Do or Don't: Eyelash curler

Last night, I hung out with my gorgeous friend Susan from Glamour, and as we chatted, I couldn't stop staring at her eyelashes. They were so thick and swoopy and gorgeous. Her eyes looked beautiful and wide awake. Her big secret? An eyelash curler. I've never had one, since I figured it wouldn't do much. But after last night, I'm sold. (Bonus: Susan said the cheap ones are just as good). Thoughts? Do you use an eyelash curler? Am I the last one to the party?
(Top photo of Audrey Hepburn, although I wish I could have taken a photo of Susan's perfect lashes!)

  2. I ALWAYS use one....it makes such a huge difference!! I mean, I'm no Audrey...but I feel like using one makes it a touch less obvious that I've had no sleep ;)

  3. I thought everyone used one, actually. I've been using one religiously since high school.

  4. HOW DID YOU EVER SURVIVE WITHOUT ONE!?!? that was the first thing my mom let me do when i wanted to wear makeup. she let me curl my eyelashes and put on clear mascara to make it hold, haha. i curl mine EVERYDAY! i swear they curl DOWN if i don't...

if you have long lashes, they make you look like you've got lush, gorgeous, fake lashes on, and if you have short ones, it fools people into seeing longer ones!!

    cheers.

  5. Yes. They are one of the few beauty products that are painless, cheap (a curler will last ages, just make sure you use it BEFORE you put on mascara) and really do work!

  6. I had my makeup done for a photoshoot recently and the makeup artist used a SPOON to curl my lashes. apparently her grandmother taught her how to curl them that way! they were much better curled, more natural looking than the awkward crease you sometimes get with the lash curler. amazing.

  7. Sometimes I only use the curler, and no mascara! They are miracle workers!
Tweezerman brand, with the purple insert are THE best.
I've tried MANY MANY kinds, and this is the best.

  8. oh my gosh I am SOOOO an eyelash curler type of girl...I feel like it makes my eyes look bigger and more "stand outish" but that's just me. I've got the straightest lashes in the history of mankind...thanks heavens for this little contraption!

  9. Yes! I already have long lashes, so I can't wear glasses usually. I generally save the lash curler for fantastic nights out, or when I know I have a long day! It's my beauty best friend!

  10. I have one but never ever use it.. I'm going to after this post though!

  11. I never used one because as you I thought it doesn't really do much but after reading your post, I totally want to give it a go. Btw: That photo of Audrey is darling). Happy Friday. xo

  14. Putting on mascara without using an eyelash curler is like putting on lots of perfume without having a shower first.Just doesn't work!
I've been using it for years and cannot imagine my life without it.

  15. If you hit the eyelash curler with a blowdryer or heat it with a straightener for 10 seconds, it makes HUGE difference. You will never go back :)

  16. Wow, I had no idea so many people actually used curlers, based on the above comments. I have one, but truthfully, don't feel like it makes a big difference. Maybe I just need to get a better one!

  17. A big-time DO! I don't wear much makeup, but my eyelashes naturally point sort of down, so I look so much more awake (and pretty?) when I curl them. The famous Shu Umera one pinches my eyelids, but I've had great results with the Sephora brand "Curl It" one. Better than mascara -- huge eyelashes with both.

Oh my goodness, I don't leave my house without curled eyelashes. It's the easiest way, besides a smile, to brighten up a face!

  19. I use my Shu Uemura curler everyday - makes such a difference, even without mascara!

    ReplyDelete
  20. I used an eyelash curler before I started using mascara! Isn't that silly? It was my first cosmetic-related purchase and I feel bummed if I leave the house without giving my eyelashes a little boost, even if I don't do anything else!

    ReplyDelete
  21. I can't live without my eyelash curler.
I feel kind of naked when I fail to curl my lashes. Totally silly, but totally true.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Oh, yes! I never use the mascara without the curler. I hear Avy, thought. I actually recall one conversation where my dad was telling my mum exactly the same thing: that it looked like a torture instrument(my mum uses it all the time!) But yes, the combination curler+marcara does make a difference! :)

  23. My eyelash curler is a MUST. Even if I only have time to do one thing in the morning, it's curl my eyelashes and throw on some mascara.

