What are you doing this weekend? Alex has been working like a dog this week (he's actually still at the office), so I'm excited to get him back in my clutches. Also, our dear friends are moving to New Jersey and having a goodbye party (sniff), but the silver lining is that Toby and I get to bake a cake for them! Hope you have a good one, and here are a few fun posts from around the web...Yes! It's time for pumpkin pudding.
NASA's flicker set.
Lauren Bush's wedding dress.
Perfect party shoes.
Thanksgiving croissants? Intense!
Funny (and fake) Royal Wedding photos.
Great 70th birthday gift.
A delicious winter meal.
Wouldn't you love these wedding flowers?
What a cutie!
Lovely vintage photos.
And a random tip: Emersonmade grey jeans are seriously the best jeans I've ever had. So flattering. I'd highly recommend them.
Have a good one! xoxo

ReplyDeleteWoah Thanksgiving crossants, that might have to happen. Thanks for the links, happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteI'm teaching a retro dinner party cooking class tomorrow night, which I'm super excited about. I've got my outfit picked out, my hair in curlers, and put together the most amazing playlist. It's going to be such a great class...I can't wait! Also I LOVE LOVE LOVE those pictures of Gene Kelly. I find him so sexy.
ReplyDeletethe flowers by Amy Merrick are so striking. I especially love the soft, almost white, cool pink that fades into magenta!
ReplyDeleteAnd the vintage photos always remind me that in retrospect everyone looks glamorous. Makes me a little less critical of photos from my bad-side.
Lauren Bush - her dress. their engagement shots. Wow.
ReplyDeleteGene Kelly - le sigh. I've always loved that scar of his.

ReplyDeleteI love the look of Emerson Made jeans - I'm going to have to find a way to try some on - so simple and clean looking. Lauren Bush's dress is lovely, but I can't help thinking the wedding pics look a bit like those old west photos you get taken in tourist towns - a little too vintage for my taste!
ReplyDeleteHave a happy weekend! =)

Gene Kelly?! He looks so much like Jean Dujardin (http://arras-france.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/jean-dujardin.jpg), whose movie The Artist is fantastic, by the way!

Love those photographs of Mr. Kelly! :) Have a lovely weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love vintage photos too! These are great. Thanks for sharing. And in response to your previous post about orange lipstick, I suggest trying a gloss tone first, it's a great way to get the color without the overdone look. :)

Why doesn't Emersonmade shoot photos where one can actually TELL what the jeans looks like. Sorry, but that's annoying.
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures of Gene Kelly. This was a great beginning of my week. Thank you regards jürgen
ReplyDelete♥ Lauren Bush's pictures and dress!
ReplyDeleteHello, I wanted to let you know that I feel somewhat suspicious when you plug your sponsors in your blog and am curious if you get paid for these. Emersonmade here and Pinhole Press again and again. Is it part of the advertising agreement? I would love some transparency on this! You have great sponsors and maybe you just love them, but it sometimes feels a bit like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=BhIIPbO_6xg
