A new documentary
Love, Etc. is a new documentary that follows five couples for one year in New York City: old, young, gay, straight, falling in love, getting married, having babies, breaking up. The film showed the complexities of romantic love--not just the happy stuff of Disney movies. I watched it this week and adored it. It was funny, heartbreaking and beautiful. Here's the trailer...
What do you think, my darlings? Would you want to see it?

ReplyDeletePearls could be the earliest identified jewely, and for ages have been considered by far the most precious Pearl Jewelry Set. So incredibly valued are Freshwater Pearl Necklace, that the Roman commanding officer Vitellius allegedly paid for a total army campaign by using just one of his mother's Freshwater Pearl Pendant. Pearls seem to have been worn as a personal decoration for generations. Freshwater Pearl Ring signify chastity, chasteness and ethics. They have for many years been considered ideally suited wedding day presents because clay beads represent chastity and chasteness. Customarily it's a near requirement for brides. Whether it is a tiara for the bride or accessories for the bridesmaids, Acrylic beads are beautiful, light weight, and very affordable. Also known as lucite beads. ReplyDeleteHey Jo!
ReplyDeleteMy new husband and I caught Love Etc. in LA on Saturday night and really enjoyed it! The director and producer had a Q&A and shared some inside secrets- mainly that they hoped it would end like a Disney tale with rainbows, laughs, and eternal love and were surprised with the actual end result. It was beautiful and we went thanks to your post! We were once again reminded that the world is so very small and connected- thank you for your great work, Jo!
Oh my god, there's so much effective information above!
ReplyDeleteHey Jo - I've been jumping into documentaries on Netflix since you posted this (link to your top 10).
ReplyDeleteI just watched an amazing one, 180° South. It's truly breathtaking, inspiring, and asks all the right questions. It's even a bit funny. Check it out for your next movie night in.
In my view every person ought to look at it.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your article, quite useful data.
