That's one of the few photos I've seen of Diana look happy and affectionate with Charles. It seemed like she became such a different person after the divorce and was finally coming into her own when she died.

Woah! Like everyone else I am surprised about Cher and Tom Cruise! An interesting match for sure! Beautiful picture of Reese, Ryan and babe, so bittersweet.
I didn't know about ANY of these couples except Charles and Diana. And they went to my favorite country ever for their honeymoon. Such a beautiful place.
Oh, Princess Diana is such a timeless beauty. There is definitely a hint of melancholy about all of these photos now.
reese and ryan make me sad, not sure why. they were just too young when they got together i think.
and i agree with the other commenter that said she was pretty sure diana and charles were never in love.

I hear you guys about Cher and Tom! Who knew they even dated (though they are both clearly so insane that it might just make sense) I'm actually really sad about Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke... they seemed like such a great couple. Ah well.....

I remember Reese once being quoted in an interview as saying she hoped she and Ryan would be like Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward. Sort of bittersweet to see what happened, but glad she's found happiness again. Actually, maybe that's the lesson since we all have and remember old loves with poignancy?

ah, Diana. She really was such an incredibly beautiful woman, wasn't she? I remember what a bolt out of the blue she was. Love seeing photos from the early years, however quiet she was/hadn't found herself yet. It's so sad she died so young; I wish she'd lived to see her son's wedding.
