Have a relaxing weekend.

My lovelies, what are your plans for the weekend? Alex and I are going to the new restaurant Beagle, which sounds awesome, and to a friend's birthday party, and Toby will be practicing his standing! What are your plans? Is there a fall chill in the air? Have a wonderful weekend, and here are some great posts from around the web...

This description of a two-year-old made me laugh out loud. SO TRUE.

Rad notebook.

Swedish wedding by the water.

10 easy dinners.

Awesome temporary tattoo.

Let's all write love lists.

Polka-dot tights...found them for sale here.

Reflecting the stars in NYC.

My friend Caroline's lovely new jewelry.

Excited for fall and red lipstick!

Have a good one. xo

I'll be attending the Sept. 11 service here in DC. It's been moved from the Cathedral to the Kennedy Ctr. The President will be there & that will be nice.

It's not a great weekend for a lot of us...

I like the whales:)

Thank you so much for featuring the red lipstick by Radiant. I work at a sexual assault agency in Duluth, MN where we have a program focused on human/sex trafficking and it is so important to support any efforts to end this crime and help protect the victims!
love cup of jo and you! thanks for being awesome :)

Omg, that 2 y/o post was hilarious and SO TRUE! I can also add deciding to poo in his underwear instead of the potty to that list too–potty training is nuts right now. I wonder how in the world people do it with multiples!?

This is my first autumn in Reykjavík, and it is already cold! I am sad to see the summer go so quickly, but I can safely say that cool, crisp, autumnal evenings smell the same as NYC even near the arctic circle! :)

I hope they don't actually sell beagles for food. I have a beagle puppy, and she's my best friend... not my dinner. :D

Have fun this weekend. Will be running errands and working on some jewelry designs for me. :)

Gabriela, it will be probably at the end of september, but i'd recommend walking across the brooklyn bridge, going to MoMA, walking around the west village and maybe eating at 'ino, tartine or frankies spuntino (all delicious), shopping at john derian, and considering splurging on a sale at sailnyc.com; they're amazing! xo have a wonderful trip!!!

Red lipstick!! I'm toying with this idea, but I don't know if Atlanta is ready for it. At least in NYC you can get away with anything! Jealous..
