Thumbs up! Very cute and comfortable.
I love maxi skirts! I say thumbs up. :)
yes! two thumbs up! i love maxi skirts and dresses. there's something about having a long hem swishing about my ankles that makes me feel ever-so ladylike. love the green!
I would say thumbs down... It is not very flattering. The word thunder thighs comes to mind, and that model is stick thin! That said, I am not one to take fashion risks :o)
i loved this skirt when i saw it and i would totally wear it.
I would wear them if I were taller!
Well I do like the idea of them, but I do think it can look frumpy. To me this model looks like she raided her grams closet kinda!
haha, yes, i hear you about the shape of the skirt -- "bubble" is a hard one to pull off! still, i love it... :)
Big thumbs up from me! I love maxi skirts and dresses all year round: woolen ones with chunky boots in the winter and more sheer ones in the summer. Loving the 1970's trends this spring :)
I love them. Thumbs WAY up! I also love pleated skirts which are also in this season :)http://la-lalinh.blogspot.com
looks great on her, but I could never pull it off.
I adore the look of maxi skirts on others but fear my hips are too large to pull it off without looking balloon like...
Huge thumbs up! They're so easy to wear and as a short gal, I can throw on a pair of heels or wedges under it and immediately feel statuesque. Ok - feel average height.
thumbs way down. part of what makes the maxi dress work is that it's often one pattern, the whole way...this just looks awkward, like Hammer pants, but without the legs.
i am DEFINITELY loving the longer lengths this season.
I love the look, but def can't pull it off with my behind! :)
Thumbs up if you're tall enough. I love it :)
I'll pass. While I like the way it looks on some folks, my legs are way too short to pull this look off. :-P
Thumbs up! I totally love it and it is way cool.Sarah
I love Maxi Skirts! just not for myself, I'm really short, so it would just stunt me! xowww.nydontleaveme.com
joanna i just saw a bunch of maxi skirts in paris recently, so i'm pretty sure that means they're way cool! i personally would need a huge wedge to pull it off, as i am not a model a.k.a giant!the green one is super cute
Do Do Do... wish I could find some that are my length! finally a trend that suits long legs and they still make them too short haha
I wish I could pull this off!Unfortunately...1) Bubble shape for my body type is a no-no2) I am a CLUMSY girl! Anything billowy to trip on, my feet will find ;)Love that green skirt though - you will look totally adorb!
I shrunk one of my maxi dresses and this summer I've been more than happy to wear it as a skirt! I have to be careful to layer whatever shirt I'm wearing carefully, but it's so soft and comfortable.... plus I don't have to shave my legs! Haha!<3 MuffinLovesBiscuit
thumbs down! maxi skirts always make me think whoever is wearing one is a gypsy fortune teller at a carnival. plus, the word "maxi skirt" reminds me of "maxi pad."
BIG thumbs up!! I love maxi skirts and dresses!! An easy "go-to" piece for the closet! great pick!!www.mrscapretta.comFashion, Recipes, Marriage
BIG thumbs up - i love them. comfy, cute, casual.
maybe i would wear it. with heels.but i think it's better to chose a style that lies flat around your hip, otherwise i'm quite sure it's note very flattering. (unless you, maybe, accentuate your waist.)agnes, hungary:)
Do!!! They are so comfy and kid-friendly (i.e.crouching down no knickers flashing).
Up! I'm going to Italy soon, and a breezy, versatile maxi skirt for walking around and sight-seeing while looking cute and casual is one of my main packing priorities!
definitely two thumbs up. I love this green one, too ... the stripes are fun.nataliemack.blogspot.com
For me it's a do. but since i'm only 5'2, I go for a slim not too full cut so I don't look like I'm swallowed in it !
I'm too short and wide for them.. but they're super cute!
Thumbs WAY down. I'm all for maxi skirts but I get a Charlie Brown vibe from this one. Just not feelin it.
It's a love hate relationship: I love 'em, but alas, I am a petite woman and they do not love me :(
This maxi skirt, I don't care for. The bubble hem is bizarre, and I don't care for horizontal stripe skirts. That being said, I do own a maxi skirt -it's a very light, sort of bell-shaped skirt that is a khaki color with a little bit of embroidered white eyelet stitching along the bottom. I like wearing it with a close-fitting tee or razor-back tank in the summertime. I think it gives the billowy nature of the skirt a little balance.
I actually adore this look. I saw some pictures from the Sartorialist with long pale skirts and I loved it! I've been seeing it everywhere now. The Cheeky Cafe
The dresses aren't too bad, but maxi skirts remind me of Hammer pants, too...they look like billowy sweat pants. I think if this outfit wasn't on a tall and slender model, it would easily make the fashion "don't" page.
DO! Thumbs up all the way!Just a Silhouette
Two Thumbs Up - maybe not for this particular skirt just because I think the green is too dark for spring/summer. But I love Maxi Dresses/Skirts in general. I'm trying to find a couple of more chiffon-type ones. There were some featured on the Sartorialist a couple weeks ago that were GORGEOUS!
It's a love-hate relationship. But I am particularly in love with Free People's Wrapped In Pleats Maxi Skirt in tea: http://www.freepeople.com/clothes-skirts/wrapped-in-pleats-maxi-skirt/productOptionIDS/12B8C951-1A20-4EE1-BF90-10C3E51E5A64/
everyone is about these maxi skirts but i cant say i am a huge fan. I have yet to find one that looks great and is not frumpy looking.
thumbs up! if you're tall enough, otherwise you might get lost in there!
