My friend Abbey went to a wedding recently and couldn't stop staring at the bride's ring. Don't you love this cluster ring?

    My engagement ring was a Pandora cluster ring with flowers and diamonds...I absolutely adore its delicate details and simple flower design.
    I think more people are embracing the idea putting a contemporary twist on their wedding jewellery to make it their own.

  23. I agree that it's more everyday jewels. Why are new yorkers not into...well, traditional wedding rings? I'm not saying I need a kardashian rock or anything, I just don't get the iddy biddy rings that I would just buy for myself. Just curious! I do think it's lovely ring!

    i absolutely love this. it's delicate and unique and beautiful.

    i am tired of "traditional wedding rings"--in other words, the tasteless gigantic diamonds that all look EXACTLY the same and the surburban blow-dried blondes who all wear the same shiny show-off jewelry. those just are not my aesthetics. every relationships is unique, so why not have unique and beautiful rings, too?

    whenever i see someone with a huge, platinum ring and diamonds, i think they are sadly out of style.

  31. I love this ring so so so much!!

    I think that the size of the diamond often speaks to the couple's values. Soon your fiance's money will be your money and your money will be your fiance's, so getting a ring that you would buy for yourself makes a lot of sense. If you would buy yourself a giant rock, than your fiance buying you one is appropriate. If you would never your money that way, than neither should your fiance. To each their own.

    So beautiful. I love that it's different from the usual eternity-style diamond wedding bands and that it is unique enough to be worn alone.

  42. My engagement ring was really similar to this, and I loved it. But it broke and can't be repaired, and I am still heart broken about it. But time has passed since it broke, and I would feel silly replacing it with something different.

  44. I love unique rings as well,and had inherited my mothers'diamond when I married, and didn't want another. My fiance was suprised when I asked him not to get me a diamond for our engagement or wedding rings."Just add to my turquoise collection over time, that Daddy began when I was 9" I asked. He was pleasantly suprised. 18 yrs. later,I had my entire collection out to clean. His voice over my shoulder startled me "Just how many carats was that diamond I didn't get you?" OOPS! Then he cracked up at my "Deer-in-Headlights" face.Get what you LOVE!

  45. I have two rings that I wear constantly (both given to my from my parents) and either of them would be more than acceptable (to me) as engagement/wedding rings. They're simple and most people who see them and think that they already are an engagement/wedding ring wrinkle their noses. But I like simple jewelry, something that doesn't get caught or get in the way of me doing what I need to do during the day.

    Yeah, it's a nice ring! I am not a fan of diamonds (for socially conscious reasons) or the idea of an engagement ring at all, but I was planning on a twig ring from Bittersweet NYC when I got married. Unfortunately, my engagement broke off a couple months ago. :-(

  53. oOoOoooh love love love it! What I find fantastic about this ring is that it's unassuming, original and creative. It would even be great if you could add in colored stones as well, like his birthstone and your birthstone for example and turn it into something really personal. Sometimes engagement/wedding rings are so noticeable that I'd feel a little paranoid wearing it everywhere, but I guess that's the point. For me, this would be something more up my alley.

  58. Although pretty, it does not seem strong enough to be a wedding ring which rarely gets taken off when doing chores. It seems as if it will be too delicate for the rough and tumble of everyday life.

    I think the days where a woman needs a small fortune sitting on her finger to symbolise a man's commitment should be over.

    I think it says a lot about these woman who say they need a large, showy wedding/engagement ring, and not in a good way.

    Personally, I prefer a simple band for both bride and groom.

  70. It’s so charming! It feels almost symbolic of the many promises a couple shares during their wedding. It’s a cluster of the promises of love, fidelity, compassion, understanding…everything that a marriage needs to last long. There really is something to be said about smaller rings – they are understated and inconspicuous, but designed well enough to be noticed.
