I've always been hesitant when it comes to leopard print (too Mrs. Robinson), but recently I've spotted a few gorgeous women wearing leopard-print flats. They seem like a perfect subtle way to work a bit of sexiness into your ensemble. I'd love to wear them with regular jeans and sweaters this spring, and feel instantly womanly and alluring. What do you think? Would you wear them? Here are five cute ones: Lola, Daniblack, Loeffler Randall, Cole Haan and French Sole.

(Photos by Mr. Newton, GastroChic and Leigh)

wearing some today for the first time :) am a fan thus far! mine were very, very cheap at target.
ReplyDeleteNah, but only because I'm not a flats kind of girl. I got myself some leopard prints socks to start out slow, and then ventured into a leopard print button down shirt that I layer under sweaters and things, just letting it peek out a bit. Small doses, baby steps!
ReplyDeletehttp://nomadic-d.blogspot.com/
i wear leopard print flats probably 4 days out of 7. They go with everything!!
ReplyDeleteDo it! I have leopard print gloves and a leopard print wallet; I'm not gutsy enough to wear it in a bigger dose than that either ;-)
ReplyDeleteleopard print, like most animal prints, are definitely cute in small amounts (accessories)... anything more than that is a bit much for me.
ReplyDeleteI love leopard flats!
ReplyDeleteI wear my Tory Burch reva flats in patent leopard almost every day. Leopard is a classic print do it goes with everything! Mine are getting so worn down, I'm looking at investing in a Kate Spade pair or Jcrew. A must!
ReplyDeleteCute!
ReplyDeleteI do like it on other people but just don't think it suits me!! And I can't do flats either - cute on other people, just wrong on me!!!
ReplyDeletetry them, you'll feel sassy! to me they are classic! i have a pair and love them!
ReplyDeleteYes. I love leopard prints but in a small dose!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a DO! I think the only issue is finding the right print with the right fabric and the right style. Putting those three things together is hard. I think I've found a pair on Zappos but I'm still searching.
ReplyDeleteI have a very confy pair from Forever21, bought them in Brussels, wear them often and just love them.
ReplyDeleteI normally wear them with plain black/brown/camel sober outfit.
Do it! Just the right amount of animal print - any more and I think it loses it's classiness. Such a fun way to spice things up a little.
ReplyDeleteI also have a leopard print scarff! I like the leopard print pattern in accessories. And the rule to match it is the same for the flats: sober plain outfit
ReplyDeleteI love them and actually have a pair. Haven't worn them much because they hurt my feet, bummer!
ReplyDeleteOh definitely! I love a bit of leopard print.
ReplyDeleteSince I usually wear heels, leopard print flats are a great alternative... still sassy, but also comfy. Plus, they are an easy way to punch up basics. Go for it!! I got mine at J. Crew and love them.
ReplyDeleteI have a pair too. I consider them one of the great joys of life!
ReplyDeleteDO DO DO DO!!!! Leopard print flats are so chic! And they make any look phenomenal.
ReplyDeleteYou can take a look on how to steal the look for less on leopard print loafers: http://fashionistanygirl.blogspot.com/2011/11/steal-look-for-less-leopard-print.html
i think they are very cute xo
ReplyDeleteMy absolute fav print! I have a scarf, wedges and flats in leopard print. I feel like they instantly dress up anything you're wearing. They're playful but work appropriate :)
ReplyDeleteDo! I love em!
ReplyDeleteI love leopard flats! I fell in love with the Steve Madden Madee leopard flats this fall and wear them all the time. Definitely recommend them!
ReplyDeletehttp://hauteamericana.com/
i LOVE 'emmm(;
ReplyDeleteI recently purchased a Sam Edelman pair and my feet have never been the same. (Needless to say, I love them!)
ReplyDeleteLove the leopard flats. I feel that bold prints can easily be over-used- this is settle yet still making a statement!
ReplyDeleteTeacupsandTunics.blogspot.com
Oh yes!!! I have a pair and I love wearing them with jeans and a tee:) Btw: How adorable is that whole second outfit? Love! happy Tuesday. xo
ReplyDeleteOh I've always loved that look.
