Striped sheets
I've never been one of those people who is obsessed with their bed (despite my best efforts!), but we just got these striped sheets for our bed, plus a striped crib sheet for Toby, and now I'm one step closer. They make our beds feel crisp and lovely. What kind of sheets are on your bed right now?

Those sheets look heavenly, reminds me of a spa and hotel suite. My bed is a hot mess but one day I'll get it together and buy a matching bed set
how cute! I love the stripes. Mine are just plain in a fuchsia color. I need some softer sheets, but I want a king size bed soon so I hate to buy sheets for this one just now :) Maybe 2012 will be the year I get a king size! haha
Striped sheets give off such a clean, crisp vibe.. Those sheets look wonderful! I've been trying to craft our bed into something that is fun to look at and fun to sleep in and I think that striped sheets just might do the trick. Love the navy and white!

I'm currently sleeping on the ink stained sheets that came with my bed set (that's what I get for not washing whites with whites, I guess)... but I'm drooling over the Belgian Linen ones at Restoration Hardware-- yum!! Someday... :)

i am in love with sheets and anything to do with the bed, it's my version of heaven on earth....
I'm the same way. No matter how many pretty bedroom pins I have on Pinterest, the bedroom will always be last on my list of decor priorities. (What, you don't have that list?) Although I do love our grey flannel sheets, they're just basic ones from Target. Your stripes are pretty though!

Husband & I got monogrammed LL Bean sheets for Christmas. We also have a set of their flannel sheets that are amazing!!
My daughter's crib actually has striped sheets. Not sure if she thinks it's romantic, but she seems to like it. I actually like it too.

You'll never believe this, but my mom swore up and down to me that Costco sheets are just as nice as a $500 set she bought from Frette, so I tried them out -- and they are AMAZING. The most comfortable, crisp yet cozy sheets I've ever had. I can't recommend them enough!

so cute! I have a mix of blue floral sheets from ralph lauren (ages ago) and embroidered white-on-white sheets from lily pulitzer for garnet hill. but i'm looking for some flannel sheets- my bedroom gets freeeezing (i mean 'wearing smart wool socks to bed freezing') in winter!
White sheets. Last year I donated (or had to toss) some old sets of mixed up sheets. I replaced w/3 sets of white sheets. I kept many sets of colorful pillowcases, though.
Simplified so much. I like the stripes but I like even more looking into an organized linen closet...the only place that is organized in this entire apt. (Shriek of dismay)

I do have a wonderful set of flannel sheets & matching duvet cover a friend gave me. It's from The Company Store (or it's from Garnet Hill but made by The Company Store). Really, really good quality. Makes huge difference. It's actually too hot to have the sheets & the duvet cover on at the same time & I have a similar bedroom to yours. Good luck!
I have bright green sheets on right now, which I love during the summer but in the winter I wish I had something in pale or neutral colors..

I love those sheets, like a fresh breeze! I personally had several phases with different sheets. Actually, I love the Laura Ashley style with lots of lovely flowers and white linen with lace and embroidery of my grandmothers. With the relationships then, the strips came (men look kind of silly in flowerly bedding, don't you think so?) Due to my little sweetygirl, I used to sleep in princesses, unicorns and fairies! Love it in some way (I guess, I look kind of silly in those)!
I usually do a plain white or tan set - these are cute!
I was just debating a yellow and white striped sheet purchase! I might have to do it! We actually got a big fluffy down comforter a few years ago because my husband wanted "a movie bed" we are always trying to get that big fluffy cozy bed they always seem to have in the movies : )

I'll admit it. I'm a bedding junkie, nothing better than clean crisp linens that match the mood and time of year. Currently we are in a light gray flannel mood with a light green and evergreen flannels mixed in.

