Do you wear glasses? I love the big nerdy glasses look, but I lost my beloved pair a few months ago. I wanted to buy a new inexpensive pair online, but, to be honest, I dragged my feet because I worried that if I couldn't try them on, they wouldn't look good on me. But then a reader, MacKenna, sent this photo of her wearing Lookmatic glasses. How adorable is she?!Inspired, I chose a cute pair, tried them on virtually, and voila. My awesome new glasses were $95, prescription included. I'm psyched by how well (and quickly) it worked out. I'd highly recommend it!

(Top photo by MacKenna; photos by our photographer/babysitter Sophie:) Glasses are the Woody, my shirt is Madewell and gray jeans are Emerson Fry.)

question re: emersonmade pants: are you tall or did you have them altered? if altered, did they turn out nice?
ReplyDeleteAww..you look so adorable, Joanna!
ReplyDeleteJoanna, how do you try glasses on virtually?
ReplyDeletecute! i've been hearing great things about spex club. love your glasses, i'm a tortoise shell kinda girl too!
ReplyDeleteanonymous, i didn't have them altered. i'm 5'6" and a quarter! :) they are a great length on me -- i can wear them with flats, sneakers or low heels, and sometimes i roll them once at the bottom just to be hip, haha.
ReplyDeletejenny, you can upload a photo of yourself! then you can put the glasses on your face in the photo:) it's actually pretty awesome/hilarious.
ReplyDeleteLOVE your new glasses! I need a new pair and have wanting to get a big, nerdy looking pair :) well, used to be nerdy. now big glasses are cool again! :)
ReplyDeleteOh yes, so you can. Missed that! Cheers :)
ReplyDeleteYou look gorgeous! So glad you look the plunge!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful frames, and the price? "say no more" ... thanks for introducing this website.
ReplyDeleteThose glasses look sooo cool on you! And indeed very cheap ;-)
ReplyDeleteX Mandy
haha, yes, hannah, giant glasses are so nerdy, they're cool :)
ReplyDeleteI have been meaning to do this but I lost my prescription card. It's just a matter of me going to my eye Dr. and wrangling my prescription free. They insist they have the best prices available... ya right :)
ReplyDeletethey look cute, but it would be nice to see them with you facing the camera instead of looking down. curious, are these glasses courtesy of spex club? aka is this a sponsored post? I've noticed you don't disclose sponsored posts all the times, although it's not required by the FTC for bloggers. It seems a bit fishy how many times certain items/companies are the sole topics of many of your posts (pinhole press, for example)
ReplyDeleteAnd do you link madewell and emerson because you make money if somebody clicks the links and make purchases through an affiliate site, such as rewardstyle or amazon? because it makes me want to clear my cookies every time I visit your page (or not visit it at all)
Is there a reason why you don't have a disclosure about affiliate programs, linking items that you receive a commission off of, or mentioning when you've received an item courtesy of, to review and keep? I'd be curious to know what a "big time" blogger like you feels about the ethics of selling and making money off of readers, and not telling them, up front, about it.
I just ordered a nerdy pair (and my first pair of glasses in my life!) today from Warby Parker. I hope I look as adorable as you do in yours when mine arrive! xo
ReplyDeleteLOVE those glasses on you! I've always been hesitant to purchase frames online, but now that I know it's worked for someone else, I might have to do it (if only to save time!)

Pretty!
ReplyDeletewhere is your pretty necklace from?
ReplyDeleteCute! They fit your style so perfectly! You somehow just upped your hip factor by a thousand, something I didn't think was even possible because you are so freakin cute all the time.
ReplyDeleteJoanna which style did you pick? They're so cute!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE them! They look so great on you! I'm in the market for a new pair...I've got some semi-nerdy black frames, but I'm looking for bigger, browner, rounder full-on nerdy specs. They're the best! Xo, Katie
ReplyDeleteBut which style did you order?? I can't pick! And was the size accurate like in the virtual try on?? I really want the Preston frames....
