My darlings, what are you doing this week? We're heading to San Francisco right now! (Fingers tightly crossed that Toby sleeps on the plane.) I can't wait to see my sister, and we made dinner reservations here, here and here. (Thanks again for your tips!) Next week, I am happy to have five great guest posters. Meanwhile, have a wonderful weekend, and see you soon! These passive-aggressive wedding notes made me laugh.

Dear Joanna,
ReplyDeleteI love that your blog is getting more and more "real". I love your motherhood posts. While I do enjoy all the fun things you share with us, the personal posts and hearing your views on things is wonderful. Thank you for standing up for gay marriage. This especially moved me today after I came across a young couple's blog who are traveling the world and photographing weddings and discriminating against gay people. I thought young people were getting less ignorant and it makes me so sad that I saw that. Thank you for posting that wonderful quote and as always brigtening my day.
love,
Tracy
I'm sure you already have these on your list, but just in case:
ReplyDeleteAmazing breakfast: Brenda's French soul food on Polk St.
Awesome coffee: fourbarrel on Valencia or Hooker's on Hyde.
Just plain awesome: Tartine (on the corner by Delifna)
Awesome beach: Baker Beach.
Awesome view Bernal Hill.
Happy travels!
