This is the best post! My boyfriend always asks me, "Are you h-angry?" It's a combination of hungry and angry. I am definitely sharing this card with him.
UH This is soooo me! I actually forwarded your post to my husband, because he makes fun of me! He literally keeps granola bars on him at all times, and gives them to me if I start getting nasty!
My boyfriend is very used to this situation. I actually have a cave called the 'Grumpy Cave' which I apparently retreat to when I'm hungry, tired or confused. It often takes two cups of coffee and some chocolate to coax me out again.
I know the feeling... We're getting for Atlanta Gift Mart, and a week filled with drinks and great dinners. Trying to be a slight eater 'til then really sucks!!!
I am so guilty of this. My husband and I were friends for 8 years before we became a couple. One of his earliest memories of me is me snapping at him while we were going to get lunch and see a movie with a group of friends and he was wanted to stop and look in a store before lunch.
Ha! This is definitely on one of my pin boards on Pinterst! http://pinterest.com/thatislovely/ I call it being "hangry" when I get to that point...also on Pinterest.
Every time I go back on Paleo, the first four or so days are just a blur of sugar/carb/starch withdrawals and I can get very "hangry". Haha. Good thing I have such a patient husband. I've been known to cry about cheese.
I actually had a teacher ask me if i was hangry once after class in high school. supposedly she had noticed that whenever I had class before lunch, I was not the nicest student lol.
I'm definitely guilty of this! I once dumped a boyfriend because I was hungry and he was getting in the way of my eating. No joke. Ok there were other problems too, but that was the last straw ; )
I need a stack of actual notecards like this. Now that I think I it,so does my husband. Now that I really think about it, I think this tendency runs strong in my five year old...guess it isn't always her fault when she melts down:)
I have a whole blog devoted to fighting hangrrr! Also a Facebook page, the world must be warned that we are on the rampage but don't MEAN it ;P http://sasasunakku.com/fight-hangrrr/
I live in Manhattan with my husband and toddler son. Here's my portfolio website with magazine writing and branding work. For two years, I was the relationships blogger for Glamour Magazine, and now I blog for Conde Nast Traveler, as well. Follow me on Twitter or Pinterest. Please feel free to email me (hellojoannagoddard at gmail) if you'd like to advertise on Cup of Jo.
A Cup of Jo is a for-profit blog that I work on full-time to help support my family. A Cup of Jo features banner advertisements and sometimes includes affiliate links within certain posts. Affiliate links mean that we may make a small commission if a product is purchased through the blog. Of course, a reader would never pay more for a product; it's a branding relationship directly between the brand and me. A Cup of Jo posts only feature products I genuinely recommend and use for myself and my family, and are not influenced or pitched to me by advertisers. I very rarely do sponsored posts (maybe a few times a year); and if I do, I will mark it very clearly. I sometimes feature my sponsors' products within round-ups, link lists or gift guides, but only when it's a natural, organic fit and only when I would have included them even if they weren't sponsors; please know that this editorial inclusion is NOT paid for. Please feel free to email me at hellojoannagoddard (at) gmail (dot) com if you have any questions. After more than five years of blogging, I feel truly connected with my readers, and my relationship and trust with these incredible women is my absolute top priority.

My boyfriend is the worst about this! He gets so darn cranky if he hasn't eaten.
I was just getting a blog post ready for today with this in it! Le sigh. But so true and so funny :)
I am awful about being mean and driving fast when I'm hangry!
Haha whenever I'm snippy my boyfriend says, "Can you go eat something please?"
I love this! That would be my sister. She's scary when she gets hungry!
Have a fabulous weekend!

Ha! You mean the moments where you get "Hangry"? Ahhh, yes. I need this close by for emergency apologies.
My boyfriend is very used to this situation. I actually have a cave called the 'Grumpy Cave' which I apparently retreat to when I'm hungry, tired or confused. It often takes two cups of coffee and some chocolate to coax me out again.
He is a brave man.
I know the feeling... We're getting for Atlanta Gift Mart, and a week filled with drinks and great dinners. Trying to be a slight eater 'til then really sucks!!!

I'm hypoglycemic, so I am guilty of this multiple times a week. My fiance knows when I go into hunger-mode... Grab me a Larabar fast! Haha

Hilarious! My sister, best friend and I are all guilty of this, sometimes at the same time. The solution? Purse snacks.
I am a disaster when I am hungry! and hungry + tired is just the worst.

Oh no. I do that too :O(

If I get crabby, the first thing my boyfriend says is.. "are you hungry or something?"
Too funny.
haha!--My friends and I totally thought we made up "hangry." I guess we're not the only ones!

I just dealt with that an hour ago! But then I made a green smoothie and I'm happy again.
This is hilarious. I am so guilty of this.

i'll have to print this out and make it into hand outs :-)
That has me written all over it!
When I get like that, my fiance says I'm "hangry".
so true!!!
I actually had a teacher ask me if i was hangry once after class in high school. supposedly she had noticed that whenever I had class before lunch, I was not the nicest student lol.
I totally relate to this. I don't get grumpy when I'm tired; I get grumpy when I'm hungry.
Haha. Great card : )
i better have some lunch before i get "hangry" :)
all the time, being hungry makes me and my kids do and say bad things;-)
ha! just yesterday my 3yo asked me if I was grumpy because I was hungry, she knows!
I am definitely guilty of the hanger!
Ha ha! This happens to me if I wait to long to eat.
I'm definitely guilty of this! I once dumped a boyfriend because I was hungry and he was getting in the way of my eating. No joke.
Ok there were other problems too, but that was the last straw ; )
Guilty as charged! =x

This describes every guy in my family.

I'm on day 6 of a cleanse. I need this stapled to my forehead.