ReplyDeletethey are very nice!!!! i got new ones last week!!! and i 'm in love! in france we don't do the visual thing so i had so cash out almost 500 €
ReplyDeleteLove them! I've wanted a pair of nerd frames for a while, but I look like a dork in them (and not in a good way). I just ordered a cute pair that actually look nice on me, though. Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteThose are super! Really goes well with your face. And $88 - INCLUDING prescrip?!
ReplyDeletegirl, i love them!
ReplyDeleteI love your new glasses. I've been avoiding glasses for so many years... I think it's time to bite the bullet! Thanks for the push. xo.
ReplyDeleteLove your necklace! Any info on it would be much appreciated!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute - I love them! I totally want to get a pair for myself - that is a great deal!
ReplyDeleteMuch love,
B
They look awesome on you. Good pick! The virtual try ons are great. I was thinking of getting some Warby Parkers. They send you up to 7 or 8 glasses to try on so you can actually wear them. For every 1 pair of glasses purchased, they donate a pair for people in need. Cool huh?
ReplyDelete- Sarah
http://agirlintransit.blogspot.com/
ahhhh, i love your hair color!
ReplyDeleteI need new glasses...Imma check this place out! Cute, Jo!
ReplyDeleteYou AND Toby are soooo cute!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the glasses. I want to order some ASAP! They didn't by chance offer a reader discount (due to your great marketing for them)? wink....here's to hoping :)
ReplyDeleteyes, $88 including prescription! spex club's philosophy is that eyeglasses are way too overpriced and they're selling them for down-to-earth, affordable prices.
ReplyDeleteThey really suit you : )
ReplyDeletethanks for these sweet comments! i got the woody, but they're sold out now -- i'll email them to see if they're getting any back in stock. i also love the wayfarer glasses, such a flattering and classic style.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter is looking for some new glasses and has been a bit nervous about getting them online. She reads your blog so I won't bother forwarding to her :)
ReplyDeleteThey look great on you! Good choice. (:
ReplyDeleteThose are cute!! I'm looking to get a similar pair, but I get mine from the zenni optical website. Pretty similar to spex, but MUCH cheaper! I've been putting off ordering, too... Maybe I'll get around to it tonight seeing how cute yours are!
ReplyDeleteI just got spex club glasses too. I got a deal from Refinery 29 and got two pairs for $88. Which style did you choose?
ReplyDeletecatherine, thanks for your note! this is not a sponsored post. i'd love to do a post coming up, though, about the business model of my blog, explaining how i (and other bloggers) work very hard on both the editorial and business sides of our blogs to make it feasible. especially because i work most evenings now to make it possible to have my blog as a job:) thanks for the idea. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI've worn glasses since I was 7, but recently was told I didn't need them anymore. I was more than a bit gutted, because I was a geek chic glasses wearer too!
ReplyDeleteThey look so rad on you, Joanna!
Cute! I thought about ordering online, but just couldn't do it. I have a hard time finding glasses to fit my face anyways, I didn't want to complicate it further. But that sure is a good price!
ReplyDeletewow, lauren, i've never heard of that! that's awesome, did your eyes just correct themselves?
ReplyDeletesuper cute!!! I don't wear glasses (except for the occasional night time driving) but I totally bought a non RX pair just to pull off this look! Does that make me a nerd? Lol.
ReplyDeleteI ordered some spexclub glasses last week...pretty excited to get them and see how they look in person! yours are very cute.
ReplyDeletere: blogging and sponsored posts, I'm looking forward to your post about your business model. i absolutely don't mind affiliate links/sponsored posts/etc, but i do like to know when they're being used.
You should check out Warby Parker for frames. Their company is set up like Toms shoes where every pair of glasses purchased donates to their cause. They travel the world giving children in 3rd world countries eye exams and outfitting them with a pair of glasses. They are only $95 a pair - slightly more than Spex club, but certainly worth it considering the charity involved. www.warbyparker.com
ReplyDeleteI like your new glasses! I just did the same exact thing, only from BONLOOK, and you inspired my post! (I'm not sold on mine yet though).
