Nice dress, so classic. Loved the writing hut of Roald Dahl, forwarded it to my parents, we were all fanatics of his in my fam.
wow - your friend Samantha's water colors are amazing, from the pics you had a link to. i've taken a water coloring class at UC Berkeley one summer and was struck by how difficult it is to master this art form.
and her subjects are beautiful as well.

I recently got that J.Crew dress for work/interviews and I'm so happy that the weather has turned more fall-like so that I can wear it comfortably. You are going to get sooooo much wear out of that dress. Have a great weekend, Joanna!
I too love everything in J.Crew's fall line... this weekend I'm going to start making curtains I bought fabric for, go to the local Oktoberfest, and go to midnight bowling with some friends... and probably make a chocolate cheesecake! Enjoy your weekend ~

I just got Grace's book, amazing! I can see myself sharing it in 50 years with my elderly friends at my nursing home. And they will be all jealous of me for having such a great heirloom to pass to my grandchildren!

Love your jcrew dress Joanna. Cake toppers, baby stripes and making friends (awww) all so cute. I was laughing hysterically with the Beauty and Beast song. I run an after school program and have movie days on Friday so I have seen all of these movies 100's of times. This would be a nice change but I doubt the parents would approve. Ha ha!
