HATCH spring collection!

My friend Ariane designs HATCH, the beautiful maternity brand, so when she invited me to her showroom to try on some new spring pieces, I jumped at the chance! Last week, I rode my trusty bike to Soho and arrived ready to play dress up. Here are a few photos...
First we browsed through all the pretty clothes. (You can see the full spring collection here.)
The whole point of HATCH is that you can wear the clothes before, during and after pregnancy—so we both tried on some pieces. Ariane wore the jumper, and I wore the dinner party dress.
Next we both tried on the sweatshirt dress, which was insanely comfortable. It felt like wearing a blanket.
And I completely fell in love with these everyday pants, which would be perfect all spring and summer. I wore them with this v-neck tee, and Ariane wore the weekend short and button down.
I also threw on the cape, just to feel French.
It was such a fun girly afternoon. Aren't her clothes beautiful? You can see the rest of the spring collection (on actual models) in HATCH's online shop. Thank you again for having me, Ariane!

P.S. Pregnancy survival guide.

Ironically I just read an article on how uncomfortable Kim Kardashian looks to the world pregnant because she is not wearing any maternity wear...These clothes are very pretty very girly and look so comfortable!!! I'm not pregnant but if I bought that sweatshirt dress I probably would wear it out in a month because i'd wear it so much! =)

  39. What a cool designer to know! Though I can't afford the line (and narrowly missed the sample sale, darn it) I've been so impressed with the materials she uses--almost all 100% silk. Investment pieces like this should be built on great fabric that will last.
I think my favorite are the polka dot shorts she's wearing.

  40. How cute are the polka dot pants! Yes, impressive material. Silk must feels so good.

  55. you are adorable! i have been loving everything that hatch has been doing - i hated pregnancy clothes and often wore regular stuff that allowed room for my belly. because i hardly bought any clothes with my first pregnancy i have promised myself to splurge on some hatch items next time!

  56. The white dress is cute but I could never get behind the idea of wearing a tent when you're pregnant (or really when you're not pregnant either). You're already huge, why wear something to make yourself look bigger? BTW, you've really popped and you look so happy. Such an exciting time!

  75. i love your belly! so cute! mine popped last week too all of a sudden! ( and I am 3 days apart on the due date with you :))
About hatch - i love their collections, but so not as impressed with spring as I thought I would be... In all honesty, as comfy as the pants may be, an elastic band is such a "no" for me... I was hoping for something LESS pregnant-obvious, as they did before. I loved the leggings and other pants they've done in the past. So, not sure about this one, but looking forward to a new release in April! :) Pregnancy suits you so well! :)
