The beautiful Susan Cernek in a blue shirt with ripped jeans and sky-high heels. She gets it right every time.
This gorgeous room makes me want to get brighter lightbulbs and more plants for our apartment.
How genius is this? I have an elevator phobia, but I'd at least press the button for this one (and then take the stairs.)(Photo credits unknown, anyone know? Third image via The Bean and the Bear)

oh this elevator trick is cool!!
ReplyDeleteHow funny... I have an old roommate who had an elevator phobia. I understand!

and i know, susan has the most amazing style. she looks incredible always!
ReplyDeletebest part about this post: revealing "elevator phobia" - I have the same thing! Stairs win every time. Although, a double stroller is forcing me to reconsider. hah, happy to know I'm not alone.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, that elevator is hilarous!! A friend of mine had something sort of similar but the painting was over her light switch and the switch was...well strategically placed by his naughty place...
ReplyDeletePink Chinchilla
I love that elevator print!
ReplyDeleteThat last picture is pretty funny. I love the high ceilings and detail in the 2nd picture.

These are all great! As usual. I especially love the elevator ones. xoxo.
ReplyDeletethe old, slow, creeky elevators are the worst -- just looking at them makes me nervous.
ReplyDeletebtw, love the outfit post. clearly i need a chambray shirt so i can rock this outfit all spring. so chic and timeless.
I can't get over michelangelo's artwork and the elevator. Absolutely perfect!!!
ReplyDeleteThe only time I get scared in an elevator, is when it's surrounded by glass walls and you can see exactly how far you're going up... really then, that's being scared of heights I guess. Maybe not the same :)
That room is beautiful! And that elevator is amazing, never seen anything like that before!!!

I absolutely love that open, well-lit, room!! The other things....I shall keep my comments to myself, as my grandmother always said 'if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all!'...*tick-a-lock* LOL
ReplyDeleteLove Love Love Susan's Jeans and pumps... Where does this woman shop?
ReplyDeleteI've seen the first two all over Tumblr but I have no idea where they're from. Both are gorgeous though!

ReplyDeletehttp://girlynote.blogspot.com/
Ha! I love the mural and of course I love that beautiful room!
ReplyDeleteI love that elevator art! I once got stuck in a tiny elevator in Seville for about 2 minutes and it was horrible! I'm not even claustrophobic, but my friend started laughing hysterically and I found myself screaming at her to stop because she was using up all the oxygen. Hilarious in retrospect.
ReplyDeletehttp://nomadic-d.blogspot.com/
Susan reminds me of Sloan from Ferris Bueller in this pic.
ReplyDeletenomadic d, that is so scary! my friend got stuck in an elevator in Madrid for EIGHT hours -- and he and his friend tried to pry it open, but there was a BRICK WALL on the other side! AHHHH!!!!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely loving the last one! How clever!!!

i LOVE the celing in that room and what a neat elevator idea!

Love all three photos.. but that elevator shot is hysterical & awesome!! Thanks for sharing!

That parquet flooring is Beautiful! It reminds me of the classic apartments in France. Speaking of France: you'd find the elevators (particularly in that classy kind of apartment buildings) horrible! Tiny and antique!! (but wouldn't such a beautiful home be worth carrying your baby up a gazillion steps?)
ReplyDeleteHaha. That elevator painting is awesome.
ReplyDeleteso beautiful! that room is so amazing.
ReplyDeletewow. these really are beautiful
ReplyDeletehttp://missmollyfashions.blogspot.com/
dang, that gal brought it with her blue outfit.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful stamp! That would have been great when I was sending out all of my wedding invites.
ReplyDeleteOh I SO wish that brighter light bulbs could mimic that glorious natural light, I would put them in every room. But so far I'm realizing that nothing can replace having lots of big, lovely windows like that. In our next house that will be my number one criteria.
ReplyDeleteI'm dying over the molding on that ceiling. Gorgeous! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHaha that's awesome!
ReplyDeletehahah. i love that elevator painting! clever!
ReplyDeleteand YES to the crown moldings!! LUVVVV and DIEE :)
http://albeitdotdotdot.blogspot.com/
em, you're totally right. i wish, too!
ReplyDeleteamazing! Love this!
ReplyDeleteelevators don't make me as nervous as the people who ride them.
ReplyDeleteOh that first outfit...love love love.
ReplyDeleteJust did a post about new spring decorating...Would love for you to stop by!
I love all three of these very pretty things. I'm pretty sure I'm going to copy that first outfit! ha ha
ReplyDeleteAnd if I ever see this Elevator I'm definitely getting a pic. Very cool!
I love those french doors opening up to the bedroom. It just looks so open and inviting!
ReplyDeleteLove blue on blue!!
ReplyDeletewww.inloveiwascreated.blogspot.com
I kinda scared to be in a elevator myself.
ReplyDeletemy sweets, here are the answers from susan, about her beautiful clothes:
ReplyDelete"the shoes are Christian Louboutin (blue velvet! couldn’t resist), the button-down is Uniqlo and the jeans are one of my favorite purchases & shopping experiences ever: 50-euro jeans from a Paris H&M. I saw them in the window the morning I landed and zoomed back the next day, only to find the LAST pair in my size. They are magic."
xoxo
Dang it, I have been on the hunt for some blue velvet or suede pumps... time to hunt or start saving.
ReplyDeleteshe is so effortlessly put together, i am envious!
ReplyDeleteOMG - I hate elevators too! I was in one that fell (granted, only half a floor & it caught itself), so I'm forever scarred from the experience.
ReplyDeleteOh, & Ms. Cernek looks amazing. Think I'm headed to H&M tomorrow...
ReplyDeleteLooove that room with the gorgeous high ceilings!!
ReplyDeleteLove the elevator art!
ReplyDeletei believe the elevator pictures are from a plastic surgery clinic's (bk dong yang plastic surgery clinic?) in seoul, korea. take the lift and you'll be born again into a 'new' person. i think they won an award for this as well. :)
ReplyDeleteClever!
