Motherhood Mondays: Flying Henry

Photographer Rachel Hulin saw her husband lifting up their baby Henry one day and wondered what it would look like if her husband were cropped out. The result? Henry appeared to be flying!

Hulin created a series of these adorable images, and now she's publishing a 40-page book, Flying Henry, in April 2013. How cute is that? (Wouldn't it be cool to write a story to go along with the photos?)

(Thanks, Scott)

the premise of this sounds like it could go either way (some photoshop jobs can be SO bad), but these are so well done and perfectly endearing. i love that lonely one of him flying over the bed. so cute!!

That's fabulous :) I've been taking a picture of my baby every day for his faraway grandmas: you never know what kind of adventure awaits in documenting the simplest moments!!

I just showed this to my husband and he said, "I kind of feel bad for the dad. He's doing all the heavy lifting and he gets cropped out."

Yes, they should write a story to go with it, it would make a great children's book!

That's really good photoshop work, I love the one over the sink. I feel sorry for the dad though I suppose they have the originals without him deleted.
