I can't stop obsessing over the entire collection - I also positively lurveee the basics in bags collection (and actually had a dream about the little black suit dress). And...I'm a dork!
Id like to invite everyone to my blog Amish Stories today to read a post from old order Mennonite Jean of New York state. Jean has taken-in a foster child named Michael whose parents are no longer able to take care of him. He's English and Jeans family is old order Mennonite (horse and buggy) but that makes no difference in the love that this young man is receiving from this family. Thank you folks and i hope to see some of you drop by the blog. Richard
totally. I wish I could afford to outfit myself in all of their latest duds. Has anyone tried their skinny jeans? I'd love to see pics of them on others.
Reminds me of my clothes in the 60s & 70s when a little kid & then teenager. Also my mother wore (wears) these designs. So I would say it's more of interpretation of classics then original but they are lovely.
the second photo reminds me of catherine deneuve in the umbrellas of cherbourg. both looks are fantastic! (and doesn't that gal have the most beautiful hair too?)
The coat is gorgeous! Very simple and elegant, and the colour is perfect! I definitely wouldn't mind if this wanted to move into my closet. Not at all ;)
I was just saying how I NEED a camel coat for fall, especially Nina Garcia has been talking about it nonstop...the model is really beautiful, looks like Kate Hudson!
I DO love everything EmersonMade makes, but I must say I've twice ordered from her and twice stuck out with sizing and the fabrics weren't as pictured. Dare I try again? I'm a little gun shy now.
I bought 3 pieces of recent Emerson(Indian top, goldie pocket skirt and denim shirt), and was a little disappointed with the quality of the material, especially when you spend $200 on a skirt. I expected lovely material, instead got cotton that crumples and does not feel that great, and getting annoyed when 2 weeks later I see a similar skirt in the shops that is of better quality and two thirds the price. I have learnt.
I also love their clothes, but have also been disappointed with the quality on the one occasion that I ordered from them. The sizing was off and the quality wasn't great. I'm afraid I'm gun shy about ordering again, even though I'm coveting a few pieces from this collection.
I am so smitten with her classic chic styling and am really tempted. How do her sizes run? I notice a few people saying they guessed wrong with the sizing (too small? too big?).
I also wish she made pants for petites. I'm only 5'2" and am afraid the proportion on the pants would be all wrong for me, even if she looks smashing in them.
nice. what about colored jeans? do people still wear them? i'm thinking of jumping into red: http://sidewalksandsunshine.blogspot.com/2011/09/red-jeans.html
