Handcrafted in Rhode Island, this sailing bracelet is made for both men and women to wear. The anchor clasp is a sweet touch. Wouldn't you like to wear it with shorts and tees this summer?Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at 12:23 PM

Ummm, YES. Most definitely with shorts and tees!
ReplyDeleteYup, I want this!
ReplyDeleteI love the bracelets, but the guy who makes them is annoying--his tumblr http://kieljamespatrick.tumblr.com/ is ridic! Kinda turned me off to the product.
ReplyDeleteLove the bracelet, love the site. This will make a perfect gift for my mother-in-law who loves anything to do with the beach, ocean, etc. Thank you for sharing it Joanna.

ReplyDeleteHow cute! Would go great with some Bensimon flats!
ReplyDeleteso cute!!!
ReplyDeleteI find this an especially touching piece right now, as we in SF just lost five sailors to the sea. What a gentle, a beautiful reminder to wear around a wrist.
ReplyDeleteI love how simple and perfect it is. It reminds me of my grandfather, who built his own boats!
ReplyDeletelove it!
ReplyDeleteYes! I've been wanting to buy one of these bracelets! So pretty.
ReplyDeleteLove it! It's a nice mix between pretty and vintage. Great find.
ReplyDeleteSo simple and gender neutral, which I like. I'd feel beachy chic with this! I'd love to pair it with a great sleeveless button down and some espadrilles.
ReplyDeleteLove this bracelet! Its on my "want" list on Pinterest! ha.
ReplyDeleteI love ALL things nautical and would wear this in a snap. Check out my top 12 summer must haves for him & her - SaturdaysNYC and their tees make me drool. From a bunch of surfing dudes :)

I'd like to wear it with a stripey t-shirt, chinos and bare feet on a yacht somewhere in the Mediterranean!
ReplyDeletethat bracelet is super cute! really like the anchor clasp too.
ReplyDeleteI love the bracelet, but it would be so easy to make, I wouldn't pay $38 for it. I'll go grab some stuff this week and make a tutorial on my blog. Keep an eye out!

ReplyDeleteCute! I will wear it with a red and white dress!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE Kiel James Patrick products!! Such a great brand.
ReplyDeleteI love nautical things too! I bet this would make a good diy, it doesn't look TOO difficult to make something similar!
ReplyDeleteLOVE this! I really want one!
ReplyDelete-Hannah
I have one very similar from The Vamoose, so Spring like!
ReplyDeleteadorable, want to wear for summertime!
ReplyDeletevery cute & preppy. I bought one on easy that literally fell apart the day I bought it. It was three dollars, so I guess you get what you pay for. These look well made. A summer keeper. Thanks for sharing this gem.
ReplyDeletelove kate at Endless Summer.
Adorable!!
ReplyDeletecute. reminds me of the rope bracelets I made as a child in camp. I'm not sure I'd wear one now though, as they seem childish to me, like a string friendship bracelet-- maybe because of my camp association. Also, I wouldn't purchase from KJP. I just find him pretentious. He has lovely things, but none of them are original (he even says himself, he copies from things he finds), and then he gets huffy when others have similar items. I just find him rather ridiculous. But, I do like the style and would buy similar things from others.
ReplyDeleteAdorable and so unique!

I love it for me and my hubby!

Lovely piece, i wana own it.
ReplyDeletewow! that's lovely :)
ReplyDeleteAs a designer for over 40 years the KJP team has impressed me a lot. The love they put into their work is remarkable. I'm extremely happy to work with them on a daily basis.

ReplyDeleteKiel James Patrick is no copy cat. People copy him. Kiel isn't rediculious maybe you should do further research before your make a statement to the public. Numerous company copy him and sell products that look identical.
LOVE this! It would be perfect for vacation on the Cape.
ReplyDeleteOmg so cute!!! I am purchasing one right now! Joanna you should def do a post on Frank Clegg's new Tuscany Collection for women they are to cute. I just bought the Tuscany Should Bag a few weeks ago. Wow best leather maker in the world, it smells amazing! You would enjoy reading ClassyGirlsWearPearls blog too.
ReplyDeleteJane
Absolutely love this.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful piece.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week. xx
I've done my research. I've also lived in the New England sailing community my entire life and have have seen nearly identical clothing and accessories for 40 years. As I said, I like the style, I just find the company pretentious and rather unoriginal.
ReplyDeleteany "a cup of jo" discount code for these??
ReplyDeleteLove it! I grew up near the coast and think this would be the perfect addition to my wardrobe for our trip to the Med this summer!
ReplyDeleteI have fallen in love with this bracelet. I need it!

ReplyDeleteWhat do you think about a guy wearing it? I like theses bracelets but im scared they aren't very manly lol
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Slightly less annoying (and cheaper) are the ones made by R&S Line and Anchor:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.robeandslippers.org/2012/06/brace-yourself.html
He (they?) also makes them in crown sennit: a weird nautical braid that I haven't seen the big companies do.
So stylish, The anchor hook look. I as a man find this more for women. But everybody has the own opinion.

i absolutely love this, however, HOW DO I BUY IT?!?
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely. In addition, I think that spraying the bathroom with a fresh scent also helps. It makes a bathroom feel ten times cleaner. I'm just curious, how does one become a contributor for you? :)
ReplyDeletecheap prom dresses
My dad would absolutely love this, being an old sailor that he is :) Nice design
ReplyDeleteI love the hand-crafted stuff, its simple but awesome and eye catching.