Trick: curl and immediately apply mascara. For ultra swoopy lashes, let your mascara dry while you continue to get ready, then right before you walk out the door, curl again, and add another light layer of mascara. It gives them some extra pump :)

  24. I love my eyelash curler I use everyday from simple looks to done up looks! I feel like it helps the eyes look more awake.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Eyelash curlers have always kind of scared me (I don't like things coming too close to my eyes, especially when they look like torture devices). But everyone's comments suggest I need to at least give it a try. Beauty adventure!

Always! I SWEAR by my Shu Uemura eyelash curler. They are more pricey than your average drugstore one but they're absolutely worth it.

  29. I use an eyelash curler every single day. It takes no time and with a little mascara, the benefits last all day!

    A definite beauty DO!

  30. I hardly have any eyelashes (or eyebrows for that matter) and the ones I do have don't really hold the curl. I've tried before mascara, after mascara & both but it never seems to last!

    Get on that girl! ;)

  35. I hate applying mascara, so usually the only thing I do to my lashes is curl them. It really makes a huge difference!

  36. With straight Asian eyelashes like mine, having a curler is a necessity! You are going to love the results--after much trial and error from stabbing your eyes multiple times! Just be careful that the tears don't ruin the curl. ;)

  37. kimiko11:45 AM

yes, yes, yes, yes, YES! it makes a big difference, even for little lashes like mine! of the many i've tried, the best of the best (in my humble opinion) is Shu Uemura. have fun!!

  40. Yes!! I have pretty long lashes and needed one to keep my eyes looking bright and happy. I would be lost without mine!

  41. Everyday since I was in high school. They do take some practice, but once you get the hang of it the results are fantastic. And if you've got long lashes like me and find your mascara is making your lashes stick together...an eyelash curler helps.

    ReplyDelete
  42. It makes such a big difference. I always try to use one with or with out mascara. Shu Uemura is the best and will last forever.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I always use an eyelash curler....it makes a huge difference! Honestly, I could probably even skip mascara and just curl them and get nearly the same effect.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I sometimes use it, but I'm sure I isnt good for my eyelashes!! however, the result is incredible!

    ReplyDelete
  45. jeannie k.11:48 AM

yes! they make a big difference. also, don't crease just once in the center of the lash. Start close to the lid then "walk" it down the length to the end. That gives the best kind of curl and not a harsh crease.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I swear by my Shiseido eyelash curler! It is the most amazing thing ever.

  47. Danielle11:51 AM

I've been curling my lashes since middle school. Way before I started using any other makeup products! I've tried many brands and the Shu Umera are definitely the best. I find the cheaper drug store brands barely make a difference.

    ReplyDelete
  48. yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes YES.

It's my favorite tool. Sometimes I don't even use mascara. It's one of my "if I got stranded on an island and could only have 3 beauty products..." things. I would take it with me on a stranded island. Really.

My favorite trick in using it is to blast it with heat (using my hairdryer) before curling my lashes. In the same way a hot curling iron forces your hair to hold a curl, a warm eyelash curler helps your lashes to stay curled longer. It's wonderful. Try it.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Just recently started using mine again and this time its love.... I can't deal with fake lashes - too common now- If you've even seen TOWIE (UK reality show) everyone wears them and its horrible!! 50 year olds in strips of false eye lashes -not good. Though individauls aren't too bad!

    ReplyDelete
  50. I always, ALWAYS use one. My lashes are really long, and if I don't use one, they stick straight out.

  52. Count me among the Shu Uemura eyelash curler addicts! I've been known to tell people that if I could only have one beauty product THAT would be it (well, that and a tweezer I suppose, haha). Also, people have consistently told me I look "tired" when I forget to curl my lashes! :-0

  53. Anonymous11:54 AM

I have one which I never use because I am allergic to Mascara and don't see the point of eyelash curler without using mascara.

That said, I have long thick eyelashes but they are super straight so maybe the curler will still show an effect if I just curl my super straight lashes and skip the mascara.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Oh my gosh, yes! I have long eyelashes and have used one for years. I agree with the commenter above about warming it up with a blowdryer beforehand, the curls will be more natural and last longer. I also use eyelash primer (by Blinc), which makes my lashes longer and fuller before putting on mascara.

Next weekend, I am getting eyelash extensions for the first day with my sister and I am soooo excited to see how they turn out!