ReplyDeleteFor me they are a definite DO! I got some earlier this year and have been loving them. I feel like they make some of my otherwise simple outfits feel a little more classed up when I wear them:)
ReplyDeleteYup! They are a staple in my closet and will put a pep in your step all day long. I just included them in a style post last Thursday- paired with jeans and a black button down.
ReplyDeleteThey are fantastic! I find myself wearing them as a neutral because the print is in such a small dose. I say go for them.
ReplyDeleteI just bought a pair for $14 at Target this weekend! They are super comfy!

Yes! I rotate three pairs to avoid total destruction of them. I wear them probably every day. They are comfortable, they literally go with everyone (you can't beat a shoe that has black AND brown!) and I think they are pretty hip. I also have a pair of leopard print booties.
ReplyDeleteI thought leopard print flats were a great compromise and got a pair a few years ago at the Gap, but my husband hates them and says that no matter how subtle, leopard print screams "cougar". LOL. So they now stay in the back of my closet. Boo.
ReplyDeleteI love leopard flats!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love them. I have a pair and I wear them late March when it's a bit warmer out. They literally go with any outfit while adding a lot of sassiness to it :))
ReplyDeleteYes, do it! To me, when it comes to leopard print, it has to be more like 'accents', I have a foulard I got at H&M and I find it very stylish...Leopard print flats will style up any outfit instantly.
ReplyDeleteOn today's post, I talk about one of my favorite guilt-free reality tv shows Giuliana&Bill...Any fans out there?
Bisous!
http://cafesocietyxxi.blogspot.com/
This is a trend that's on its way out. These were popular 6-12 months ago, but now it's so overdone.
ReplyDeleteI have a cute cheap pair from K-mart and you'd be amazed how nice they are. They are even peep toe. A very sexy look with red toe nail polish. Great way to be subtly adventurous.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a DO! I used to feel the same way, but a leopard flat is such a subtle way to incorporate such a fun, sexy pattern.I pretty much consider leopard print a neutral and wear my flats with almost everything. I bought a pair for $10 at F21, so in case I didn't love them I wasn't out a ton of money. Now that I know what a staple they are in my wardrobe, I'm going to invest in some higher quality ones. Gotta love F21 for experimenting with trends! :)
ReplyDeleteI always have a pair of leopard print flats handy! Right now I have a pair from Jeffrey Campbell that I bought almost 6 years ago. Love them! I tend to treat leopard print as a neutral, I love it.
ReplyDelete~Arielle
sillymessychic.blogspot.com
i am all for leopard print flats and have been looking for the perfect pair for a while. leopard is a bit fussy. i find myself liking leopard pants, shoes and clutches (not together, of course!), but i just can't get into leopard print tops or scarves.
ReplyDeleteI have a pair I got at Banana Republic and I love them. My daughter told me that I was rocking them, so that was all the endorsement I need! ;-) They're the first animal print item I've ever owned.
ReplyDeleteTOMS has cute leopard print flats now too :)
ReplyDeleteDo! Do! Do! I have a pair from Madewell and they're hands down my favorite shoe. One thing to be aware of - if you go for furrier ones (seems weird to say, but you know what I mean), they sometimes shed a bit (so I just try and avoid stubbing my toe a lot when I wear them).
ReplyDeleteBecca
leopard flats are great! i've always wanted some but can never seem to find the right ones. i think my favorites are the cole haan!
ReplyDeletewithlovemartha.blogspot.com
Yes! I have a pair from Target from 1 or 2 years ago and I love them. They make a boring tee and jeans look so much cuter. They are also super comfy.
ReplyDeleteI love leopard. I feel like it is a neutral print and works great dressed up or down, so I say they are a YES!
ReplyDeleteI had a pair of leopard print flats I wore through and I am definitely in the market to replace them. I think they can be so chic when done well.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE my leopard print flats. Also got them from Target. They are my go-to shoes and make any outfit look cute!
ReplyDeleteDef a DO!!! :)
ReplyDeleteSo funny because I bought the Matisse leopard flats after seeing them on your blog last season :) I heart them! These leopard flats are very muted and neutral. A good place to start. Or, get the ones that are at Target right now so you don't have to make a huge investment. Leopard print flats go very well with all the colored jeans that are out and about too.
ReplyDeleteI love my leopard ballet flats. I just make sure the rest of my outfit is pretty demure to avoid looking too tacky!
