the only thing i'd wonder is if it's safe -- all those wireless signals! still, it's so romantic :)
ReplyDeleteNow there's a concept! What will they thing of next?!
ReplyDeletebut if its a loooong distance relationship.. they probably wont be going to sleep at the same time due to the time difference isnt it?
ReplyDeleteCan this be real? I wish I'd had this for the last 2 years... So cute and romantic!
ReplyDeleteOh my. SO romantic. I'm going to admit that it makes me a little gooey inside just thinking about it!
ReplyDeletewhat the what?!!! maybe I love this idea :)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! This is amazing!! Love it - I mean it doesn't make it totally easier, but it would help.
ReplyDeleteMuch love,
B
I want to be a bitter old hag about this (probably one too many long distance relationships on my end), but this even melts my heart. How sweet.
ReplyDeleteThis is the sweetest and yet weirdest thing I've ever seen. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHaha - so bizarre. I'm in a long distance relationship and I'm not quite sure how I'd feel about sleeping on a glowing pillow.
ReplyDeletei need one!
ReplyDeleteAww that made me tear up! I'm in a long distance relationship and I would love this. Because hugging a regular pillow doesn't always work! :-) If I sprayed his cologne on it, I'd be in heaven.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a crazy invention! Would love to try it out...
ReplyDeletesuch a wonderful idea. My boyfriend is gone for a month at a time, for work, and we have no contact with one another. Wonder how it would work for time changes?
ReplyDeleteif i wasn't married to my long distance then i would be asking for this for christmas! although my distance was China to US, so it wouldn't have worked as well for us!
ReplyDeleteOMG! I would have loved to have one of these when my boyfriend and I were long distance. How sweet.
ReplyDeleteI really like the concept of it but at the same time it's slightly weird. haha.

Is it awful that I laughed at this? I get that it could mean a lot when you're in a long distance relationship though.
ReplyDeleteHalf creepy, half adorable!! I did long distance for a long time, and this would have been nice!
ReplyDeletehttp://swoonhunting.blogspot.com
Romantic but a little strange and that glow would get to me. Also after a while I'd probably not want the real thing. LOL.
ReplyDeleteWOW!!! Is this sweet...or is technology getting scary!!...WOW! I'm not gonna be the judge. My love isn't far away! :-]
ReplyDeleteStrange, but romantic. I wonder about safety of these pillows..
ReplyDeleteWow-
ReplyDeleteSomeone had a great idea!
Teresa
xoxo
That's really sweet!:)
ReplyDeleteSorry, creeps me out.
ReplyDeleteWow! Sounds sweet, but also a little like something from a sci-fi movie.
ReplyDeleteoh god, i want them:)they have to be so soft....:)
ReplyDeleteinveiglefair.blogspot.com
Whaaatt??! What a crazy wonderful idea!
ReplyDeletethat's SUPER sweet...but i'm not sure how i feel about the heart beating. i think it would keep me up! :)
ReplyDeletemarissa @ the boot
What a brilliant idea! My husband and I used to date cross country when we met. I lived in San Diego and he in NYC. Then we lived together in NYC for 5 yrs and SD for 3. We recently moved back to NY but I travel back to SD every other 2 weeks for my business. These pillows would be great to have in our situation. :)
ReplyDeleteSweet and heart wrenching at the same time... I think it would make me miss my guy even more.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't this be amazing for our soldiers...I would have loved this when my husband was in Iraq. I already hugged his pillow everynight and sent him a pillow case with my face one it. But this, this would have been like giving him a hug everynight.
ReplyDeleteswoon! that is so sweet/sad. I would definitely miss my boyfriend ten times more, but knowing you're both thinking about each other at the same time would be so nice.
ReplyDeleteI find this both hilarious and kind of creepy.
ReplyDeleteCute! Unfortunately I could see it making people crazy - nothing could make long distance more stressful than keeping tabs on when their partner is getting home/to bed!
ReplyDeleteBut what if the pillow didn't light up one night... then you would know that they didn't make it home. Then you're up all night long worried/pissed.
ReplyDeleteso cute and romantic (at first), but i can definitely see some issues that might develop...haha!
ReplyDeletenot the intent at all, but that's life!

