Have you guys seen these videos? Rick Mereki spent 44 days taking 18 flights to 11 countries, and he saw stunning views, ate beef tongue, and learned to dance with a beautiful woman. These short films are incredible. Don't they make you want to hop on a plane and go somewhere amazing?

ah yes...when these were first being shared around the web a few weeks ago I watched them at least three or four times a day. I LOVE them. so inspiring. this world was always thought to be so enormous and then the more I watched these videos I had this feeling like we're all so close and so similar as people. we live in such different places but our lives are so intertwined.
I can't possibly choose a favorite! I love the first one too but then I watch the food and I want to eat everything and the colors are outrageous! and then I see "Learn" and WOW! it makes me want to try every last thing. amazing.

I saw these a few weeks ago and have been itching to hop a plane ever since!
my sister is off on an adventure around the world with her boyfriend at the moment, I sent her these videos just after she left as a taster of how amazing it could be! they make me mega jealous though... i've got ants in my pants watching them :)
So cool! Now, I'm definitely in the mood to plan a vacay to a place I've never been to - Turkey/Greece :)
Now, to go - first I need to find a job that will fund it :D