ReplyDeleteSo funny you wrote about this today. I had to get rid of my favorite pair of leopard-print flats last year (bought for $10 at Payless in 2008) and have searched for a YEAR for a pair to replace them. Found such pair on Sunday at Nordstrom Rack, and I'm giddy about all the outfits I can wear them with. They totally add a pop of color and whimsy to any outfit. My favorite is to wear them with a black skirt and black tights.
ReplyDeleteThey are great and give an edge to a very basic outfit (jeans and a t-shirt). Pretty Ballerina has the best! They are too popular these days, though.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a leopard print type girl either but I love my leopard printed flats! It's a great way to add a bit of flair to a simple outfit
ReplyDeleteLeopard print flats go with almost everything. They have definitely become a favorite go to of mine.
ReplyDeletehttp://carmenmyer.blogspot.com/
LOVE! any pop of pattern or color on a shoe is a good thing. my work wardrobe stays pretty basic, so i'm always up for fun shoes to spice it up... wearing some Steve Madden ZEBRA print shoes today, and already got a few compliments on my way in the door :D
ReplyDeleteI got some leopard flats a couple of months ago, despite never wearing animal print, and I love them! only a cheap pair but I wore them all through winter- so cute and dainty!
ReplyDeleteI think they're adorable and a great way to subtly mix in a fun print. I've had my eye on a pair from Madewell and Seychelles.
ReplyDelete100% YES to the leopard flats, such a great way to jazz up a look!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a do! I love my leapord print flats!!
ReplyDelete~Sara
sarastrauss.blogspot.com
yes! leopard flats are totally a "DO"!!! :) wear 'em all year long!
ReplyDeleteOh, yes! I bought myself a pair of Kate Spade leopard print flats last fall and *adore* them. I wear them with cropped skinny pants and jeans--totally cute, especially when I'm wearing boyish/neutral pieces with them. Go for it!
ReplyDeleteHaving grown up in Africa I've never quite been able to make my peace with animal print. It's something for decoration in game lodges.
ReplyDeleteYes, love them!
ReplyDeleteA big, big do from me! They're gorgeous and versatile...I see some shoe shopping in the near future. Cannot wait for spring!
ReplyDeleteI'd say it depends on the person. My sister ROCKS them. She works as a special ed aide for two wonderful little first-graders, and so flats are her go-to shoe, and since they are close to the ground, being so little, she likes wearing spunky shoes, since the kids notice shoes and socks! :)
ReplyDeleteAs for me, I'm not an animal print sort of person, so I wouldn't wear them. I love a good ballet flat, but I generally go solid jewel tone.
I've worn mine so much! I love them, until they started stinking. What is it with ballet flats?? Oh I have to take off my shoes, excuse me while I go wash my feet! Where is your bathroom? Groan!
ReplyDeleteSo foreign to me for these not to be considered a classic? I really didn't know until recently (reading this, and another's blog a while back) that some women were on the fence about them. I think they are a staple. Try them with skinny crop jeans, and a classic black v neck. You'll be in love!
ReplyDeleteMy leopard print flats have pretty much become my new neutral; I wear them all the time!
ReplyDeleteLeopard print flats = SUCH a do
ReplyDeleteSuch an easy way to spice it up!
Xoxo
~ Adoring fan
I think maybe I'm the only one who says no!!! I'm not a huge leopard print fan, I like it in doses but some reason I just cannot get into leopard print on shoes. I think it just doesn't look right. It never really sits well with me.
ReplyDeleteI saw a girl yesterday wearing those Jeffrey Campbell (here) leopard wedges and I was just horrified. I just feel like they can't be taken seriously in the slightest (though I know you cannot approach clothes/shoes in that regard). Maybe it's just me (and it seems like it is just me seeing how everyone commented "YES!!") but I just think they're cheesy.
xx Olivia
IWANTTHESESHOES
they go with EVERYTHING. seriously. there isn't much you can't wear them with. stripes, prints, patterns, any color - you name it. buy a pair!! :)
ReplyDeleteYES!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love leopard flats, it's a quick added sexy and funkiness to any outfit. I love the picture of the rocking mamma to be!
ReplyDeleteDO!!!