ReplyDeletehttp://lifeofmaipai.blogspot.com/2011/10/bespectacled.html#!/2011/10/bespectacled.html
Super cute! I want a pair myself. And btw, when did Toby get so big? :)
ReplyDeletethat is so cheap! thank you for sharing!! seriously, i need these
ReplyDeleteThanks for the glasses and featuring me in your post! That was a fun surprise when I pulled up your blog today.
ReplyDeletePS Yours are really adorable.
Holy cheap! I love these and I will definitely put in my order soon.
ReplyDeleteThey are so cute! And I can't believe how CHEAP they were! I wear glasses and I absolutely LOVE my big nerdy ones, but I don't think I ever would have had the guts to buy them online without trying them on. Though this idea of virtually trying them on is pretty appealing...
ReplyDeletehttp://nomadic-d.blogspot.com/
You look fantastic, Jo! I desperately need some new specs, as mine are literally falling apart. People always ask me if I'm sporting a new trend in eye wear. Maybe I should just go with it?
ReplyDeletehttp://theorderoftheday.blogspot.com
You and your baby are seriously adorable!

Hola Joanna,
ReplyDeleteThis is the first time that I drop you a note. I just wanted to tell you that I follow your blog from Madrid (Spain), I like it a lot....
P.s. No comments about the glasses, i do not wear them!
You look like a young Diane Keaton!! Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLove the glasses!
ReplyDeletejoanna, i just saw your sweet response to caroline, and i'd love it if you did a post about the business side of your blog...i love the creative side of blogging but have no idea about how to turn a blog into a job or if doing so is feasible for me...but learning more would be really, really awesome :) just wanted to let you know...
ReplyDeleteWill have to check out spex club. That is a great photo of you and Toby!
ReplyDeletehannah, wonderful! i'd love to share. will start working on that post now. :)
ReplyDeleteJoanna you look SO good! I have been spotting these large nerdy glasses everywhere and am tempted to get one too but... am slightly averse to following fads! Even though, I would have gotten some, fad or no fad! :)
ReplyDeleteanonymous, my necklace is from minoux jewelry: http://www.minouxjewelry.com/shop/product.php?item=tiny+bar
ReplyDeleteYou're lookin' mighty cute, love the whole get-up ;)
ReplyDeleteoh i love the glasses! i too need a new pair so maybe i'll follow in your footsteps and virtually try some on. they look great!
ReplyDeleteSmoking Crayolas Blogspot
There is nothing wrong with a great big pair of nerdy glasses. I cant imagine wearing anything else :-) x
ReplyDeleteMeriem in Paris
I love your new glasses! The funny thing I noticed about getting big "nerdy" glasses is that not only is the plastic chunky frame way more comfortable, but I can see better! Trying on an old smaller pair made me feel like all I could see was the frames. And the nerdy ones are so hip! The ultimate accessory these days. The only thing that bothers me now is the extra sunny days, though few and far btwn here in SF. Do you have prescription sunglasses too?
ReplyDeleteI think they are super cute on you! Great price. Glasses have gotten very expensive these days.
ReplyDeletere: sponsored posts: I have to admit I have wondered that too about your blog. You link to many products and I figured they had to be affiliate links sometimes. I too like to know when a link is an affiliate or when it's a sponsored post. Your biz model post will be very enlightening. You certainly have managed to market your lifestyle/image very well and I'm sure many readers are falling over themselves to buy the products you wear and/or suggest. You're like the Oprah of the blogosphere!
Nice choice! Also, Toby is TO DIE FOR CUTE!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the glasses! You look beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOh my GOSH! Toby is looking so much like Alex!
ReplyDeleteTwo dazzling smiles. The bottom photo is a really gorgeous one of you Jo- cheerful and natural.
