Have a beautiful weekend.

What are your plans for this weekend? We're excited to go to a magic show tomorrow (more on that later:), and then we'll be hosting the big bake sale on Sunday, so please come say hello! It would be great to see you. Samantha also made gorgeous prints to support the effort. Hope you have a wonderful weekend, and here are a few great posts from around the web...

A song for your weekend.

Winter's coming.

A restaurant in an old classroom! (You even sit at desks.)

Now that's a before-and-after.

Beautiful bride.

The best signs from the Simpsons.

Wow, dark red lipstick looks good on...everyone. (This crimson is a good one to try.)

My favorite picture of Obama thus far.

Make a reading nook with an old crib mattress.

Marion, what a dress!

Ideal shelf for booklovers.

Delicious cookbook.

10 travel websites worth bookmarking.

Update: Louis CK just added two shows in Staten Island on November 17th to benefit the hurricane relief efforts. Whoot whoot!

Have a good one! xoxo

This is an excellent analysis of that Obama photograph, and the vision it represents of modern marriage - spot on, and so moving:

That picture's on the new Economist UK! I love it, too. A friend of mine saw it today and said 'Now go hug a Republican!' :)

I am adding that Bobbi Brown lipstick to my wishlist but wanted to let you know that my favourite dark red lippy is Black Honey from Clinique. Awesomeness.

Happy weekend!
I thought of you and your family just now as I was watching a home video by my brother in law capturing my niece's first experience in NYC a few weeks back and I had to share it.

How fun it would be to be a kid in the big ol' city.

Cheers from Oregon!

That restaurant in a schoolhouse is pretty cool. And here in Oregon we have two entire hotels in schoolhouses:

Loved the links today! Especially the travel websites. For any of you travelers, another good one that isn't included on the list is www.roadtrippers.com. It's great for planning your road trip and off-the-map attractions and stops along the way. Have a good weekend :)

Other services followed, including offerings from WildBlue in 2000 and HughesNet, both of which remain the two dominant players in the market today. WildBlue was acquired by ViaSat in 2009[2]; HughesNet was acquired by EchoStar in 2011.