    ReplyDelete
  55. I LOVE mine and used it for years but when I stopped on a whim for a week my eyelashes grew in thicker and looked even better! The curler is great but my lashes fell out more and looked wimpy (albeit, sky high!).

    ReplyDelete
  56. YES, EVERY DAY. It's quick, easy, and makes a dramatic difference for opening up the eyes even without using a touch of mascara. Although, mascara makes them even better:)

    ReplyDelete
  57. I don't think I've ever owned one! Luckily, I've been blessed with fairly long lashes and I've come up with my own curling tecnique. :)

  58. Oh, I have to use one every time I apply mascara! My eyelashes won't curl up in the least without it. I have to hold it for at least thirty to sixty seconds on each eye. Ugh...such a pain!

    ReplyDelete
  59. Oh I've used one since I started wearing makeup! It's always been one of my staples because it makes SUCH a difference.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Am I the only woman who honestly has no interest in using them?

One of my freshman flatmates in university used one religiously, and I hated the funky crease it gave her lashes. But maybe she wasn't using it properly to give her a nice curl.

My lashes are already relatively long with a natural curl, so I guess I'm lucky enough that I don't absolutely need the extra boost.

    ReplyDelete
  61. i used to use one everyday... but just stopped for some reason. i don't even think i have one anymore.. hmmm.... maybe that's why i'm so annoyed with my eyelashes lately... ;)

    thanks for reminding me!

  64. if i use an eyelash curler my lashes make a loop and end up touching the eyelids!!!! this gadget was not made for me....
anyway, if you end up buying one, don't use it daily becouse they are not really good for the strength of lashes ;)

    ReplyDelete
  65. Of course! I hate when you see curling mascara reviews on Sephora or other sites and people are complaining it doesn't curl that much, they're usually the same people who say they don't use an eye-lash curler! How can you expect a liquid to magically curl your lashes up without at least a little help to make the shape! lol...

BTW - A curler, along with Urban Decay's Supercurl Mascara is amazing! Worth trying!

    ReplyDelete
  66. I have that exact Shiseido eyelash curler and it really does make a difference. I love it but I try not to use it too often...I'm afraid of my lashes falling out from over curling. :)

  69. I've been using makeup regularly (5 times a week or so) since 2007, but never used an eyelash curler because, like you, I didn't think it would do much good on my lashes (which are super short). Plus it looks super scary to use (and I *have* pinched myself using them---yeowch!) But just in the past couple of months I started using mine (I have the Shu Uemura one, which I looove) and it really does make such a difference... if I'm putting on mascara, now I have to curl my lashes!

    ReplyDelete
  70. I have asian eyelashes (straight and short) I can't skip the curler. If i could only pick one makeup item to use every day this would hands down be it

    ReplyDelete
  71. I swear by Shu Uemera's curler - definitely no crease with it becuase of how the pad is curved - and I don't go without curling either. You just look so much more awake!

    ReplyDelete
  72. As an Oriental woman, an eyelash curler is a must. I'm envious of all the people who have naturally curly eyelashes (even my husband's eyelashes are curlier than mine after the eyelash curler!) so I suppose it's not the most obvious tool for some to grab, but it still surprises me to know that it is a new addition to some peoples' makeup tools!

    ReplyDelete
  73. Oh wow! The one crucial thing my mother taught me about makeup is that you should always have curled lashes with a little mascara--all other makeup products are secondary. I've taken that advice to heart, and it's never steered me wrong (although I wouldn't say no to a little lipstick/gloss every now and again!).

    ReplyDelete
  74. It is one of my ESSENTIALS (that and mascara.) I never go anywhere with my eyelashes uncurled. Ha!

I hope you love it :)

    ReplyDelete
  75. I use one and I heat it up with a blowdryer for 10 seconds or so for each eye. Careful, it gets hot... but it acts like a hair curler. Just for your eyelashes :)

Never had an eyelash curler, I have always used a metal spoon. I feel like my eyelashes would "break" with a curler, so spoon it is!

    ReplyDelete
  80. I always use one! My grandmother showed me how to curl my eyelashes long before I ever started wearing makeup. During the day, if you curl your eyelashes, you don't even need mascara.

    ReplyDelete
  81. I always want to get on board with the curler but for some reason it makes my eyelashes shoot out straight- not in a good way- where my eyelashes kind of swoop by themselves. It may be user error so perhaps I’ll give it another shot.