In spite of the fact that the whole concept is kind of weird, my heart melted a little watching that video and my eyes get a little teary. I'm such a sap. Long distance relationships are hard! I'm so glad that phase of my life is over :)
ReplyDeleteOk, so I'm a party pooper. I think it's very strange. I wouldn't be able to sleep for laughing.
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Courtney
Oh my goodness...I'm slightly embarrassed but I teared up a little while watching that clip! haha! Also...the girl looks so familiar! I think she might have played 'Dawn' (Pam's character) in the original BBC series "The Office".
ReplyDeleteBubbs...
www.paris-on-my-mind.blogspot.com
aww this is just so cute.
ReplyDeleteI've always said I'd never do long-distance relationships (I know, never say never..), but if I ever tried, this would be so cool to have!
(unless it keeps beating all night and I can't sleep haha)
Nice one
xoxo
Rebecca
I love this -- thank you, technology!
ReplyDeleteWhat!!!??? That is absolutely adorable!!

ReplyDeleteMy goodness, this is amazing! When my husband and I were engaged, and across the Atlantic from each other, his parents got us pillows with each other's photo on them. I loved it!
ReplyDeletehow romantic!! though i agree with you, i would wonder about any health risks with all of those wires and sensors!
ReplyDeleteAwww the concept is really sweet! We did the LD thing from England to Texas so my pillow might have glowed a bit early! ha!
ReplyDeleteawww what a sweet concept.
ReplyDeleteIs that for real?! That's pretty cool, really.
ReplyDeletewhat a great idea! I was in a long distance relationship for over a year and I would have loved to have this pillow.
ReplyDeleteThis is unbelievable! So cool.
ReplyDeleteIf my husband and I had this while he was on tour, I don't know if we would be married today. I can imagine sitting there at 4am waiting for that d*mn pillow to light up.
ReplyDeleteThis is very romantic but my bf works super late at night and I think it would stress me out knowing he wasn't resting! I do sleepy with one of his t-shirts as a pillow case, though. Makes me feel like he's still close by.
ReplyDeleteIt's a cute idea, but I think the sound of the heart beat would keep me up!
ReplyDeletereally? i think its one of the most disturbing things i've seen in a long time. no offense meant to anyone, its just my opinion.
ReplyDeleteSo romantic! It would be even sweeter if you could get the pillow to smell like the person too. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteCreepy product, creepy video, creepy couple. But whatever floats your boat!
ReplyDeleteHmmm. Not sure i can get on board- I think it might creep me out to hear a disembodied heart beat!
ReplyDeleteI do like the light up factor (like a gloworm, remember those?!) BUT agree with the commenter above that waiting for your pillow to light up might drive a girl crazy.
I saw this a few weeks ago and secretly thought it was so precious {everyone around me was hollering about how creepy it was}. I agree with you, I think it's romantic
ReplyDeleteHow sweet! My boyfriend and I are 10,000 miles apart (I'm in the U.S. and he is in Australia). I would love this--even though we sleep at opposite times of the day. Luckily, I will be returning to Oz soon, to be with him.
ReplyDeletevery cute idea-but i wonder how close you need to be...
ReplyDeletenatalie, that's hilarious. it would be so great for soldiers--except for the time change!
ReplyDeleteI think that this is partly weird but mostly problematic. Feels rather Big Brother-ish.
ReplyDeleteI love this!!
ReplyDeleteSo cool and so creepy all rolled into one!
ReplyDeleteYuck, yuck, yuck and oh yes, yuck. Completely creepy!
ReplyDelete'Where were you last night??? My pillow didn't start glowing till 3am!!!!'
I am fascinated!
ReplyDeletewow, I'm in a long distance relationship and I got all teary thinking about how sweet this is. Probably not for every couple (obv a few commenters have trust issues), but would be awesome for us to feel closer to each other!
ReplyDeleteSuper creepy, yet, super awesome.
ReplyDeleteAw, this is such a cute idea! I'm in a long distance relationship and I have to tell my boyfriend about this! Thankfully for us, we live in the same time zone so we go to sleep around the same time too.
ReplyDeleteHmm. I think they should market this to military spouses. As one I'd love to have this! Even though my husband is in a different time zone right now I still go to bed close enough to his bed time. I wonder if that light would wake me Up though. ?
ReplyDeleteThat's adorable.
ReplyDeleteLOVE LOVE LOVE this idea. I want one!!! It'd be great for when my hubby goes off hunting for weeks at a time!
ReplyDeletethats so cute! :)
ReplyDeletehttp://girlynote.blogspot.com/
i wish i had had this when boyfriend and i were long distance! love it!
ReplyDeleteLong distance is the pits. This idea kind of seems a little sad-ish... like the person would feel more lonely in loco partner? Is it just me?
ReplyDeleteI want one. My honey is deploying again in a year and I can't stand the idea of sleeping without him next to me!
