I'm already sunburnt. Memorial weekend= lots and lots of sun. So happy summer's finally here.
ReplyDeleteHere in Madrid it's been anywhere from 70 to 86 in the past few weeks, rainy and thundery and then the next minute bright blue skies and blinding sunshine. A little hard to keep up with but I'm definitely enjoying it. trying to figure out when to take the plunge and put the comforter in storage, that's how I know it's officially summer! The thing that amazes me about Madrid summers is that the sun sets so late, last night it was 9:45 and the sky was still twilighty!d
ReplyDeletehttp://nomadic-d.blogspot.com/
Oh I wish we had sun!!! I live in Ireland where the weather is VERY touch and go, there is never a guarantee of a summer but always a guarantee of rain! :)
ReplyDeleteThose photos are lovely Joanna! Did you take them yourself? I'd love to use them in my own post, or as wallpaper...can you credit, please? (Or clarify if they are yours)
ReplyDeleteI live in Central London. It was rather wet, bleak and windy this morning, but now it is noon,we have a nice bout of sunshine and I'm in a sun dress. :)
ReplyDeleteFinally feels like summer here in Cleveland too- and how sweet it is!
ReplyDeletein Egypt the weather is so hot in the morning but at night the weather is perfect :)
ReplyDeleteps. we still need our dose of mother's Monday
http://girlynote.blogspot.com
I live in Tunis and it's still cloudy . Sun will be here on sunday though and I'm planning to spend the day by the sea side
ReplyDeleteIts beautiful here as well...We are eating tons of ice cream and trying to stay cool:) Its hot hot hot! Beautiful photos, Joanna. Happy Tuesday
ReplyDeleteoh, yes, kaitlin, i'm not sure what the photo credits are, i wish i knew! does anyone recognize these two shots? xo
ReplyDeleteVery chilly here in Brisbane, Australia, as winter kicks off tomorrow! Enjoy the sunshine! X
ReplyDeletewow, i'm amazed by how scattered around the world everyone is! so many amazing places!! :)
ReplyDeleteOur Summer adventure is moving from L.A. to Denver. Oh how I'll miss the beach and California weather but I'm so excited to explore the beautiful mountains and lakes!
ReplyDeleteSunny, but a bit cool in Napa Valley today! I'm coming to NYC in two weeks - I hope your summer heat is still there during our visit!!
ReplyDeleteIt's hot and stuffy in Philadelphia! I put my air conditioner in last night by myself. The result? A pool of water underneath the air conditioner because I installed it(read: duct taped it) pointing down into my room. BLERG!
ReplyDeleteI'm in Vallejo, CA. It's in the 60s, and it's supposed to rain on and off for the rest of the week. It's supposed to warm up in a couple of weeks (fingers crossed!), and then we can use the pool in our new house.
ReplyDeletehere in Ga we have 3 seasons autumn/summer spring/summer and Hell like hot!
ReplyDeleteIt's currently raining and grey in Brussels, but we've had our share of sun already and the best spring ever!
ReplyDeleteI'm in Florida and we've been wearing shorts since March...even a few days in February. We are lucky. But, in 2 months in the thick of July....ask me again if I love the heat and sun! It's going to be in the high 90's all week...PLUS the killer humidity....YIKES! There's only so much the AC can handle.
ReplyDeleteMeh, the weather in Seattle is still very chilly and mediocre. We keep waiting and hoping for some sunshine!
ReplyDeleteIt's hot and HUMID here in New Orleans! I'm counting down the days until my vacation in Colorado! Cool mornings and nights here I come!
ReplyDeletehigh 90s in florida! insane!! i would melt. ;)
ReplyDeleteWell-here in Kampala you can set your watch to the rains at the moment...usually at 4.30pm on a Tuesday...just in time for our frisbee game! But generally, blissful..always sunny and never too hot with great thunderstorms to break up the heat! This summer I'm looking forward to wearing layers and boots back in Scotland!
