Little black dresses

This fall, I went to the ballet with my friend Jason and his girlfriend, who was wearing a little black dress with a sleek ponytail and red lipstick. She looked so incredibly chic that ever since then I've been on the hunt for the perfect little black dress. Here are the six pretty ones...
1. Bardot dress.
2. Lace dress.
3. Bow dress.
4. Beaded dress.
5. Pleated dress. (The leopard heels are a fantastic touch.)
6. Lace dress.

Which would you choose? I think I'd go for #1 or #5...

P.S. Hot pink would be fun, too:)

  15. 5 and 6 are definitely the ones closest to my style preferences. They're all cute and I'd imagine they would all look adorable at a Holiday party (or night at the ballet).

LBDs are so hard sometimes, but such a necessity!

  50. I searched and searched for years until finally, my friend got married and asked me to be a bridesmaid. She wanted me to wear a little black dress, so I had to get one.
I ended up sewing mine. I just couldn't find one I loved within my budget. But I got everything I wanted! My friend's mom had hers made by a seamstress and she got everything she wanted, too. It was a great solution!

  55. I love that lace dress!

I found my absolute favorite little black dress when I was 16. I bought it for $25 at TJ Maxx and wore it to my Junior Prom. It was far from your typical prom dress and I felt so grown up and mature. I paired it with red heels and pearls and got so many compliments.
It is still my go-to when I need to dress up, and I am dreading the day it no longer fits.
