55. Hi!

I just have to say: I am about to sell my appartement in Bergen, Norway. Before moving out, I'll be renting out my bedroom - and I recommend you or anyone to come, if only for a short nordic break. The weather is beautiful, people are smiling in the streets, and the coffees at the two cafes (pretty hip à la culture norvégienne) in the neighbourhood tastes better than ever.

Getting nostalgic as im leaving, so really, if you have the possibility to come, do it now!

(those were my thoughts this weekend. just need to try to share the norwegian beauty somewhere!)
