Land's End Canvas

For the past year, I've been wearing a steady uniform of boring tees and jeans, so I'm searching valiantly for some prettier summer clothes. Yesterday I came across Land's End Canvas, which has such adorable things! (Who knew?)

I'm excited to try them out; the dresses and skirts would be perfect for picnics and dinner dates. What will you be wearing this spring and summer? xo

Lands' End Canvas and LL Bean Signature are two of my favorites. They sometimes have awesome deals at the end of the season :)

My summer uniform is a lightweight sundress and my trusty Frye booties OR one of my husband's old button-downs, cut-off jean shorts and Chuck Taylor hi-tops. I would love to add that striped tee dress to the mix. xo.

Is this another entity of Lands End? Another blog had a post about it today too. Makes me excited about summer! Jennifer

Way to go Land's End! I'm also planning on checking out LL Bean's Signature line for summer staples (similar sort of deal to Land's End).

Love their stuff! I already have a small collection, as I discovered them in the fall. Only bummer is at my height (5'8")- and age! (45) - I find their hemlines to be Quite short!!! Though I think I'll give that striped number a try...

I LOVE these! Have you seen L.L. Bean Signature? Similar nautical look, and a little more polished than their standard brand.

Discovered their site last year- posted about it here!

working in an office means dress pants and button-downs for most of my coworkers, but I've gotten so bored with it that I'm trying to wear more skirts and blouses. Still office appropriate, but more weather friendly and it's fun to mix up my separates. :)

i'm in the love with the flowy flower-y skirts and maxi dresses that are at H&M. they range in $10-20 a piece. perfect for casual wear and my wallet.

I love their stuff!!

Joanna - funny - I was on their website this morning! I love their mens shirts, they make a really great oxford that I wear all the time. I have a canvas moto jacket from their fall line that I probably overwear too.

I have been loving Land's End stuff this year! So many cute neutrals and stuff that is dressy enough for work too.

i love all of these outfits, too!

Gap! I usually don't shop there often, but holy cow they have some really cute spring/summer clothes. Ah, I lust.

Land's End canvas is great! A lot of their styles remind me of a more affordable version of JCrew.

I discovered Land's End Canvas last spring. Now all my bikinis are from there.

Am I've been stalking the madras mini. When the price drops below $50, I'm snapping it up.

Miss Becca said...

Joanna, I went looking for the moto jacket and it is nowhere to be found. I pulled this number off the tag (391674) hoping that it was a pice number that might generate a photo, but no luck. Maybe it will come back in the fall again.

Love them! I just order a bunch of their sale stuff and a dress last week. FYI, they seem to run a little big. I'm returning a few things to order a size down, but their returns are super easy.

And get this - they sent me a handwritten thank you note! It was adorable.

What? Who knew there stuff was so cute and affordable. It's kind of like how LL Bean has their signature sight that has completely the cutest clothes.

Those of us in the midwest without access to H&M, Zara, and other coastal staples have learned to appreciate brands like LL Bean, Land's End and Eddie Bauer for cheaper quality pieces in our wardrobes! I think they pay more attention to creating trendy pieces that are at the same time timeless, meaning something I buy this year will probably still be in my closet in 2014. (Also, my mother loves Eddie Bauer, and if I time it right she doesn't mind buying me little presents now and then!)

I want ALL of their skirts and dresses.

iris said...

Oh, yes. I fell for Lands End Canvas long ago. Their t-shirts are great grabs during a sale!

Also, have you seen LL Bean Signature? It's a similar take from another rather conservative clothing line.

Eme said...

The same thing happened with my blog; the post I wrote yesterday was deleted...i wonder if it had anything to do with today being friday 13th :)

Eme said...

oh, and I love the first one, blue with white stripes. Wouldn't mund having one in my closet!

Deanna (Silly Goose Farm) said...

I'll second Iris' comments. I buy A LOT of clothing from Canvas, as well as LL Bean Signature. Bonus - when you buy clothes online from Canvas, a customer-service rep sends a hand-written Thank You note!

I grew up in Land's End clothes--we lived near an outlet--and they last forever. I'm so glad to see some cute, classic items out now with the same quality. I'll have to look at their spring line!

Definitely my favorite staple is boarder shirts - I love stripes and I can't count how many tops I have in my closet. I really love the sailor dress... Perfect for summer:)

Oooh such pretty clothes! love the cute belts around the dresses, they're the kind of dress I just know I'd wear over and over again :)

Love these! They are very J Crew like, no?
By June 1st I plan on only wearing dresses...So feminine and easy to get ready in the morning, no coordinating required!

Thanks for this post. I've never heard of Land's End Canvas, just regular Land's End which can be pretty old fashioned for my taste, but the Canvas stuff is super cute!

I love the grellow flats on the model in the chambray skirt.. I think I'll go down to Land Ends today and try to snag them :) I also love the striped dress - you'd look especially adorable in it, Joanna!

I second the comment on Lands End and quality. Their clothes are well made and wear very well. I was thrilled to see a fresher take when they launched Canvass.

Liz said...

Oh no, I think the blogger malfunction ate my comment! So I will say it again: I ordered a bunch of stuff from them last week and they sent me a handwritten thank you note in the mail a few days after I received my order. It was kind of weird, but really nice!

Stephanie said...

I stumbled upon them last year and love their stuff! They have great classic pieces for a very reasonable price. :) Their swim wear is cute too!

madilla said...

My sister bought a similar striped one here in Budapest (unfortunately we don't have lands end). I will send this to her as inspiration. She was a bit unsure how to style it.

Aubrey said...

I blogged about Canvas a while back and tell everyone I know about them! Such cute stuff with such reasonable prices - love it! :)

I work for Lands' End and not to plug the company or anything but Lands' End Canvas is amazing! I am 25 so the orginal LE is not exactly for me but Canvas is awesome! Once and awhile they discount a bunch of items for a week called 'The Classifieds', so make sure to check for those!

I love the clothes, but I am incredibly disappointed that they don't carry larger sizes. Really sick of it.

love it! andrew got a shirt from the catalog this winter and i'm very tempted to try some of their summer stuff - so reasonable too!

I've been obsessed with Canvas for the past year and a half - they are wonderful! And I love that they're not crazy-expensive. I hope to buy some more dresses for this summer, as they are more forgiving than shorts. Just nabbed an awesome white eyelet one from WE in Amsterdam & can't wait for the weather to warm up so I can wear it!

Love that outfit with the chambray skirt and chartreuse flats! I'd probably opt for sunglasses instead of that particular hat though (or a different hat, I suppose).