Jo, you should do a eyelash curler tutorial for the beauty implement challenged such as me!

I thought every women who uses makeup has at least tried an eyelash curler...maybe just because my mom always had one or two when I was growing up. Makes all the difference.

  83. You are definitely not the last one to the party... I never curl my lashes and don't own a lash curler. I've never had good experiences with them (ouch!) and I feel like my lashes just end up looking ridiculous and fake.

  85. I bought one the other week but have no idea how to use it, help!

    ReplyDelete
  86. Definitely use it all the time, and I barely use makeup (all I really use is concealer, eyelash curler & mascara). I have short straight lashes, and it makes a huge difference.

Be careful using it after applying mascara though - it will boost your lashes even more, but you will also suffer more breakage and lose some lashes over time (yipes!). Maybe save that for special occasions only...curling beforehand doesn't seem to cause problems.

I use one all the time! They are a wonderful, horrible looking invention.

    ReplyDelete
  88. I have a love-hate relationship with mine. Once, I was curling my eyelashes and walked out of the bathroom at the same time, slipping on some water on the floor. My arms instinctively hit the ground to protect myself, pulling out ALL MY EYELASHES in the process! The most painful thing in the world. I though my entire eyeball fell out of its socket. I had one bald eye for months. It was hideous. But I still use the curler today, even though my long straight lashes don't stay curled for longer than 10 minutes. Sigh, what we women do for beauty! ;) xo

  89. I always said, if I was stranded on an island that would be the beauty tool I would bring. Even without mascara, they are amazing!

  91. Sarah H.12:27 PM

Yep, it's my favorite thing in my make-up bag! I have short, straight, blond lashes, so even when I'm going for an almost make-up free look, I usually still curl my lashes and swipe on mascara. Otherwise my lashes are invisible! It doesn't take long to get the hang of using one either. I agree with the other commenters who've warned against using it often AFTER applying mascara—I've found this to cause serious lash damage/breakage. Eek!

I've used one since highschool. I'd recommend not curling your eyelashes after you have applied mascara. I love mine. I've always had a cheap Revlon one and it works great.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Mos def! I usually curl my lashes, apply mascara, do the rest of my makeup, curl them again, and apply one final coat of mascara. Then if needed, I use a toothpick to separate the lashes that clump together!

By the way, I am having a giveaway on my blog fora stella & dot necklace for ($198) !!

  103. I used to wear one, but they started pulling my eyelashes out :( Be careful with your lashes! Make sure you use eye makeup remover every time you wear eye makeup, because it will help condition your eyelashes so they don't get brittle and dry and come out when you use the eyelash curler. Fun tip of the day! :)

I haven't worn eye makeup in months and have been using "Rapidlash" so they grow back and they have and they're beautiful.

    ReplyDelete
  104. My eyelashes are straight so i have been using a curler since high school. I press down in 3 spots on my lashes. nearest my eyelid, middle and at the end of my lashes, so there isn't one bent angle.

    ReplyDelete
  105. I had the same epiphany recently! amazing difference.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Lucky me, I don't need them. Our sons have curly eyelashes too. I did try to use them once, never again! They were horrible.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Yes! I use Shu Uemura's eyelash curler with Chanel's Inimitable mascara, even if the only other "makeup" I'm wearing is Chapstick. Just be careful not to pull your eyelashes when you curl them - ouch!

    ReplyDelete
  108. Wow, yes. Eyelash curler totally transforms my eyes -- and thus, my face. I've used a bunch of different ones over the years, but my Shu Uemura is hands down the best. Hate being without it.

  109. OMG, this post couldnt have come in a more timely manner...quick story...Monday I was getting ready for work, and realized i didnt curl my lashes. So after applying hand lotion (Big mistake) I used my eyelash curler, and my hand slipped while i was clamped down, and I now have NO eyelashes on the outer 1/4 of my right eye...and it hurt like heck!

My fiance thinks its hysterical, but now I apply fake lashes in the morning :( So be careful with those things!

    ReplyDelete
  110. I've been using one every day since I was 13! My husband thinks it looks like a torture device.

    ReplyDelete
  111. i'm convinced an eyelash curler helps your eyelashes grow! i've been using one since i was in 7th grade ... it makes such a difference. some days, i don't even use mascara!

