Have an adventurous weekend.

My sweets, what are your plans for this weekend? This afternoon I'm getting a massage! It was my Mother's Day present, and I'm finally going. I'm soooo excited. (Have you ever tried one of these?) Hope you guys have a great weekend, and here are a few fun posts from around the web...

What a stunning Indian wedding. The details are mind-blowing.

Pretty earrings.

Grass globe illusion in Paris.

Love this wedding print.

Street-style jumps!

Sweet new stationery.

Rad rooftop playground in Copenhagen (of course).

Two pretty tops for date nights: blue and polka-dot.

The steepest rollercoaster! (Watch the video at 1:35, eeeeeeeks!)

Great birthday cake.

I wish this sailor dress came in grown-up sizes.

This made me laugh.

Wonderful advice about what to say to someone who's sick.

Have a good one, my darlings! xoxo (P.S. For any early readers, sorry about the original post that went up, it was definitely a draft!:)

Joanna, it seems like someone may have hacked your blog again. Your Friday post seems strange. I hope not!

  24. teehee, i read the earlier draft, which was kind of fun - seeing how your posts look like before your readers can get to them!

ps. that marriage print made me giggle :)

  25. Such a great list. The roller coaster video nearly made me poop my pants... I almost fell out of one when I was little! Oh hell no to roller coasters, is what I say. And that Keep Calm poster -> perfect.
Also- and on a slightly more serious note- the "What to say to someone who's sick" article reminded me of how people comment on Facebook postings wherein a person shares their medical reports (which is an issue all its own) with: Sad faces, "cheer up", "sending prayers" and so on. It can be so silly and can have such a sort of blatant disconnect. These article suggestions are good ones, though.
Okay, back to looking at the Indian wedding details... holy geez!
    Enjoy a wonderful weekend!

  44. I love the roller coaster idea. Way too fun! And sailor anything is so dope! I am making orchid and live plant decorations for my very happy un-birthday party with girlfriends where we;ll be crafting, having a tea party, playing dress up, taking Polaroids, rating lavish french pot-lucked food, making tons of cupcakes to devour and enjoying champagne. I heart the cava! I also plan to put all the paper lanterns up and to go to a leather and beach store to get supplies for my next project and in between, I must replace my broken camera so I can keep blogging and not post too many i-phone pics all week smh! lol! Enjoy your weekend and take lots of pictures for me and all the other bloggers who have cameras are out of commission.

    dear joanna
every friday, i get very excited because i know you'll have a sweet picture/message and bunch of cool links waiting for me

but do they all have to be cool?
i read the links, wanting to click on 2-3, but then somehow i have all of them open on my dash.

seriously: its a problem, esp. when i open a link and have to click on even more links!!!

sometimes my safari even "unexpectedly" shuts down!! :(

    so please joanna,

please write less interesting-sounding blurbs and stop having so many cool things to introduce me to.

it takes up hours of my time that i could be using to study or work out or something.

    thanks.

Hi Jo ! I just wanted to post a little comment to tell you that i really enjoy reading your blog. I discovered it a couple of years ago, and stopped following websites for a while. A week ago I re-discovered it by chance and was so happy to see that you are still a fantastic blogger. And what a surprise to see that you have now a wonderful baby boy ! I am reading your blog like it's a novel. For now I'm in December 2009 ;-)
Btw, je suis française, et en ce moment même je suis en train de manger du Roquefort. True story. BIG thoughts for you cheese lover !
Je t'aurais bien écrit tout en français, mais je n'étais pas sûre que tu le parles couramment (je n'ai pas trouvé d'indice concluant) !
Je t'envoie plein de bisous, à toi et à ta jolie famille.