ReplyDeleteReally? Haha, I think this would drive me crazy! I have to cover my alarm clock to fall asleep, so a glowing pillow would just be irritating for me. And I don't recall hearing my partner's heartbeat when we sleep together, I don't use him as a pillow... The idea itself is adorable, but I would never want to use one of these. As much as I wanted my partner around when we spent 5 months long distance, I kind of liked having a big bed to myself!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had know about these when my boyfriend and I were long-distance from California to Kentucky!
ReplyDeleteNow we're happily down the street from each other :)
This is an adorable idea, but... I don't think I could sleep well. It would remind me too much of "The Tell-tale heart."
ReplyDeleteI am not even in a long-distance relationship and this made me tear up. So sweet! Although, knowing me I would probably stay up too late waiting for my sweetie to go to bed. Not out of mis-trust, but just because I wanted to feel like he was with me.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a amazing idea! Even though we got 7 hours time difference and we aren't going to sleep at the same time, I would love to have such pillows :)
ReplyDeleteor maybe a miniture thing to put on my desk... :)
not sure about this one. did make me giggle, though.
ReplyDeleteooooh! it's so romantic!...but that's a pity that I haven't got a boyfriend...:(
ReplyDeletehttp://hipybags.blogspot.com
Oh, man! They should have invented this a few years ago, before I came to the States to marry my American man, haha. We had a long distance relationship for 3 years and 3 months! We saw each other 3 times (a total of 30 days) before we got married :p.
ReplyDeleteEqual parts bizarre and incredibly romantic. So much for telepathy between couples!
ReplyDeleteThat is crazy awesome!!!
ReplyDelete-Sarah
http://agirlintransit.blogspot.com
how sweet!
ReplyDeleteThis is so sweet. If we were still long distance I would jump at this.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Mai-ke: Maybe a little light up ball on your desk when one person with the ring touches it, the other far away glows and lets their faraway love know they're being thought of.
Just started crying over this. My 5-year long distance relationship ended in March and I'm still so sad about it. This is just the sweetest.
ReplyDeleteI'm in a long distance relationship and I think I might be too embarassed to suggest this to him haha. I like it instead that he just texts me goodnight and I love you right before he goes to bed every night :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, watch the trailer for "like crazy", it looks like a really cute/sad movie about long distance relationships
What an incredible gift for all of the military wives. Anyone who could be disturbed by this clearly hasn't said goodbye to her husband for a year. Even if the pillow began to glow when I was getting ready for work- it would be such a gift to have that peace of mind.
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet, I got all teary-eyed and my husband's sitting right here next to me! Guess all those years of long distance made me a little sensitive. Love the idea.
ReplyDeletehttp://nomadic-d.blogspot.com/
Welp, this is the sweetest & most romantic idea ever. I'm about eight and a half months away from marrying my sweetheart who lives a couple hours away. Not the longest long-distance relationship, but I do miss him. I would love to cuddle up with a glowing pillow (:
ReplyDeleteThis is incredibly sweet!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had one of those when I was in a long distance relationship.
For the first ten years of our relationship my boyfriend and now husband was in a band. When he was touring in Europe we wouldn't see each for months and this was before international cellphones! These would have been great! Although, not sure if he'd be able to pull it off in front of the other dudes in the band. He would have to make up a macho lie about why his pillow was glowing and beating :)
ReplyDeleteI wish someone would have came up with this 4 years sooner! SUCH a cute idea, hope it goes up for sale soon so I can purchase!
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh that is SO sweet and if both people are romantics I'm sure it'd totally be a hit.....but I can also see it possibly causing some "why is it so late and you're still not in bed?" drama lol :)
ReplyDeleteI can't stop laughing! Seriously, it's really some kind of lo jack for your lover, right? How could you ever fall asleep if his pillow never lit up? First I'd be mad, then scared that he was in a car accident then I'd go crazy thinking he was having an affair.
ReplyDeleteSilly pillow but thanks for sharing!
2 pillow talk, please! :)
ReplyDeletelove it...
how awesome is that! i think though i would constantly stay away staring at the pillow wondering about my other if the heart was too fast, too slow. but then thats the overthinker in me. :)
ReplyDeleteoh, i love this idea. my husband and i have been living apart for a year - and we've only been married for a year too! this week is our last week apart, we're moving 8000 km to be together (the removalists are here now!) but this is such a beautiful idea. it would just help to feel close to each other while you sleep, which is one of the loneliest times when you are apart! this make my heart warm :)
ReplyDeleteThis is so sweet!! ahh!!xo http://hannahalehandra.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteas someone thats been in a long distance relationship this is a genius idea.. super cheesy but great
ReplyDeletelove it

