Have a great weekend.

What are you up to this weekend? Thanks for a really fun travel week! I loved all your thoughts and comments. This weekend, Alex's best friend is visiting from Rome, so we'll be catching up (crazily enough, I barely know him!), and we're also going to take Toby to the Dumbo carousel. Hope you have a great weekend, and here are a few fun links from around the web...

Jennifer Lawrence cracks me up.

Who else is tired of winter?

Celebrities, ranked from most to least charming.

Homemade Girl Scout cookies.

A documentary about The Shining...are you brave enough?

How to plan a vacation that you'll actually enjoy.

Would you want to go to Mars with your partner? (This claustrophobe politely declines.)

Bedroom with a black wall.

Mom dancing! I love Michelle Obama.

Deciding between these and these sunglasses...advice?

A travel Ergo that folds into a pouch.

Cliff diving.

Models and their mothers.

What 200 calories looks like.

Plus, three more travel posts:
* Plane picnics.
* What English sounds like to foreigners.
* United States pillows.

Have a good one! xoxo

Ugh, having the first lady "at" the Oscars ruined it for me. (well only that part! The rest is on other people! ;D) I'm so sick of seeing her everywhere and hearing about her vacations-enough already!

I made homemade Samoas last weekend and while they're absolutely delicious, they took sooooooooo long to make! It took almost my entire Saturday! Luckily though, some of it was down time while various components were taking time to set up so I could at least get some other things done.

Love this collection of links! I love Jack Nicholson! He's wild! And I'll be watching that documentary the last half of the work day. =)

Have a lovely weekend. I say go with the classic aviator glasses, they look great on everyone and can be dressed up or down.

I'll be heading to happy hour and a Cake tribute band concert tonight with my sister (first sisters-night-out since she had her baby last month). Sounds like you'll be having a fun weekend yourself. :)

I hope you can stop by my newest post about the Box of Thanks I'm doing this year.

Jesse for the glasses. There are much better aviators out there. The Jesse seems much more classy.

Misread 200 calories as 2,000, looked at the pictures, and immediately began to question my entire life. Phewsh.

I REEEEEEEEALLY wish you would mention in NY Times links that they were in fact links to the Times. I try to avoid using up my free articles so quickly when I read this site at home where I don't bother with a subscription because we get the hard copy. At work this is not an issue but I always seem to get the Times link on my home wireless. Drives me crazy!

Go with the Jesse sunglasses, I think that they're more your style... or maybe they're just my style and I like to think that I have awesome taste!

Just a little request: if your new Italian friend wants to make you Italian food this weekend you should probably get his recipe and put it on your blog.

That perfect vacation link from the NY times was so useful for me! My husband and I are planning a trip in July and we need to be careful to not overbook ourselves and enjoy the planning. Happy weekend!

Go with the "Jesse" pair! Jennifer Lawrence is hilarious! Hopefully she doesnt turn too Hollywood!

zoe g said...

I say Leonardo glasses, spice it up! They're different! The Jesse pair are still really nice but aren't your usual glasses the same style?

Also, another great selection of Friday links! I always look foreword to them!

Did you see Jennifer Lawrence's interview after the Oscars? Hysterical! Shes keeping it real. Love her.

That Jennifer Lawrence is something pretty great. Thank goodness.
The Shining documentary and the cliff diving makes me lose control of bodily functions. And Michelle Obama... so damn cool. A great round up, as usual!

Eliza Jane said...

Great posts, as usual. Thanks, Jo! And you know that video about what English sounds like to foreigners?.....after working in a place for three months, and socializing with the people around me, I realized/found out that one of my work friends is the guy in that video!! He also wrote it and his partner directed/produced it! How small world is that?! I first saw that video three years ago!