ReplyDeleteI just bought some from Target, and I love them! I owned a pair a few years ago and loved them then too, so much that I wore them til they had a hole! I was so happy to find another pair at Target for cheap. (I'm on a budget!) i think they are the perfect way to add a little sass to an outfit.
ReplyDeleteActually I have Tory Burch leopard flats and I'm madly in love with them - they're such a lovely pair for fall and winter!!!! Definitely Yes!!!
ReplyDelete:)
I vote do!! I find that they are quite trendy though so I wouldn't invest a ton. I just purchased a pair from payless and I'm itching to wear them! It's too early for Spring fever...
ReplyDeleteyessssssssssss! but with plain colour clothes!
ReplyDeletekisses from Barcelona!
Definite do. I also have a pair of zebra flats that I love!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on the Mrs. Robinson thing. I would love a leopard shirt or dress, but I'm not ready to embrace it yet...
Although, tell me you don't love this play on animal print:
www.yournextdress.com/olivia-palermo-tibi-animal-print-grab/
I love leopard-print ballet flats! And I also love the look in the first picture!
ReplyDeleteIt's a do! I have a pair and it's a great way to add leopard w/o being overwhelmed. Also love a leopard belt. Wearing one now with a belted cardigan.
ReplyDeletedefinitely a DO for me. I love printed flats, they just add a cuteness factor to any outfit
ReplyDeleteA definite do! I got my pair at the Gap last summer, you can see them here: http://27passions.blogspot.com/2011/10/new-fall-staples.html
ReplyDeleteTotally do - they are such a fun, yet subtle, sas to add to a look.
ReplyDeleteMuch love,
B
Definitely a DO! I just ordered my worn-out pair's replacements last night. Even my conservative husband likes them on me and they do go with everything!
ReplyDeleteTotal yes! A friend recently got leopard heels and even those looked chic. Flats are way doable.
ReplyDeleteAlso, that is probably the coolest pregnant belly picture ever. Love the whole look!
Not for me but I love them on other people.
ReplyDeletea big DO.
ReplyDeletei just bought some leopard print loafers- wore them to the So Cal BLogger Meet-Up and they were a HIT.. so so soooooo cute! and the best part, everyone SWORE i got them at Anthro, but really, i found them for 40 bucks online! SCORE!
ReplyDeleteDo! I think shoes may be the best way to do animal prints--so subtle.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you. Leopard is risky business... If you're over a certain age or have a certain body type, it feels either too Mrs. Robinson or too Delta Burke. I'm all for the flats though. I don't like haircalf or these new slipper/loafer things that people are wearing, but on a nice, simple pair of ballets, it works.
ReplyDeleteDo! I love the subtlety of animal print on a shoe.
ReplyDeleteI bought the cole haan slipper flats this fall and they seem to go with everything! so comfortable too! I was hesitant bc I am generally not trendy. go for it!
ReplyDeleteYes, yes, yes!
ReplyDeleteI love them. Only, I've been calling mine Cheetah print, lol. But I have a pair I bought from Target, and they are one of my favorite pairs of flats that I own. I've actually been thinking about getting some more, because the pair I have now are starting to get worn out. That's how much I love them! :)
ReplyDeleteLLLLLLLLLOve the leopard print flats...I'm like that too...afraid to look too vampy in leopard print clothing, but shoes I can do! I have the most comfy pair--and they're a really cheap payless brand, but I LOVE them!
ReplyDeletemodestemusings.blogspot.com
Hi Joanna,
ReplyDeleteTotally unrelated to the leopard print flats post (which I'm a fan of by the way!)
Just wondering if you used a baby memory book for Toby's first year and if there's one in particular that you like or have heard that others like?
Thanks!
Hope they're not a don't because I just bought a cute pair of grey leopard print flats from Tom's.
ReplyDeletedo do do do! so chic!
ReplyDeleteDo! Anything animal print right now is soooooo perfect!
ReplyDeleteChar xo
www.itsacharmlife.blogspot.com
As a HUGE fan of leopard print, I wear my leopard flats all of the time! I'm very careful about only using a small amount of leopard though because I do think it can look tacky if overdone. Flats are a great to way to add a little something to an otherwise conventional outfit!
ReplyDeletei had a pair a few years ago that i wore down.. they literally go with everything! leopard flats are a must!
ReplyDeleteLeopard print flats are my "go to" shoes. I wear them with everything and i would say that i would almost consider them my "confidence" shoes.