ReplyDeleteHere in the small town of Porterville, CA, we don't usually get a spring or fall, it's just winter and then insanely-hot-please-kill-me-summer. Last year we had a week of 113-120 degree weather in May, this year we haven't even hit 90! And this week is supposed to be in the low 70's and raining! Needless to say I'm still wearing pants.

hi Jo, i am loving your blog and you are an inspiration to me ause i have just started mine xx its just the start of winter here in WA but it only gets as cold as 20 degrees in the day, no too bad, it never rains but yesterday it finally did ha ha have a fabulous day xxx angela
ReplyDeleteI live in NY and I went upstate this weekend! Everything is flooded and it never stopped raining. I'm kind of missing that cool weather now that I'm back home and its sweltering.
ReplyDeleteI'm from Germany and while we had a bright summer day with temperatures in the 90ies yesterday, today is rainy and chilly. What a drab! But we sure had a very nice spring so far, maybe even the nicest one I've ever seen!
ReplyDeleteRelatable Style
Where I am at it has been raining sooo much, but today it is suppose to be in the 70's! Now I can plant my garden!
ReplyDeleteI am liking your blog... :)
In Lisbon (Portugal), the weather is crazy these days!!! Saturday we had 30ºC with rain/storm with lightening and thunders (just like a tropical country!!). Sunday it rained all day long. Today is very sunny (the tipical lisbon light) with a spring breeze. But we had already tipical summer/beach days, with 36ºC.
ReplyDeleteFrom now on I hope summer strikes the city! So we can definetly put the jackets away, and wear nice summer dresses!!
It finally feels like summer here in Boston! I love every minute of it!
ReplyDeletehttp://onmyminddesign.blogspo.com
in verdun, france, one day it's hot hot hot like yesterday, today it's cold and rainy. makes for great weather small talk ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's still Winter in Northern California.
ReplyDeleteIt's been raining forever in Toronto! But today is FINALLY hot & sunny! :)
ReplyDeletewow, i'm really amazed at how spread out everyone is -- so many fun places!!! think of the house swapping possibilities! :)
ReplyDeleteaw, thank you so much, angela! xoxo
ReplyDeleteYes, its finally Summer here in NYC, and we're melting! Our pups- two wire-haired doxies- Gaston and Penny, cant walk in the sun, the ground gets so hot it burns their little bellies!
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteIt suddenly got warm here in Boston--no spring for us, apparently! But after a long winter, sunshine is more than welcome. (With some SPF 80+ of course.)
ReplyDeleteI live in North Texas and it was 98 feeling like 106 on Sunday. There was a lot of laying by the pool with a lot of sunscreen!
ReplyDeletecalifornia--don't really wear shorts and applied sunscreen to my husband's neck while he was laying pavers in our backyard yesterday. the weather is very strange--we had rain on saturday night. very late in the year for us. this has been a very strange weather year for us.
ReplyDeleteI forgot to mention the liberty that summer brings to babies (and their parents). My son Manuel is turning 6 months tomorrow and we took him to the beach for the first time 2 weeks ago. He loved it. And it's do easy to dress them and go out for a walk when it's sunny... I think they even grow faster when the sun shines!!!
ReplyDeletechicago is hot & steamy! hoping it lasts. xo
ReplyDeleteHere in France in the Loire Valley, the sun shines for over 2 months. I have never seen such a beautiful spring! I took out my sunscreen but it is outdated ... I'll buy me a new one :(
ReplyDeleteWell, I think here in Nashville we are FINALLY out of tornado season. Now it's just plain HOT. Highs in the 90's all week. I'm moving to Portland, OR at the end of June though. Looking forward to a break from the heat, but I will miss the sunshine I'm sure when it gets to be February/March :)
ReplyDeleteWent to Paris this weekend.. dancing the streets in short dresses... now the sun is shining in London as well!!
ReplyDeleteAll I have to say is, I'm in DC. Grumble. Went to draw a mid-morning herb bath & the cat is in there. (No water, tho:)
ReplyDeleteI might go out & walk in the evening which is when I don't mind the heat. Those of us with medical issues, chronic or short-term do not find this so great (so early in the season).
