You'd fly to San Francisco, stay for three nights (!) at the Carneros Inn, go wine-tasting and tour vineyards, and get a delicious cheese basket and other gourmet goodies. Ooh! I was just on that site this morning, looking for a place in LA. I looked up the amazing hotel you stayed in when you went there, but it's a little far from the downtown where I need to be for work. I want to stay one night (or more!) in all of their hotels!
Yeah...I was excited and went to enter, but you have to live in NY state...and I'm from Canada. Too bad, this would be an amazing trip.

Oh, I loooove Farm and the entire Carneros Inn property! Celebrated my birthday there last year and just took my boyfriend to celebrate his last month.

I would tell you that I admire very much. I subscribe to your site daily. I like it when you talk about NY. It is the busiest town that I went up today (logical the city I live (São Paulo) is not behind, but do not have the glamor that offers NY) and his writings and also help to practice my English. My husband and I went to Napa and Sonoma in June. We loved every second. We're trying to plan our next vacation spot... but are having a hard time, because we just want to go back to California! Joanna, if you have any pull... send us back!

my hubby and i just stayed there in March and renewed our wedding vows on the property and i can say it is the MOST romantic and amazing resort ever!

my husband and i stayed at carneros inn for my 30th birthday. it was unbelievable....would LOVE to go back.
After getting married in St. Helena (northern Napa) on a chilly January 3rd evening, I spent my wedding night at the Carneros Inn with my newly-minted husband. Outdoor showers, fireplaces, porches, exquisitely divine; can't wait to go back!
(If they let me, a California resident, enter they would save an armful in cash in not having to fly me anywhere!)