ReplyDeletewww.thefabulousmission.blogspot.org
they suit you so well Joanna! it must be a lot less hassle to buy glasses online, maybe I'll try it next time. on a side note, Toby looks adorable in this picture! xo
ReplyDeleteWow, Toby is all Alex! Have you compared photos of you and Alex at Toby's age? My mom and my brother looked like the same child when they were each around 3 or 4. Kind of spooky. But then he grew up to look a lot like my dad.
ReplyDeleteAnd great glasses!
Super cute. Also, I regret to inform you, that Toby looks more and more like a little boy and less and less like a baby with every new photo. My goodness he is precious!!
ReplyDeleteI love the glasses! very cute :)
ReplyDeletelol how on earth did you know you can virtually try on glasses.. i wouldn't have know that.
so lovely! they look great on you :)

I love your shirt and glasses! Nice pics.
ReplyDeleteYou look adorable! Toby is getting so big!
ReplyDeleteThese look great! I'm a fan of the big nerdy glasses too :)
ReplyDeletesherri from SHERRI AMOUR
i bought some glasses from spex club after seeing them on your site a few months ago. i was so surprised that the prescription was perfect, and the glasses have a better fit than any others i've tried. thanks for the recommendation!
ReplyDeleteHow cute are YOU!?!
ReplyDeleteYou're making me wish I wore glasses!
I love your new look! Makes me wish I needed glasses (well... almost!). :)
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteI love these glasses! I saw someone beat me to suggesting Warby Parker, but they're great because you can try 5 pairs for 5 days for free! I really have to try glasses on because they have to be perrrrfect. I love both sites!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I highly appreciate you linking everything you post about. I know you don't do sponsored posts because you've mentioned it a few times, and I think it's really admirable that you link the said brand/shop/etc regardless. I love to be able to just click and have what I'm looking for right in front of me :). You're also very good with giving credit for pictures and things which is something a lot of bloggers need to learn.
I recently got 2 pairs of SpexClub glasses for $88 from the Refinery 29 Reserve coupon. They're great! I'll have to post them and send you the link sometime. :)
ReplyDeleteI buy my glasses from Zenni Optical, where you can find glasses (prescription included) anywhere form $6-45. Such cheap glasses sound a little sketchy, but I've loved every pair!! And when you're spending $10 on glasses, you don't have to worry so much that they won't look good, because they weren't very expensive.

i have been needing a new pair of perscription for far too long! i just might make the plunge and do a virtual try on! i feel like the stores never have what i want! and you look so hot in your new pair! toby looks like a little man, he is so cuuuute!
ReplyDeleteLove your glasses and Toby is so adorably cute!
ReplyDeleteI am the biggest fan of nerdy glasses! I don't have to wear glasses, but of course, I rock the fake ones every once in a while. I have been a lot recently on my blog!

Oh my when did Toby get teeth! We are now into the adventures of Toby the Toddler!
ReplyDeleteWe have the same glasses! :) Get ready for all the compliments that are bound to come your way, they seem to be a big hit.
ReplyDeleteCute!
ReplyDeletePS: There seems to be a small typo in the post script of the post . . . unless I'm in the dark about what a "hoto" is . . .
I got me some big nerdy glasses.
ReplyDeleteI love them.

Do you know which pair the girl is wearing in the picture above??
ReplyDeleteLove my glasses too! You're rocking those frames. Big frames are in right now, maybe I should consider some??
ReplyDeleteJoanna, YAY for large glasses! I've always been a fan of them. Yours are awesome!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! You look like a modern day Annie Hall :)
ReplyDeleteI love love love a good pair of nerd glasses! I wore mine today actually... Sometimes a girl is just feelin a lil geek chic.
ReplyDeleteToby and his tortoise shell....!!! CUTE!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the glasses. You are ADORABLE Joanna!
ReplyDelete--Shelby
Oh my gosh Toby looks so much like your husband!