I used to have brown striped sheets when I was a kid. I loved them to bits, and was sad when I couldn't use them after I upgraded mattress sizes. I am currently using flannel sheets on my bed.
I've got a great basic blue Tommy Hilfiger set of sheets for my lofted dorm bed & cozy flannels at home. The blue sheets are not too manly. They are dainty. Reminds me of blue china sets.
The crib sheet looks adorable. I have a 3 month old grandson and may just have to try these on his crib...love!!
These are lovely. I have black satin sheets. They keep me cool during the summer time, but they're extra comfy to curl up in during the winter time as well.

these look so pretty! My bed has nothing special in the sheet line, but I just got a new comforter and memory foam mattress pad, so it feels great!
Those sheets look really crisp and clean; I especially love the matching crib sheet! I have my eye on a Jack Wills striped bedding and this has convinced me just a little bit more to purchase it.
At the moment we have cosy, soft flannel sheets & a big striped duvet by Toast...too good to get out of on a cold winters day!

Oh, and I'm not really a bed person either, even though I try to be. But I love my bed because it's the metal bed frame that my parents bought at the Salvation Army when they first moved in together in their (very) early twenties. It's painted dark brown and has a pretty cream coloured flower detail stenciled onto the middle panel that my mom refinished when they first bought it.
Our sheets are so cheap, from IKEA and over a year old. A little embarrassing...
My in-laws gave us some bamboo sheets for Christmas! I can't wait to get home and try them out. They are so soft :)
nice. you can't go wrong with stripes! we have grey t-shirt sheets on the bed at the moment. my husband is car-azy about them and i like that they are warm in winter.
I just bought a beautiful new quilt cover for my bed and it changes the entire look and feel of the room! Which makes you feel fab and is just what you need sometimes - something nice and fresh and new!

Clean sheets are my favorite thing ever. We have 3 sets of sheets now, cream, light blue and chocolate brown. They are all really nice and soft. :)

I would love to have some pretty patterned sheets, but my hubby tends to object to anything too feminine. I'll have to look into stripes - he just might go for these!

Lovely sheets. Stripes for everything!! We have pretty grey sheets that coordinate with a white & grey Ikea duvet cover. I was so happy because it looked elegant, but turns out the sheets are THE WORST and pilled up right away (despite their "designer cred"). Need to know how to buy good sheets w/o having to break the bank...
at the moment I have microfleece sheets...I love them. They are warm and feel like I'm sleeping inside my favorite sweatshirt. In the warmer months I switch to crisp white Egyptian cotton.
I have flannel sheets on the bed right now. Colorado winters are downright chilly!!!

I looove sheets from West Elm. I actually just got their gray+white striped sheets tonight, along with a pair of teal seersucker sheets. In my opinion, you can never have too many sets of sheets. Especially when they're striped!
i love stripes! my bedsheets are like a caramel-y custard color on one side and then deep brown on the other. they make me feel extra homey whenever i'm snuggling up in them.

Tehe, I never used to make my bed until we were given a beautiful, crisp duvet cover. It has a vintage-style floral design on one side and very satisfying pastel stripes on the the other, now I love making my bed, folding it over at the top so I get to see both designs before I crawl into it! Loving these stripes, very fresh :) Hx

@ Mary - the yellow striped sheets that Iris has in The Holiday I think are by Cologne and Cotton (a UK brand) in 'Woven Candy Stripe' - they do a choice of Pink, Duck Egg blue and Yellow. Absolutely gorgeous!
I mainly go for pure white but with a bit of texture - I always feel so fresh when I get into fresh white sheets!
Mmm I LOVE fresh, crisp sheets, and everything about those strips say "fresh" and "crisp." My apartment has been so cold lately, however, that I've actually been sleeping between some very old flannels. It's like my whole bed is made of pajamas, ha.
This post reminded me how toasty warm New York apartments can be in winter. I envy your radiators! We're wrapped up in flannel at the moment in Ohio; I chose charcoal gray flannel sheets because I love anything gray and the charcoal suggests even more warmth. It makes all the difference to have the right sheets; I think it makes for better dreams.

My husband and I sleep on Calvin Klein combed cotton sheets in dark slate, with a super warm duvet even though we live in California. I ❤our bed & your blog!!

Right now my sheets are stripped too! It's the Oxford collection by Ralph Lauren in lavender/white. It's like sleeping in my husband's shirts, they are really comfy. And Made in Portugal as a bonus!
Striped sheets and duvet covers are on the scratcher right now! It's so cold out but if feels like summer on the cape in my bedroom!
