ReplyDeleteI watched that Girl Model documentary and found it really depressing. The young girls are desperately lonely and exploited. It's awful! After watching it I would never want my daughter to get into modelling no matter how much it suited her or she wanted it. Worth a watch though to see the ugly side of the modelling industry.

ReplyDelete(Picture Me). Low budget, but well done and very interesting. The model it follows is very likable - smart responsible, and insightful. (In the end she walks away from the industry to go to college.) The industry is depressing, but it's balanced by feeling happy that she got out of it.