Grateful that I shelled out for a really good fan at Restoration Hardware two summers ago. One of those vintage looking things that don't make you cringe. And it's really quiet, doesn't overheat. The cat hogs that too. lol
It snowed yesterday! If summer arrives here in Utah we'll be really happy.
ReplyDeleteI'd wish! We have already had some really nice days but today it started raining. It's my birthday in some days and I will celebrate it with my friends and family in my backgarden, hopefully it won't rain and the weather will become a bit better because my house is too small for all them!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Nancy
Here in Lebanon it is hot and humid, you try not to move unless you have a fan on you.
ReplyDeleteLondon is sunny today after a rather grey and dull week, and we're set for some proper summery sunshine this weekend, yipee! That second photo is gorgeous, just makes me want to fly far far away :)
ReplyDeleteHi I'm from Brazil (South) and it's freezing cold down here. Winter is just starting!!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, here's another Utahn who got snowed on yesterday. The SLC snowfall actually made the top of the hour news on NPR; not an honor I was thrilled about because snow on Memorial Day is just wrong. Today it's supposed to be 75 and then Thursday 65. I just want five consecutive days of sunshine so my garden can finally get going.
ReplyDeleteThe weather in northern California is so cool and wonderful. I loved going to the A's game yesterday and being in the sun with the cool breeze. So lovely!
ReplyDeleteAlmost 90 degrees in Debrecen, Hungary. Pity that I spent all my day in the office... :)
ReplyDeleteEugene Oregon... rain all week long.
ReplyDeleteWe just moved from Phoenix to Kansas City.. so even though it's heating up here it still seems downright chilly at times when compared to the desert! :) We've been outside at every oppertunity, making bonfires in the backyard and jumping on the trampoline with our little neice. The only thing we need now is bug spray - I'm covered in mosquito bites!
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous of everyone's warm, sunny weather! It's pretty cool and rainy here in England. I wish I could have some lovely weather! Hopefully a Spanish vacation will give me my necessary sun dosage!
ReplyDeleteOxford. Mostly rainy. Though today is sunny. But it still doesn't feel like summer. Need a jumper when you're out. Boo.

ReplyDeleteLOVE these photos!
ReplyDeleteit's hot and humid here in texas.
oh honey - we've been in the river & kayaking since Feb, and living in tank tops & flip flops since we had our first 95 degree weekend IN THE 2ND WEEK OF MARCH
ReplyDeletewe've already hit 100 twice, and looking to do more of the same this week -
whatever this is, it is not summer - that is too nice of a word
Pulled out the sun screen yesterday for tennis! It was gorgeous - and hot - in Michigan!
ReplyDelete38 degrees in Utah. I don't want to talk about it :(
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the boat picture. I'm from Southern California and we are definitely gearing up for Summer. Especially at our vacation homes with the family. Very exciting since it will be our bebe's first fun vacation summer =)

Nomadic already updated you on Madrid's weather: thundery although almost summery sometimes. In my 10 years here (and I also spent 6 while in College), this is the first "real spring" I can remember of. Congrats for your work!
ReplyDeleteCarmen
Hi Jo,
ReplyDeleteI live in Sacramento and we are having a really late summer. I heard that it even rained on and off all weekend.
We spent the weekend in Tahoe, and it was SNOWING! Unheard of for Memorial Weekend. But still beautiful.
Hey Jo!
ReplyDeleteI live in London but have taken a 6 week break to come back and hang out at my parents' house in Connecticut...and let me tell you...it is gonna be real tough leaving this weather and going back to the more mild and sometimes rainy weather. I could really get used to this warmth and sun!

Wow, this is quite the international mix! I'll add to by letting you know that we had a perfect summer day today here in Berlin, Germany. Of course, it was topped off by a thunderstorm, but at least my balcony plants probably enjoyed that!
ReplyDeleteOoh the sun is out and shining in Edmonton Canada...we've had a really late spring so the trees are just blossoming and everyone is out riding bikes and planting gardens- so much fun and prettiness! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm Brirish living in the Netherlands. We have had days of gorgeous blue skies and hot temperatures, but today its raining and grey and like a fall day! Bring back the sunshine.
