Have a relaxing weekend.

What are you up to this weekend? My mom is coming to visit from Michigan, and we're having a ladies night. (We're thinking dinner here followed by this movie). I can't wait to see her. Hope you have a great weekend, and here are a few fun posts from around the web...

A song for your weekend.

Canned air from New York and Paris. That's all.

This perfume sounds fantastic.

This squeaky door sounds like Miles Davis.

Is Bill Murray's party tour for real? That's so weird/awesome!

An outdoor shower in NYC.

Dancing like a 4-year-old.

Perfect.

Vacation placemats.

Pinterest is making me hungry.

People really want the president's beer.

Make your own tote.

Want to be Facebook friends? (P.S. Toby went on a date!)

And finally, on a more serious note, how devastating about the shooting at the Empire State Building today. My heart goes out to the victims and their families.

  6. Sounds lovely to have your mom in town. This weekend is my boyfriend's and my three-year anniversary! We're brainstorming wild ideas, but I don't think we're quite ready for a trapeze class yet like you and Alex... some of the rides at the State Fair might be death-defying enough for us!

  17. Yay for the Dylan link! One of my favorite songs ever :-) Sadly, I notice that Bil Murray will not be crashing a party in my town.

So very sorry to read about the Empire State Building shootings. I'm saddened and troubled by the repeated (generally somewhat random) news of shootings like this. Heavy sigh.

  28. Joanna, you are endlessly charming. I love your blog and have been reading it for nearly a year. You are seriously what I imagine the online persona of Kate Middleton to be - funny, classy, tasteful and playful. Your blog touches on topics that are not unique within the blogosphere, but you manage to give these topics some very characteristic charm. Thanks for the reads and have a lovely weekend!
