Fun wine labels

Alex and I had a few people over for wine and cheese last night, and, just as a twist, we made personal wine labels from Pinhole Press. I used a photo of Paris and the words, "Have a magical evening."

P.S. I'd also love to make this next time, haha :)

  16. Oh I LOVE this! I'm definitely doing this for a party. What type of wine bottles did you use? Did you have to remove their original label?

  17. It's really funny you say that because I saw the labels and was thinking how pretty they were, and where had you gotten them? Never occurred to me that you made them! I'm pretty quick on the uptake. ;)

  21. What a great idea. I love them - so simple yet effective! I'm sure I will do this soon. It's like a grownup version of my re-label chocolate bars that I did for my daughter's party bags ... http://buttercupdaysuk.blogspot.com/2011/03/party-time-part-four-bags.html

    Thanks for sharing. x

  22. I love the labels, and will definitely use this idea in the future. So fun and cute. But I have to ask, how do you manage to pull off a wine and cheese evening with a baby? Our son is just a couple of months younger than Toby, and we really haven't done much entertaining since he was born...

  28. What did you use to stick the new labels? My old-label-removal technique often leaves a gummy mess. Can you just paste (tape?) over them?

  29. clara -- the new wine labels fit right over the original wine labels (super easy) so you don't have to remove the original wine label.

  30. christy -- the labels are adhesive. so you just peel off the back and they stick right on! SUPER easy.