  112. YES! Mascara is the one thing I will not go without and curling your eyelashes makes a HUGE difference, even with long eyelashes.

    ReplyDelete
  113. I wasn't convinced and always used to look at them as torture devices, but this Christmas I got a pair and it changed my world! Really opens your eyes more. Huge and simple change! I do it everyday now.

    ReplyDelete
  114. How do you not know! had one for years and years, although now my eyes look so small without them :(

    ReplyDelete
  115. Oh you have to!!! I've been using one since i was a teen and started using make up at all. it was the first thing i used (in combination with mascara of course) and if im feeling lazy in my morning routine, it's the one thing i wont skip! Without it mascara just makes your lashes look straight and unnatural. ..just dont squeeze to hard you dont want to break your lashes and pull them out

    ReplyDelete
  116. Since I was a teenager curling my eyelashes was the one thing I wouldn't leave the house without doing. My lashes are totall straight and it makes such a difference.

  118. I have curled my eyelashes nearly everyday since I was 13 and can't imagine not doing it. A good tip: warm the curler with your blow-dryer for about 15 seconds - your eyelash curler will work even better!

Although the curler is great and I will forever use it, I'm still saving my pennies for Latisse. I can't wait to try it out!

    ReplyDelete
  119. Always, it is really easy, you will love it. But sometime, on a night out you should try false eyelashes...they can be hard to apply, but the results are way worth it!

    ReplyDelete
  120. here's a tip! curl before putting on the mascara to avoid damaging your eyelashes. also, my mom tried Latisse a few years ago after feeling like her eyelashes were stubby and sparse. And boy did it work! She had to trim them (!) they were so long. :)

  122. MUST. I have curly hair but absolutely straight eyelashes. I have a very minimal makeup routine in the morning (undereye concealer, tinted moisturizer, eyebrow tamer), but I always make sure to curl my lashes because it instantly makes me look more awake!

  123. I always use a curler! I need a new one though.. just realized that I've had mine since I was like 14.

    ReplyDelete
  124. I haven't gone a day without the eye lash curler in about 10 years. I cannot stand mascara so this works great for me. One thing - I've had both the shu eumura and the revlon one--they're really both the same quality...

  128. I would not have eyes if it was not for my curler. I have a Shiseido and another from Shu Uemura. I have deep set eyes and short lashes so I must curl. This tool and mascara are absolute musts for me.

  129. sold! can't go a day without using one (:

    ReplyDelete
  130. An eyelash curler and bronzer are the two things I use even on 'no makeup' days. I was taught by a makeup artist to always try to get your mascara on as quickly as you can after you curl - it's like putting hairspray on an updo, 'setting' the curl. You'll never be able to live without it again! :)

  131. A definite do! I wouldn't live without my eyelash curler!

  133. I've never used one, mostly because my eyelashes naturally curl upwards and seemed long enough without one. I definitely need mascara, though, since my lashes are light and I look sleepy without it!

    ReplyDelete
  134. I ALWAYS use one! I think it's a Southern thing.

    ReplyDelete
  135. Another secret: hold your hairdryer against the eyelash curler to warm it up like a curling iron... it helps set the lashes so they are curly longer.

had no idea some people DON'T use one! you'll never go back

I have used an eyelash curler just about daily for almost twenty years, with no problems. Recently, I applied cream eyeshadow on my lids and then used my trusty Shu eyelash curler. A little bit of the cream shadow got on the black curling pad and the clamp slipped, so I accidentally yanked out half of my eyelashes! I looked ridiculous for months until they grew back (and I was forbidden from wearing mascara during that time because it was "too heavy" for my now-fragile lashes). So please, please, please use caution. Don't clamp too hard, don't clamp when in a rush, and curl first before applying mascara, shadow, or liner, just in case. As for me, I will never use an eyelash curler again. It was just too traumatic.

  138. i've used one forever. it's also super awesome when you wake up with smushed lashes and they need to look a little more in synch. ;)

  141. I got one about 6 years ago and I thought I was the last one!

I kept seeing in magazines people listing it as one of their top 3 makeup essentials, or something like that, but never understood why. Then a makeup artist used it on me and I was sold! Everyday now, even if I don't use mascara.