ReplyDeleteCute glasses. I ordered some virtually from Warby Parker and I was a little nervous-- but they worked out great! No fuss, no muss, and only $98 (plus they donate a pair to someone in need).
ReplyDeleteI alternate between four pairs of glasses and two pairs of rx sunglasses, and not one pair cost over $30 total (with lenses). I use Goggles4u.com (they're alright, not lot of selection), Zennioptical.com (love them), and coastal.com (like them on Facebook and get a pair free, just pay shipping and coatings). My newest pair, that I LOVE:
ReplyDeletehttp://mediacdn.zennioptical.com/catalog/product/cache/1/image/a6dc22ef430e0638740fa9145e86c374/o/r/order_detail_3649.jpg (model 237125).
I think you'd like these:
http://www.zennioptical.com/273125-full-rim-plastic-frames.html
When glasses are so inexpensive, I think of them as just accessories. For $30 I'll buy a pair to match a blouse! I only wear contacts once a week, so I get a lot of use out of my glasses.
I think it's a great site, but I just ordered glasses from there and unfortunately I have to send them back. A word of warning: If you have a high prescription (i.e. need thick lenses like me) try the thin lens option (which is more expensive.) Mine came in the mail last week and I had to laugh at how thick the lenses were. They looked like coke bottle glasses! They were true nerd glasses (but not in a good way.)
ReplyDeleteI don't know if anyone has already asked you this... (so many comments, lazy to scroll through)
ReplyDeleteWhat style are your glasses. I've been looking for tortoise glasses. Thanks! I love your blog! I'm a newbie!
I have some Warby Parker home-try-ons in the mail to me as I type! I definitely need a new pair of glasses... mine are about 4 years old and all scratched up! not to mention the prescription is a bit old... but I may have to go check out Spex Club now :) you're looking super cute in your glasses! (as is MacKenna!)
ReplyDeleteI've been wearing glasses that have been getting progressively nerdy. Love them. I'm at uber nerd at this point. :)
ReplyDeleteOh my, those look fabulous on you! Then again, I tend to think that you look terrific in everything (seriously!). I've been So curious about SpexClub and am in desperate need of new glasses, but I still don't trust the virtual try-on. I wish they would offer free pairs to try-on at home.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if someone has already asked, but which frames is the reader MacKenna wearing?
ReplyDeletehope I'm not posting twice.. I just had to say how adorable Toby is and how much he looks like Alex! Also, I just got new glasses and love them! They're Paul Smith, and they're the best new accessory! (kind of hipster+nerdy chic) :)
ReplyDeleteyou look fantastic in your glasses...and btw, it looks like you're carrying a mini-Alex here! Toby is his dad! but then sometimes he looks JUST like you. Isn't that so funny how that happens in different photos?
ReplyDeleteToby looks like such a cool baby
ReplyDeleteI am a big fan of you in those glasses and of you owning that extra quarter of an inch!
ReplyDeleteHi Joanna,
ReplyDeletecould you do a hair post with pictures of your haircut and how you style it, please?
I love the way its thinner at the bottom and layered, and would love to see more pictures.
Thanks!
if i were giving out the 'cutest mom ever' award, i'd give it straight to you.
ReplyDeleteps - i'm all for the glasses.
Jo - I think you look so like Wonder Woman before she did her twirls and turned into actual wonder woman - hot hot hot glasses!
ReplyDeleteYour blog is just so so lovely - really enjoy reading it from rainy old Dublin - will deffo be using your NYC recs on my next visit - they're amazeballs and am so excited to see the city from a non-tourist point of view.
Also your little boy is the cutest little cherub in your pictures - he reminds me of my 25 year old bro when he was that small - so squishy!
Le smurf Xxx
Wow Joanna. Toby is looking grown up. You are looking like Annie Hall.
ReplyDeleteMore Toby pictures!! :)
ReplyDeleteThey suit you perfectly! x
ReplyDeleteLove them! I just got my first really nerdy pair...and it took some getting used to. But now I never want to wear my contacts!
