How pretty are these heidi braids from the Rachel Roy fall 2011 show? Refinery 29 just did a great tutorial. (And it would be cute with the new heart scarf from ban.do.)P.S. More pretty hair!

ReplyDeleteWhoa! $95 for a scarf?! That's way out of my budget. Its very pretty, but I much prefer the hunt for vintage Vera scarves. I found one for .50 cents one time at a vintage by the pound store here in SF! Others I've found on etsy average around $30.
ReplyDeleteI wish my hair was long enough already for all these cute ideas! Grow hair, grow!
I used to wear this style all the time when I was younger!!! It is so chic!!! LOVE the photos!!

ReplyDeletegood tip, stephanie, thank you!!
ReplyDeleteBraids are such a simple way to make the hair look "done", I don't have very long hair so I just tie the braids back in a ballerina knot.
ReplyDeletesooo cute! do you have any suggestions for those of us with really thick hair?
ReplyDeleteI know lots of 13 year olds who would LOVE this look, thx
ReplyDeleteI remember asking my mom to braid my hair like this when I was about six because my babysitter always braided fabric into her hair. Everything always comes back!
ReplyDeleteI've never had a long hair to do these kind of hair-artworks, but all your hair tutorials and hair posts in general make me want to grow my hair really really long.. and while waiting I'm still going to get inspired by your cute hair posts :) have a nice weekend!
ReplyDeleteI love this, I've been meaning to start wearing fabric in my hair, I love that look.

GASP!
ReplyDeleteYou know what I'm going to have to do now? I'm taking out my mama's old scarves that I've saved from years ago and I'm going to do my very best at working one or two into a braid in my hair. And you also know what? I'm going to put on a sassy little dress and be decked out in both for a picnic my husband and I are having (in a field of wildflowers!) to celebrate our wedding anniversary this coming week. Perfect! Thank you for sharing this...
So beautiful !!