ReplyDeleteTotally leopard flats.
ReplyDeleteI just bought the exact leopard flats on Leigh- they're from Target. I'm normally not a fan of animal print (too flashy for me) but these ones are girly and subtle and look great with a simple outfit, like a plain black v-neck and skinny jeans.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a DO! Leopard print is so fun. Plus, it always makes me feel a little bit sexier. Flats or a belt are perfect if you don't want to wear too much!
ReplyDeleteTotally! I wear mine quite often. xoxo
ReplyDeletehttp://www.hellohellofriday.com/
I love leopard flats! They are basically a nuetral for any color you want to wear. Plus they really give a stylish pop if you just wear black.
ReplyDeleteOddly enough Talbots (of all places) has great shoes with 2 leopard flats on sale!

I have the Michael Kors leopard print moccasin flats and they are the perfect way to pretty-up my uniform of jeans, jeans...and more jeans! :)
ReplyDeleteJust saw some at Target... Loving her baby bump! (She's gonna pop!!) But yes, do it. I think leopard would look so good with purples and teals, personally. But mix with black, *mwah*!
ReplyDeleteI'm a huge waffler about stuff like this, but I'm going to say...go for it! At least in a small dose.
ReplyDeleteYou should get the Repetto. That's what we, french girls, would do...
ReplyDeletehttp://www.repetto.fr/boutique/bb-cuir-effet-leopard.html?SID=ab3d7e7fda75d3cc48540284e7238bcc
YES! I just bought a pair at the end of summer and have been loving them! I love wearing all black with some leopard flats. I love love love them and so happy I finally indulged in some leopard!

Yes to Leopard flats!
ReplyDeleteCute and cheap version:

I love them!
A Do. I havent had a pair in a long time, but when I did, they are THE BEST FUN NEUTRAL SHOE - believe it or not.
ReplyDeletePatty
my blog Pretty, Grounded
I had a lovely pair I bought about four years ago and adored them. Thought they instantly chic-ified my jeans and wore them till they fell apart, literally! See a lot more in shops recently and tempted to replace though now that I see them on more people it kind of puts me off! I did love them. Ah! The vagaries of fashion.
ReplyDeleteI've always been hesitant about animal prints but now i wear them with such confidence. Just bought a pair of leopard flats this weekend and am loving them!
ReplyDeleteTarget has a cute pair of flats for $14, if you want to ease into the trend without spending a lot of money! I've had my eye on them for a couple of weeks and I'm just trying to decide what I could pair them with in my closet...
ReplyDeleteI love my leopard print flats! I just wore a hole in them actually... time for a new pair!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a must in every shoe closet - I am already looking to replace the ones I bought in August.
ReplyDeletehttp://jillfavorites.blogspot.com/
I love mine! They're great since I rarely wear anything but black, so they give my outfit a little kick.
ReplyDeletei have a pair of leopard print flats that i wear with EVERYTHING! They almost work like a neutral. I love leopard heels but they just aren't practical when I'm running all over the place.
ReplyDeleteYes to Leopard Print flats! They are alluring without being overtly sexy. And that is sexy! They make really simple outfits look totally chic.
ReplyDeleteI will if I can find the right ones. I have big feet and I have to be careful ! Some shoes that are cute small aren't that cute big : ( Also these were on Oprah's must have in your wardrobe list a few years ago : )
ReplyDeleteA resounding DO! I've been on the lookout for the perfect pair for a while.
ReplyDeletesuper chic, and i love 'em on others, but i look like a schlub in flats. my calves are too, um, hearty. too much English peasant stock in my genes, i guess.
ReplyDeleteI have a Kenneth Cole pair that are a more subtle leopard print in patent, and I love them! They feel more like a neutral shoe, while still being fun!
ReplyDeletehttp://www.zappos.com/kenneth-cole-reaction-slip-gloss-silver
I say go for it!!
I do have a pair I got on clearance at J.Crew and I love them. For my big 3-0 my husband and I went to NYC and let me spend way too much on a great pair of leopard print mohair Prada heels! IN LOVE. they go with everything - especially that little black dress.
ReplyDeleteI am guilty of having 3 pairs of leopard flats! I really like how they can dress up a casual look or just add some extra fun to an outfit!