ReplyDeleteCatherine! Take a chill pill you anal bitch. If you are that concerned about Joanna and her sponsors dont visit the site. Jealous are we????
ReplyDeleteToby has gotten so big!!!
ReplyDeleteOmg, I love glasses! I must have 10 different pairs by now. My intention is to cycle between them, coordinating them with my outfits, but of course I'm lazy, so I really only cycle between 2 or 3 that go with everything.
ReplyDeleteAND!
I love your outfit, Joanna. The glasses, the button-up...and that necklace! Lovely :D
The glasses are adorable and that Toby....overwhelming cuteness!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I admire your diplomacy. ;)
I love the glasses. I don't have to wear them, but I dread the day I do because I fear I won't suit any.
ReplyDeletehttp://buenodia.com/
Those look great on you! I have (or had, they were stolen - silly to steal someone's prescription glasses) a pair of prescription sunglasses from SpexClub that I loved. They are a really easy company to deal with - returns and all. I also have two pairs from Warby Paker. I love them because of their home try-on feature. In addition to these (yes, I have a lot of glasses) I have a couple of pairs from Coastal Contacts - they do a lot of free glasses giveaways.
ReplyDeleteI started having problems wearing contacts about a year ago (probably a side affect from having to stare at a computer all day for my job) and I was really thankful there are now a lot of online companies providing alternatives to expensive frames found in most doctors' offices.
Thank you for sharing this with other people so they may have the opportunity to save money on something so many of us need.
I actually think you are prettier with glasses than without, they are soooo cool and your outfit is beautiful.
ReplyDelete& Toby. No words. I just love him!
Wow, I don't think Catherine's very legitimate question about sponsorships/affiliate links warranted her being called a bitch!
ReplyDeletePerhaps someone should share their bottle of chill pills!
Love the big/nerdy glasses- you both look great! I've gone back to glasses full-time (from contacts) in the last year because of all the great, inexpensive frames that are offered now. Can't say enough good things about Warby Parker. I'm hoping to get my third pair from them for Christmas...
ReplyDeleteI too am looking forward to a post on the business behind the blog. Blogging is my main outlet living as expat in Europe and I'd love to learn more about how to develop it. Thanks Joanna!
I love your glasses! I say, wear them with pride! I have glasses and I chose chunky plastic frames too :)
ReplyDeletehttp://www.hipposandhearts.com/
Hi Joanna,
ReplyDeleteI have been following your blog for over a year now and I would also be really interested in a post about the business side of it. I recently (very recently) started a blog of my own and am curious to learn all I can about the world of blogging.
P.S. Your glasses are adorable! I've been thinking about getting some online for a while now, but had the same doubts that you did. I think you may have inspired me to try it out :)
another really great and super inexpensive online glasses shop in zennioptical.com they have tons of styles. I've gotten a couple pairs from there and love them!
ReplyDeleteso cute! I need to find a good place to buy glasses because my last pair were like $300!!! Thanks for the tip.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this fabulous recommendation! I have been wanting a pair of the wayfarer style frames, but hesitated to invest in a trend that might have a short life. What an easy way to do it. Love your Blog!
ReplyDeleteYou are the epitome of chic! Love them on you! xo.
ReplyDeleteI just bought a pair of glasses from Spex Club a few weeks ago. I think the hardest part was only choosing one pair, there are so many cute one!
ReplyDeleteOh, Jo, you're so adorable! And what a great pair and for such a grand price.
ReplyDeleteI got a pair of glasses recently...though, I admit, they're faux. But I enjoy that as an accessory.
xoxo
Joanna, you are beautiful! :)
ReplyDelete(and you have the cutest little boy AND I love reading your blog)
:)
I can't believe i got the same glasses! I do not wear them offen because I can't get used to them..
ReplyDeleteI love nerdy glasses too... I've got loads and can't get enough!
ReplyDeletei love these! I've been wanting a pair of the Ray Ban eyeglasses like these ones, but I'm usually just in my contacts anyways. That's an amazing price though!