ReplyDeleteThat first picture is so beautiful! Wish I was there...
ReplyDeleteAfter weeks of beautiful and dry weather, it's raining in Belgium...

The monsoon's approaching and it is hot and very humid here in Mumbai, India.
ReplyDeletemanitoba, more apropos known as the year round torrential surprise.
ReplyDeletethe spring (rain rain rain rain, it never goes away)
you want to leave in such a fleeting manner (in the summer), so hot and nowhere to hide but indoors.
in the fall, it's just right.
we freeze. (dans l'hiver).
spf 15 is standard here. in the 90's and humid... which lends to the most beautiful blossoms !
ReplyDeletekeep cool,
Lynsey
still waiting for california to warm up. the weather here's just so off and on.
ReplyDeleteglad to hear that summer's hit nyc, though!
central texas! it is miserably humid, and in the upper 90's currently. i honestly don't sunscreen as much as i should, because i secretly love when my shoulder freckles multiply.
ReplyDeleteOh yes it's sunny here in central Italy, maybe a bit too hot for me.. luckily the beach isn't far away ;) have a nice summer time
ReplyDeleteHello, from Latvia, yes, it`s summer here too, finally! Dresses, skirts and sunglasses - everywhere! Unfortunately, hot weather kills all blossoms :( But summer - we forgive everything!
ReplyDeleteI am in Sacramento, and it still feels a bit chilly for this time of year, hoping for warm weather soon!
ReplyDeleteAtlanta! Been summer here ;) Vacation in Southern Alabama last weekend, so we've already beached :)
ReplyDeleteCopenhagen is finally warm as well! The park was just full of people and everyone was sitting out in the cafes, finally without their coats!
ReplyDeleteI'm in the Bay Area and it's supposed to rain this weekend! In June!! I just know that after the rain we're going to start getting, like, 90° weather, too...no spring whatsoever.
ReplyDeletei live in israel & it's getting hottt! summer time has hit = beach every weekend :)
ReplyDeleteMiyan

It's hot in Chicagoland, too! We're getting a thunderstorm this afternoon that should cool things off :) I can't wait!

Born and raised in Wisconsin along Lake Michigan! I miss those summer breezes and variety of temperatures. I've been living in Alafrickenbama for almost 4 years and hate it! :) It's tooo hot! I'm loving California Baby and Badger sunscreen, very safe! xx
ReplyDeleteIt's been ridiculously hot for more than a month now in Austria which is really unusual... only downside is that the lakes are still rather on the chilly side, so jumping in would result in a heart attack :) Can't wait for summer!
ReplyDeleteIts still light jacket weather here in Edinburgh, Scotland. Summer doesn't really exist here but my husband and I are going to visit my family in Florida in 3 weeks so that will be our summer!
ReplyDeleteahh! it's cold and rainy here in san francisco! i wish summer would show up.
ReplyDeletei need a tan :)
Here is Los Angeles it is sunny but there is still a cool briskness in the air. We had heavy winds this weekend. The real heat does not really show up until July and lasts until right before Halloween. June tends to be pretty gloomy. We call May Gray and June Gloom.
ReplyDeletePortland & rain...boo. But, it's supposed to be dry this weekend and may get up to 80 degrees!
ReplyDeleteI'm from Brazil, so it's kind of cold here right now. But the afternoons are usually sunny. :)
ReplyDelete(Cold for us means 18ºC!)
South of Sweden saying hello! We're finally getting some warmer weather, reaching 25ºC (77ºF) on a sunny day. This is definetly the best part of the year, the trees are in full bloom and the summer has only started. :)
ReplyDeleteit's always summer where i live.
ReplyDeletei live on st john in the virgin islands.
our temp is about 86 F all year round.
it's just started to get hotter here too, which means i can start swimming again, yay!!
i use to live in nyc but could take the cold winters.
enjoy your summer.
