ReplyDeleteOh and I love this weeks picture as always!
ReplyDeleteI took the NYTS trapeze class a few weeks ago! It was amazing and so fun! You will love it because you were a dancer- It feels really good to be instructed and perform with your body again. That sounds very weird, but you'll understand after you do it! It's something we rarely get to do anymore as adults. Enjoy!!
ReplyDeletewe're going to CLEVELAND! leaving tonight from NYC and still at work. LONG night ahead of us... the price we pay to see our families while living in the big city!
ReplyDeletecheers.
Trapeze is great! I've done TSNY classes in DC. Just LISTEN to them and try to relax as much as you can--they call out to you exactly when you need to do things. I got so scared the first few times that I would totally ignore them! But if you try to focus on their voices, it's so much easier. And they have a good grip on you--you won't fall.
ReplyDelete(Two tips: 1) when they are putting the harness around you they tell you to suck in--but don't suck in too much! Mine was way too tight the first class and I had bruises on my ribs! 2) wear PANTS (you want them to cover your calves)--and preferably a slightly lighter color since you get chalk all over them)
Haha, have a great time on the trapeze! Some friends and I got together and did that for my 30th birthday in S.F.
ReplyDeletetrapeze class?? whaa? Amazing!

ReplyDeletehow funny-a trapeez class! great tune for the weekend jo!x
ReplyDeleteps-swimsuit is a noooooooo
ReplyDeleteDo or Don't: This swimsuit.- Don't. Eyes are going down, and there is nothing good about the photo print. :) On the top it is ok...
ReplyDeleteBit blushing, G
Trapeze is awesome! I tried it in a beach resort once, here in Dominican Republic. At first, before you jump, it's veeery nerve racking, but once you jump it's super fun. It's not as hard as it looks, and you don't have to be super flexible to try it, the instructor will tell you the right time to do every move. After I tried it, I did it like 5 more times, it's that fun!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your Huffington Post links.....I haven't read this paper.......but have decided I need to start after reading some of the links you've posted........hope you had a great weekend......I always enjoy your Friday roundup
ReplyDeleteUh, I say no on that swimsuit but maybe because it frightens me a little.
ReplyDeleteAnd that marriage list is the best I have ever read. I love that “Go to bed mad.” is the number one. That took me forever to learn but it is SO DARN TRUE.
Regarding the swinsuit : definitively absolutly don't !
ReplyDeleteI like the swimsuit but I think it takes a daring individual to wear it! Have fun trapezin' this weekend!!

ReplyDeleteI think that swimsuit is absolutely hilarious! It's a DO!
ReplyDeletehttp://covertboutique.blogspot.com
That swimsuit is TOO funny. If they made one with a cat on it that wasn't $300 I would totally get it as a joke.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! I've seen that bathing suit before and I would totally buy it because my dog Beatrice looks just like that! See pics here: http://violetboutique.ca/category/beatrice/
ReplyDeleteJust not sure about the price tag for such a novelty item. But It would be pretty darn cute! xox
Woah! That swimsuit is a total N.O. I love dogs (even had a Golden), but the only thing worse than the price tag is the shot from behind. Is it me or does it look like she didn't have time to get a wax?