Gahh!!! I love it :)!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool!
ReplyDeleteThis made me want to cry! My guy and I were 3,000 miles apart for 6 months...would have loved a pair of those pillows back then. I stole his favorite sweatshirt to sleep with every night. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI am really interested in what you wrote here. I hope you give me more interesting topics to read on.

ReplyDeletexx, kara
So sweet!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing :)
That's crazy. Does it work for ALL long distance relationships? Like overseas? Or just across the nation?? And it's wireless, like internet status?? Sounds interesting..
ReplyDeleteromantic and really one of a kind!
ReplyDelete(safe?)
I highly doubt it would work for ALL. unless this thing has a satellite phone and a billed everything minute it wouldn't work for us LOL (He's at sea! no cell service in the middle of the ocean)
ReplyDeletemaybe 17 years being a Navy wife has made me think it's a bit too much if you are still safe and likely in the same country.
I don't think I could have handled this while my husband was on tour. He worked nights, so he really was in bed while I was, but I would have gotten no sleep. I would have missed him so much more.
ReplyDeleteWhat if he or she isnt in bed sleeping when the should be? i predict long distance problems lol
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute
ReplyDeletewow i need one of those!
ReplyDeleteWow, I need me one!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteomg! We were LD for years and now we're married (yay!), but I kinda want to send him away for one night just so we can try these :)

ReplyDeleteOh my lord I want one, that would make it do much easier to fall asleep if I could hear my boyfriends heart beat, it's always so easy to fall asleep on his chest! Where do I get one?!?
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how you make that pillow for the long-distance relationship couples. I wish I had one so that I could also feel the heart beat of my beloved partner.

This would be nice for deployments! So that even when you can't talk, you'll always know he's safe. I wonder how far away it works though...

ReplyDeleteI want one so bad does anyone know where to get it or price?
ReplyDeleteHahaha I can't help think of all the bad things that could come from this lover lo-jack. "My pillow didn't glow last night? Where were you?!" Or what if one night...you heard multiple heart beats coming from your pillow?
ReplyDeleteIll be buying this if my husband deploys! Every military couple should have this <3
ReplyDeletewhere do you get this!!!
ReplyDeleteYour blogs and accumulation attracts me to arrive rearward again n again.
ReplyDeleteIASug Tips And Tricks

Memory foam mattress pads
I would surely give 10 on 10 for such incredible content.
ReplyDeleteRelationships by Cowi's Bi
This is a great idea, my husband was deployed for a year and this would have helped with the lonely nights and the days/weeks of no communication. I think they should give this to all deployed soldiers significant others.
ReplyDelete
