Sounds lovely to have your mom in town. This weekend is my boyfriend's and my three-year anniversary! We're brainstorming wild ideas, but I don't think we're quite ready for a trapeze class yet like you and Alex... some of the rides at the State Fair might be death-defying enough for us!

I work across the street from the empire state building, and arrived minutes after the shooting. It was terrifying, and upsetting...it's hard to focus today! Anyone have uplifting songs, or a cute joke??