I finally comment even though I've been reading for about two years now. I live in Miami, so it's pretty much always sunny here. I kind of get tired of it, but I don't complain because I know how hard harsh winters can be. I hope you have a wonderful summer.
ReplyDeleteI ADORE this post as everyone is telling something personal in someway ... So for me it's interesting (maybe because I'm a bit curious)!! Well, in my case, I'm in Paris and will go to Madrid tomorrow then Barcelona and finally will spend my week-end in Marrakech !! I just hope I'll have a sunny week-end and lay down all day at "Nikki beach" ...

ReplyDeletewe're expecting thunderstorms today which i love. it's super windy right now, but memorial day was perfect, so i won't complain! i think summer is finally here in the midwest :)
ReplyDeleteI'm in Reno, NV. The weather has teased us with a few days here and there in the 70s and 80s, but then we had snow this weekend. :(
ReplyDeleteSO ready for summer!
I live on Cape Cod and am at the beach right now! I am currently on a week long vacation too, and don't even have to leave home to get some sand between my toes :) I am grateful!
ReplyDeleteHere in Nicosia, Cyprus, across the atlentic its warm but it rains for a few minutes a lot, and then it stops. they say it will stop by friday so we are just being patient!
ReplyDeleteand after that, its swimming all day long in every other city but mine! (we are a small island though, so the distances are short short short!)
I'm over on the west side + running along Riverside Park every day in the sunshine has been absolutely incredible! I love summer in the city, don't you? xo Lola
ReplyDeleteI'm in San Diego. Its the low 70's here, which I love! Finally having some sun after "may gray". Pretty cool for this time of year and stil having rain almost once a week! Looking forward to some beach days soon.
ReplyDeletexo
Well, living here in Estonia usually means 3 months of crisp winter and the rest is just 9 months of bad skiing weather, but somehow I still manage to get sunburnt from head to toe TWICE by the end of May and this year is no different. So - yes, summer has finally arrived in the Baltics as well.
ReplyDeleteFittingly, we had our first real day of summer yesterday here in Chicago. I managed to get completely sunburned ever while using sunscreen, so today is pretty painful. I'm crossing my fingers that it will fade to a tan and not peel so that I can start wearing pretty sundresses on the weekends!
ReplyDeleteI'm in Toronto...Ontario Canada, it's beautiful out! but I have to go off to work indoors till night soo I'll be missing most of the beautiful weather today.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.pinkpeonieswithlove.blogspot.com
I live in South Carolina. We are expecting 98 degrees today. Needlesstosay, my shorts and sunscreen have been out!
ReplyDeleteJoanna, what a great post this is!! So many people from all over the world is reading you... How amazing the blogosphere is! But I guess you had an hidden agenda when you wrote this post... You wanted to choose a sunny place to go on vacation, and look for a house to swapp. I never did that... I think you have, you should talk more about that in a post. kisses from sunny lisbon (Portugal)
ReplyDeleteHot and sunny in Atlanta! We drove one of our daughters to summer camp in the North Carolina mountains yesterday. Much cooler there!
ReplyDeletePetra
I am in SEATTLE - the RAIN city. The sun didn't arrive here yet; but, I am hoping it will some day :)
ReplyDeleteCalifornia of all places is STILL cold! I'm soaking it all in though, not excited to start baking!!

It's finally summer here in TORONTO! It's 28 degrees (that's 84 for you Americans) but with the humidity, it feels like 40! But I'm not complaining - we cried about the bitter, long winter. I refuse to whine about the heat!
ReplyDeletehere in portland, oregon its as rainy as ever... it was nice a couple weeks ago? haha, i'm still keeping the faith that summer will come, even if it is a couple weeks late!
ReplyDeletewe've had the most joyous weather in phoenix... it's almost june and weather in the high 80's... i must be dreaming!!!
ReplyDeleteSo happy summer is finally here in NYC, I almost complained last night about how stuffy our little apartment was but I restrained myself. This winter was too long to say anything negative about sun and heat!
ReplyDeleteJust did for the first time this weekend in the Outer Banks of NC and it was fabulous!!