LOVE my eyelash curler! But for the longest time it wouldn't curl my lashes! Until my friend gave me this tip and now every time it works!
1)Heat the curler with your blow-dryer for a few seconds. Not too hot, don't burn your eyelid!
2)Then use it before you put mascara on.
1)And use water-proof mascara! This is the most important part. It holds the curl longer! I've tried regular mascara and it doesn't hold as long as water-proof!
    Enjoy!

  157. I do and I love it. I discovered it in high school and never went back. My favourite is by Revlon. I always get asked how my lashes curl so well. TIP: Do it before you apply your mascara!

  158. .. absolutely yes on my tiny little lashes ... shu emuraha (bad spelling) is rated the best.

  159. ah... you lucky non-asians. I have straight eyelashes, so I absolutely need one, as well as the heated (battery-operated) eyelash curler for post-mascara. And must use really good waterproof mascara, if I don't want to look like a raccoon by 8 pm.

  167. oh mylanta girl! I don't wear make up (just blush) and I ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO CURL MY EYELASHES. I feel like I look tired if I don't. I actually point my hairdryer at my eyelash curler for maybe 10 seconds...feel it to make sure it's only warm to the touch.....and then curl my lashes. It keeps them curled for the whole day. I even take one with me for after I swim...I'm addicted but I suppose it's better to be addicted to that than actual make up. :)

  171. I curl my eyelashes every day - they're long but stick straight, so without some curl my eyes look small and sleepy. My favorite curler (and i have tried a LOT of them) is the japonesque Go Curl pocket curler. The small, flat design means i can take it with me when traveling (and it doesn't look like some terrifying torture device), the light pink color means i can see my eyelashes while i'm curling them to make sure i get them all, and it comes with an extra pad right in the handle + free pad replacements for life through the company. AND it gives me curl in my lashes that stays all day. the best!!

  173. It's pretty much the only thing I use on my face on a day to day basis besides my tinted moisturizer... I also have short straight eye lashes so it makes a world of a difference. Definitely do not feel like myself when I don't curl my eyelashes :P

  174. Never owned one? Wow! I have naturally long lashes, so I consider curling them to be mandatory! It really does make a big difference and makes using mascara more worthwhile!

YES use one! However, the trick to make them look perfect every time:

    WATERPROOF MASCARA.

It dries super quick so the curl holds (I have Asian lashes - stick straight).

And a good makeup remover for waterproof makeup is the kind you get from Victoria's Secret. It's expensive but it's literally the only thing that works on waterproof mascara.

  181. I sometimes do when I'm feeling "fancy". Makes the lashes really do their thing. But I'm curious...you said you "ordered one". Did Duane Reade run out? Or is there a special fancy one we should know about?

  182. I have an eyelash curler but never use it. I suppose I never really understand 'how' to use even if it seems straightforward.

    ReplyDelete
  183. I seldom use it... I have asian eyes - monolid with the "eyelid fat" and because my lashes are soo short when they are curled it actually looks really bad and unflattering. They look much fuller for me when they're uncurled.

    ReplyDelete
  184. too funny! i ALWAYS use it. it makes a world of difference. if i only have a minute to get ready in the morning, the two things i would not be able to leave the house without doing are: curling my eyelashes and putting on chapstick! my simple beauty essentials :)

I used an eyelash curler from junior high until my late 20's. I would heat it up with a hair dryer and clamp it down on my eyelids. Then my eyelashes started falling out. It came to the point where I lost half of the lashes on one lid, and at least as much on the other. That was six years ago, and only half of the lashes have grown back. I was completely addicted to the curler, but please be careful - you can permanently damage the hair follicles to the point of permanent lash loss.

  190. I use a plastic eyelash curler, with a brow brush. Keeping it clean is as important as not moving your hand when you are curling.

    ReplyDelete
  191. I have used an eyelash curler since high school. My lashes are pin straight and without one, I appear to have NO lashes.

I find the trick to a long lasting curl is to heat the curler with a blow dryer. Be sure to check the temperature on the palm of your hand before going anywhere near your eyelids!

  197. I have been obsessed with my eyelash curler since high school. I use just the tiniest bit of light mascara and curl the hell outta my eyelashes... It works better than any mascara I've ever tried alone! I actually left my eyelash curler at work a few weekends ago, and went in on Saturday morning because I couldn't go to dinner that night without it! Diehard eyelash curler.
