We typically stay home and nerd out on Friday evenings, but tonight we have especially fun plans! Toby and I are going to the newly restored carousel in Brooklyn. It has 1,200 twinkling lights, which I know is going to blow his baby mind. (And I'll be getting snacks here.) Then Alex and I are joining friends for a sunset sail. I'm excited to feel the wind in our hair and see the city from the water. New York, you really nail it sometimes. Also, the Cup of Jo Guide to NYC is officially slated for the week of September 26th! Can't wait to share.

I envy you!

Jo, you might get a kick out of this funny post about kid facial hair... it made me think of your husband Alex's article on men's facial hair and then I imagined Toby with a mustache (very silly). http://www.pickleope.com/2011/09/plea-to-cure-hairy-children.html
