My lovelies, what are you up to this weekend? Alex, Toby and I are planning to hit up the Brooklyn Flea tomorrow on the awesome new ferry that connects Manhattan and Brooklyn! We're also hoping to stop by our favorite beer garden for sausages and mustard, if Toby is in the mood to chill at a table. :) Hope you have a wonderful weekend, and in the meantime, here are a few great posts from around the web this week...Summer tomboy style.
The most amazing room makeover.
Packing for a beach getaway.
What a relaxing and pretty home.
Remember this hilarious tourist photo? Well, now there's a whole blog devoted to them!
Fresh flowers on a cake.
A beautiful wine stopper.
Yahoo! A cheap version of these amazing shoes.
A rad NYC pop-up book.
What it's like to not sleep at night.
And Samuel L. Jackson reads the audiobook of Go the F**k to Sleep.
An unusually modest mermaid.
And, last but not least, 20x200 is having its annual redonk sale. :)

ReplyDeleteLove love love reading your blog and I always find inspiration, especially hair inspiration! I was recently featured in an online magazine called Docica and we used ones of the hairstyles you shared a couple of months ago! The braid from above made me think I should share that with you! Here is the link http://www.docica.com/ it was in the "Artsy abode" issue. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy your lists. Thanks for the giggles...
ReplyDeleteBest weekend lists! So wonderful to wake up to and read over a cup of coffee :)
ReplyDeleteThe new ferry sounds wonderful! A aquatic equivalent to a bus system, very much needed in that bustling city.
Thanks! & happy weekend!
riding the ferry sounds like so much fun. i'm noting that for my next trip to nyc. i'm almost positive i stopped in to that same beer garden with my cousin last fall. it had an adorable front that just beckoned to be entered. he grabbed a matchbook for me before we left (the best souvinir!) so i'm going to go find it and see!
ReplyDeletehave a great weekend, xo
I hope you make some good finds at the flea market! I've been wanting to visit our local one again soon too. Have a great weekend!