ReplyDeleteI'm living just North of Houston, TX.
ReplyDeleteThe temperatures here are unusual hot for this time of the year. We are having August temperatures in the mid to upper 90's and a high humidity that makes it feel like in the lower 100's. Also unusual daily winds, which I don't mind since it helps the heat to be a bit more bearable. Since January we had 1 day of rain which also is very unusual. Usually we see at least one short rain shower in the afternoon hours if not every day but at least any other day but this year so far we only have seen a big drought.
Regards
Paula Jo
i'm in barcelona, and it finally started feeling like summer last week. but today it's raining. :(
ReplyDeleteI miss the sun so much! We moved from SF to Portland in January and have had a record-breaking rain season that is still lingering! What a welcome to the Northwest! I am so looking forward to blue skies and warm weather :)
ReplyDeleteHere in Croatia is hot. This entire week will be even higher temperature, maybe with a little rain. In Croatia the season of swimming and sunbathing is open.
ReplyDeletei live in barbados and the weather is gorgeous! always holiday weather.
ReplyDeleteI live in Washington State, north of Seattle. It is NOT hot here. It is gray most days with a little sun peeking through. I am so ready for summer. It has been a super, extra rainy spring here (and that means lots of rain). Your pictures look amazing, I'm hoping to be reading in the sun soon!
ReplyDeleteI live in LA and yes I have pulled out the shorts and skirts!
ReplyDeletehttp://mstwirlyskirts.com
Down here, in Brazil, it's cold. brrrr! Jackets and scarfes are getting out of closet! :)
ReplyDeleteIn Amsterdam we are bringing on the shorts and canoeing in the canals (with a beer bottle wedged between the legs, of course)!
ReplyDeleteI'm an Australian living in Belfast and currently experiencing my first Irish "summer" i.e. rain every other day with gale force winds! A big change to a stinking hot Aussie summer!
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing, we are reading your blog from all the continents! Greetings from the sunny side of Alps, Slovenia!
ReplyDeleteLondon, sunny crossed with cloudy and cool. Would swap for NYC weather any day of the week. :) x

ReplyDeleteI am in South Carolina and the weather has been 90's for a while now.
Live in San Diego...and the weather is wonderful now. Took little Mila to the beach for the first time yesterday and had a blast! Glad it's finally lovely in NYC!
ReplyDeletealexa
I live in Miami Beach, FL., needless to say it's felt like summer here for about a month or so, which is unfortunate because Spring can be such a lovely time to wear dresses and let one's hair down before the sweaty foreheads and frizzy hair:/
ReplyDeleteIt is going to be at least 100 in Phoenix today. The weekend was gorgeous weather. It has been very unusual weather for us lately, going up and down. Hopefully it will stay nice for a while.
ReplyDeletedenver, colorado! beautiful 76 and sunny! have had a rainy spring and some crazy winds (tornados out on the plains yesterday) but it feels like summer! woohoo! (then again anything above 40 degrees feels like summer to CO natives haha) yay for sunshine and vitamin D!
ReplyDeleteI live in Caracas, Venezuela and we don't really have seasons so we've had 'summer' for a while now... hot but with thunderstorms (like the ones going on outside now) every now and then. Gotta love the tropics!
ReplyDeleteOutside Basel Switzerland - and it was really beautiful high 80's then all of a sudden we have rain! :( ACK! But we really need it, it has been way to dry around here! Hopefully it will go away though by like Friday and Saturday! we have 2 day holidays coming up!
ReplyDeleteIt's in the high 90s in Charlotte, NC this week, but that's not normal for this time of year. It should be in the 80s. But even the high 90s here is not nearly as bad as Florida weather, where I used to live.
ReplyDeleteI live in Texas.. it's been summer here for 2 months. I'm trying really hard not to complain about it this year!
ReplyDeleteAha, here in Spain the weather is lovely!!

ReplyDeleteI am from Spain, but the north is not too much sunny as people use to hope...
ReplyDeleteWe have had some sunny days but now weather is wet and cloudy, quite cold, 15 ºC...
looking forward to summer!