ReplyDeletehttp://lindseyyoung.net
I'm obsessed with leopard anything (I consider it a neutral) so flats are no exception! DO!!
ReplyDeleteI love my leopard print flats. You could always get a cheap pair at Target to see if you like how they feel. I like wearing them with otherwise plain outfits- skinnies and a gray v-neck tee, for instance. That being said, my husband hates them. ; )
ReplyDeleteBig fan of leopard prints.
ReplyDeleteMost definitely a do! They're too sassy to resist!
ReplyDeleteDIG leopard print. Flats, bags, boots, cardigans... you name it. Shamelessly pair it with studs + denim and you have my daily outfit. Def more punk than Mrs. Robinson though. :)
ReplyDeletehttp://ribbonaroundabomb.com/
I have some leopard ballet flats and I LOVE THEM.
ReplyDeleteI wear a lot of blacks and grays and they add a little punch of fun to my outfits.
http://daydreaminginturquoise.blogspot.com/
I could not live without my leopard print flats. They go with everything and are just the right amount of flare! I get complements on them every single time I wear them!
ReplyDeleteI might be biased because I can't get enough leopard print, but I LOVE leopard-print flats. They're so versatile and fun and go with a surprising number of things. I couldn't live without mine. And they're subtle if you're nervous about going all out with leopard print.
ReplyDeleteAli
http://editorialistyle.blogspot.com/
I just bought a pair from target yesterday and I LOVE them. I feel like just the right amount of fancy :)
ReplyDeleteHaha...I guess I'm the rebel here. I live in zebra print flats (when I cheat on my boots)!
ReplyDeleteJust bought some Lucky leopard flats. I haven't taken them off!
ReplyDeleteI have had a pair in one for or another in my wardrobe for the last 7 years! They go with almost anything. Love the leather jacket in the first photo too!
ReplyDeleteOh! I'm so glad you said it! I've always thought animal print was "rawr!" Absolutely no offense to anyone. It's just not my personality. But lately the leopard print flats have caught my eye too. Very interesting. It's the gateway animal print :)
ReplyDeleteDO!!! DO!! DOOOOOO!!!
ReplyDeletehttp://www.everyoursevermine.blogspot.com/
DO! I love leopard print, but I think the prettiest way to wear it is to feature little touches -- like flats or a skinny belt. You don't want to be reminiscent of Scary Spice!
ReplyDeleteI would definitely wear these! :-) I love leopard print loafers!
ReplyDeleteX Mandy (MENNEPEN)
http://mandykoster.blogspot.com
I was hesitant too, but i decided I wanted to give it a try and opted for flats rather than heels since I wear flats a lot more. I've only worn them a few times, but that's more due to weather restrictions (I live in Toronto so there's a lot of gunk on the street) than having nothing with which to wear them. I'm finding that they're neutral enough not to overpower an outfit, but add just the right amount of oomph. I can't wait for spring so I can wear them more often!
ReplyDeleteLOVE them and wear them w/ everything! Go for it!
ReplyDeleteI like them but don't have any (yet). I've def gotten more into the animal print over the last couple years though. I have a pair of snake print flats from H&M that I love.
ReplyDeletedo do do!!
ReplyDeleteseriously, did anyone reply with a "don't?"
I can't get enough leopard print! scarves, jeans, sweaters!
ReplyDeleteLeopard print flats are, as far as I'm concerned, a basic. I really think they go with everything, though I'm not sure why!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a DO! They elevate any outfit. Animal print is timeless and it always looks chic!
ReplyDeletehttp://foodfashionandflow.blogspot.com/
Do.
ReplyDeleteWe LOVE leopard (when done right, that is)! Flats are a great option, but there are other ways to do it without being too 'Mrs. Robinson' outlined here:
ReplyDeletehttp://heavybrowsing.com/post/12884976429/leopard-trend-piece
Absolutely! Leopard Print shoes are fantastic, especially flats!
ReplyDeleteTotal do. They're fun.
ReplyDeleteGot mine from steve madden, love them.
ReplyDeleteDO DO DO!!!
ReplyDeleteI think it depends on the get-up. If the rest of the ensemble is dressed down, its quite okay to go wild with the shoes. Haha. That's my rule of thumb. That way the eyes all lead to the shoes! :D
ReplyDeleteI have a pair...and I love them!