ReplyDeleteI knew the shirt was Madewell!!xx
ReplyDeleteDid you look at Warby Parker's glasses at all? They have tons of cute nerdy frames and they're all only $99 for the frames and lenses. They also let you try on five pairs at home for free, with no shipping fees to receive them or send them back. And I think they give away a pair of glasses to someone in need for every pair you buy. Something to remember for next time! :) Love the tortoiseshell!
ReplyDeleteThey are awesome glasses! I would love a pair like that although I'm really not sure I can pull of the 'geek chic' look....

I love your new glasses! And the outfit! I bought my specs from warby Parker, am so excited about this option! Perhaps I can use a second pair!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the glasses - super chic!
ReplyDeleteThose glasses are fabulous on you! I have a jean question though: I know this is above and beyond - but I have the hardest time with her pants sizing. Do you wear J Brand or other standard jeans to compare sizes with. I'm always a 28 in their jeans - but according to website I think I'd be way off in hers. How did you find sizing? Any advise please.
ReplyDeletejennifer, good question! i wear a 27 or 28 in jeans, too, and i wear a 28 in emersonmade. they fit really, really well on me. so i think they're pretty true to size. (the only time i wear a 27 is if it's a brand that often runs big, like Gap)
ReplyDeletefor those who asked, i got the Woody glasses and they're back in stock:
ReplyDeletehttp://spexclub.com/index.php/women/woody-901.html
xoxo thanks for all these really sweet comments!
I got my big nerdy NASA engineer glasses at CoastalContacts.com - if you like them on facebook, you can be informed of when their next sale is. What they do is give you the glasses with the standard type of lens (extra for super thin, or whatever coatings) and all you have to pay is shipping. So I paid $15 dollars for them. It's a great deal!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE THEM!!
ReplyDeleteI've been loving the colour of your lipstick :) it's exactly the colour i've been looking for, with no success. Could you help me? :)
ReplyDeleteThanks!
I've been following your blog for some time and find it always intereting and amusing. Keep the great work!
Juliana (Portugal)
I love them! I think I might order a new pair too. I'm almost due for one.

ReplyDeleteHi Joanna! I love the pair of glasses you ordered and I checked it out on the site but, they appear to not be there. Do you have any other similar suggestions? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYou are looking gorgeous in these eyeglasses
ReplyDeleteDiggin it. The whole deal. Well made garments turn casual into special.
ReplyDeleteI wear the Kate Spade Blakely. They are turquoise on the inside, which is kind of fun. I think I'll buy my next pair from Warby Parker because I love the mission of that company.
ReplyDeleteI can't WAIT to read your biz model post - I just started receiving ad money for two different blogs that I write and it's a tricky path to go down.
Yup. Big, and perhaps nerdy, looks nice. The noticeable frame has a nice image when you have the confidence to wear it, and you look great with those new glasses of yours. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteI love the Woody ones! I lost mine too and am in desperate need of a new pair.
ReplyDeletegahhh! this could not come at a more perfect time. I've been looking at other similar websites for the past week, and did not about this one! THANK YOU!!!
ReplyDeleteheLLo! i've been internet searching for MONTHS and i do not exaggerate when i say MONTHS for a pair of eyeglasses! so happy to have stumbled upon your words and photos....hopefully i will find just the right pair for me! thanks much!!
ReplyDeleteYou look absolutely gorgeous with those new pair of eyeglasses on! It suits you perfectly. I actually find women wearing big nerdy glasses fascinating. =)
ReplyDeleteJust for fashion use or for protecting eyes from harmful weather all are fit for its use glasses mostly protects us from the rays which can damage our part of body sometime
ReplyDeleteThe glasses look good on you. I can't say who is looking more good- glasses or your eyes?
ReplyDeleteI just need to know where you got those. Is this through online or any other store?
Well I am little hesitating to buy through online.
If you can share anything about this then please comment back, I wait for your comment.