Greetings from Toronto!
ReplyDeleteOur May has been chilly and rainy but today it's humid and sunny.
Toronto humidity is oppressive - we're not quite at full heat/humidity yet. I probably won't pull out the shorts yet, but I've got sandals on!!
I just told my coworker, I know it's summer when I can smell people on the street.
Already have striped feet due to strappy sandals and full on sunshine here in NJ:)
ReplyDeleteIt's reallyyy hot and humid in Texas!! As usual, haha :) I love your blog. I just started my first one (http://fragmentsofexpression.blogspot.com/), and I hope to get the hang of it sooner or later:)
ReplyDeleteit's soooo hot and humid in wisconsin today! happy to bring out the sunscreen and summer dresses, for sure!
ReplyDeletevery glad it's warm in new york!
Still cold and rainy in Boise- what gives?
ReplyDeleteHere in Gaborone (Botswana) winter is coming and it's freezing cold during the night! At least the sun is shining almost every day, so the days are beautiful and not as dreary as winter in the Northern hemisphere.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the summer in NYC!

i live in Egypt and the weather is amazing! finally summer is upon us =)
ReplyDeleteLove you blog Joanna
Even in Warsaw: hot&sunny, feels like summer!
ReplyDeleteLucky you! Unfortunately, sunscreen is not essential, just yet, here in Vancouver BC. Pretty dreary.
ReplyDeletei live in seattle. i wore uggs boots to a memorial day picnic. sad. very sad. nuf said.
ReplyDeleteI am in Ireland and still waiting for a glimpse of summer - I have heard rumours that it will be here by Friday so hears hoping!
ReplyDeleteCape town, south africa. Winter is starting; it's rainy and cold. But I wear my shorts with tights :) <3 your blog
ReplyDeleteHello Joanna. My name is Ana and I'm writing you from the other side of the ocean: Portugal. We're a small country that most of americans think it's a part of spain. We're just neighbours.
ReplyDeleteMy country is a very sunny country with a delicious climate.
I'm going to the beach since March, so you can imagine.
Here, in Paris, the weather is hot and sunny from 2 months now, which is quite unusual, spring beeing generally rainy.
ReplyDeletehere in dc its 97 and feels like the fiery furnace of hell. but at least the pool is open!
ReplyDeleteI'm in North Carolina and my car thermometer read 100 degrees today. I considered calling into work "hot," not sick, just hot.
ReplyDeleteAlways nice and sunny here in beautiful southern California! Los angeles to be exact :) love your blog!! Cheers to more success
ReplyDeleteIceland and the weather has been really crappy :(
ReplyDeleteThe summers have been really good the last few years and I'm hoping that come June, everything will get much better! hope hope hope...
Portland, Oregon is gray, chilly, and slightly drizzly. Perfect for a cup of coffee, but i'm ready for warm days!!!
ReplyDeleteSan Francisco and its freezing as usual. In 2 weeks we are moving to New England and I cant wait to enjoy the hot and humid summer (and then beautiful Fall)!
ReplyDeleteI love that there is such a mix of people here, it feels like one big amazing community all brought together by you - I’m in awe that can read something you posted about Toby and smile at it or coo over some of the lovely things you give away and someone half way around the world is doing the exact same thing. I can’t imagine what that’s like for you, you should be so proud. Thank you for connecting me - however briefly - with all these amazing woman. Wow.
ReplyDeleteI'm from Scotland, I think we had our summer in April, it’s kind of the way you would imagine Scotland to be in the summer now. Although I just watched the news and it said on Friday that it might get to 21 degrees in some places, that’s pretty much a heat wave. I hope it stays nice because I’m going away for a week up to the very furthest north west corner of Scotland, it’s pretty remote, no phone signal, no tv, no internet it's so peaceful and... breathable (does that make sense?)It’s my most favourite place in the world and I love it always but its infinitely better when it’s nice weather!
http://www.kinlochbervie.info/
I live in Portugal and finally this week the weather is amazing. Last week was horrible with thunderstorms and rain :/