ReplyDeleteYes yes yes. I recently bought a pair from the Charleston Shoe Company and I love them!
ReplyDeleteA definite DO.
ReplyDeleteDO. i've been wearing my target ones for a loong time now! they're my favorites, and i can't bear to part with them even though they're wearing out.. need to find a replacement! xo
ReplyDeleteI was afraid to, seam to me a little bit... tacky? But I wear a pair of leopard print oxfords, wich give a twist to the trend and I'm happy to use them with casual/neutral looks (:
ReplyDeletefor me, a DO! I'm looking for the perfect pair
ReplyDeleteA do.
ReplyDeleteI love mine!!
Love, Leigh
I've seen some girls who look cute in them, but I'm not really a fan. Stripes or plaid for me, please!
ReplyDeleteyes! they are one of my must have basics along with black ballet flats. they surprisingly go with everything. it sounds weird but its true!
ReplyDeletewww.the-launderette.com
Absolutely a DO! I love my leopard print heels more, but leopard flats are so much fun with straight leg jeans, oregon with cords. :)
ReplyDeleteI think it is totes cute, but in small doses. The flats are perfect.
ReplyDeleteI come in on the side of "No" for these (one of the few). I've never liked the print, and to me they're trendy rather than attractive. Garance Dore did a piece on a pair last year, and since then they've been all over the place (don't get me wrong, Garance is great, but..)! So no! :)
ReplyDeletewear what ever makes your happy :) I personally think they're cute :)

http://herumbrella.com
Wait a minute?!?! You can be too Mrs. Robinson? I had no idea?!?! ;)
ReplyDeleteI have a pair from payless that I love. They really become a neutral option in your wardrobe and I reach for them just as often as my black ballet flats.
ReplyDeleteLeopard print flats are my go to shoe choice. They act like a neutral, but so much more fun! I can wear them with brown OR black OR brown AND black. They liven up conservative outfits, excite everyday jeans and tshirts, and give me a little pep in my step.
ReplyDeleteleopard print flats are an always. my grandmother always said "leopard is a neutral, darlin'." i wear leopard flats at least 2-3 times a week.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a DO! They can spice up your casual look!
ReplyDeletei actually want to try this leopard flat/loafer trend! :P
ReplyDeletehttp://highprofilehighexpectations.blogspot.com/
I have a cheap pair from Target and wear them when I go out or want to make an outfit a bit fancier! I didn't realize when I bought them how much they actually go with -- I have definitely worn them with half of my closed!
ReplyDeleteI think for some people it is okay. I would't wear them though.
ReplyDeleteWhen I bought my pair, I didn't realize how versatile they were. I wear them with jeans and a bright sweater or black skinnies. They're my favorite.
ReplyDeleteGo for it! I have a pair and I love. :)
ReplyDeleteDiane Von Fürstenberg says that leopard print is a neutral... and I couldn't agree more! It goes with everything.
ReplyDeleteI wear mine with jeans, pencil skirts, dresses, you name it...
I love my leopard print ballet flats... They are super chic and look great with jeans and a tee or a little dress and tights for a night out with the girls :)
ReplyDeletePlease check out my blog and follow back?

I've never been able to do animal print- I agree it can look great on some people but it just doesn't work on me at all- sadly
ReplyDeleteI don't wear flats so it's not a question for me. I'd go for a belt, gloves, love to top in first picture, My mom has some leopard print earrings and a brooch from the 60's. Hey what's wrong with Mrs. Robinson?
ReplyDeleteI love all kind of clothes with leopard prints in it! They are gorgeous and match to every season...
ReplyDeleteThis is an interesting topic. I wore leopard print clothing when I was in my early twenties, a vintage leopard fur jacket with bright red lipstick, and it looked cute and artsy. But since then, no way. I find it aging and gaudy, i.e. zsa zsa gabor and ivana trump. Absolutely no offense to anyone, this is just me. I am sure some women could pull it off, but I can't.
ReplyDeleteI say "yes" - go for it! I have been thinking of getting some leopard flats for a little while now. I love the fact that they go with everything and can add a twist to an otherwise plain outfit.
ReplyDeleteI say yes, yes, yes! Lovin' leopard flats :)