Celia asked this same question! http://lifeaccordingtocelia.blogspot.com/2011/03/happy-monday-and-happy-spring.htmlI think I'd like it better as a mini skirt. Or as a maxi dress. xo.
I think it's a pretty look if you can pull it off (read: tall) but I still can't escape the feeling that this is something we will all look back on someday, much like crop tops or prince valliant haircuts, and shake our heads about.
thumbs down for me...too short, I think I might get lost in one. but great if you're a taller lady. :)
yeah thumbs down for me to. I try.... but they just look weird on me. they recently did a maxi challenge at Everybody Everywear (http://www.everybodyeverywear.com/challenges/view/maxi) and everyone looked cute! I MIGHT try this trend if a friend let's me borrow a skirt/dress... but I'm not spending my hard earned cash on one.
I have a great black maxi skirt I found in a shop in Paris. I agree with some of the ladies, you either need to be tall (which I'm not) or wear wedges or tall booties. I also like to throw a loose, slightly cropped shirt on top so it makes my legs look longer...
I think it depends on the body type, I'm really short and curvy and a long skirt would only shorten me and make me look bulky
No Way! Thumbs down! You have to be stick thin to pull it off. Not so much the dresses, but the skirts, for sure.
Do it, do it, do it! Maxi skirts feel both fun and elegant swishing around. I'm a short woman so my maxi skirt is high-waisted and is perfect for me.
Well, I already wore them the first two times (1970s, early 90s). I wouldn't wear this horizontal stripe one but yes, I'll probably wear again. But people, check out the mirror honestly before you go out. Yikes. There are some pretty long dresses that are nice...I think they're easier to wear because they form one sleek line. Just a thought.
I would like them if I were taller. But, being that I'm 5'2"... I think I would look preeetty ridiculous. : (
I think it depends on your body shape. A couple years ago, I was under the delusion that maxi dresses looked good on me so I bought a couple. It took a few months for me to realize they just made me look chunky.
a definite yes. lets you hide the winter weight if you haven't rid of it yet, hehehe. and if you're short (like me) it's always a must to have some sort of heel or a wedge though, it gives you a couple inches AND it's stylish :)
I love maxi skirts although the don't really fit me because I'm only 5'2, unless I wear super high heels! xx,Ale.http://leblogdeale.blogspot.com
ive been contemplating buying this one for ages now, love it =)
Great question. Wish I could say I'm all about it but I could never pull it off.
I was there the 1st time around. I don't have the shape for them anymore, but I love the changing styles and am happy to watch you young, slim things run around in them.
I'm embracing it, yeah! I've always been one to say "the shorter the better" when it comes to skirts, but I really love the comfort and beauty of a nice, super long extra flowy maxi!togetherinadream.blogspot.com
Up, definitely up. =D I'm 5'4" and thought that I would totally look like a kid wearing mom's dress, but I tried on my first maxi dress last year and fell in love with it. I think it also depends on the color and weight of the fabric too.
Thumbs down. I'm too tiny to wear that kind of skirts. I look like a mushroom when wearing them.
I think maxidresses are fine, but the skirts sometimes extenuate all the areas I want hidden! This color is really pretty though, and I like it with a plain white tee. The model in this picture sure can pull it off!
I love it on her, but don't think I could pull that off.
I like them, but worry about the risk of standing up while having my foot on the hem and baring all!!
i'm 5'2 and very thin - way too small for a maxi skirt!
Yes! Long flowy skirts are beautiful! But not this one, sorry. Someone hit the nail on the head who said Charlie Brown vibe to it.
Yes! Love them!
Thumbs up! They come in so many different variations, why not?!http://basiikblog.blogspot.com
you know, i didn't like the trend at first, but like most things (skinny jeans, denim shirts) it's really growing on me and I think I'll be sporting a bunch of them this summer. so easy breezy. you're my fave blogger, btw. xo.
What's not to love? You don't have to shave your legs and they are cool, comfortable, and can be dressy or casual. Maxi skirts are tres awesome! Maxi awesome? I'm sure there is a special catchphrase that could go with that!
Thumbs way up! Funny you posted this... I spent an hour on Etsy & Ebay last night searching ''maxi skirt!'':)
thumbs down...never. not for me, anyways!
I love them! But at 5'2, they just don't work on me. I actually bought a maxi dress on sale at anthropologie last week and walked right from that store to the tailors, who turned it into a cute mini(ish) dress!
I am also very short, but I'm not going to let this intimidate me from wearing a maxi skirt. With the right fit and shoes, anyone can look super cute in these!
if i had no thighs... i'd say thumbs up. but as of yet in my experience with the woman form- thumbs down. :[
I say thumbs down... I hate these things They make you look frumpy...I'm thinking these are 2011's MC Hammer pants...and if that model can't pull it off, I'm sure not going to try...
I'm patiently awaiting the end of maxi skirts/dresses and absurd platform shoes.Thumbs down.
darling on others, but wrong for me. It would have be just right, and I haven't found one yet!
Mostly thumbs down. It reminds me of being in junior high (late 90s) especially with so many girls wearing them with birkenstocks or clogs. It's just too frumpy. One instance that I thought was successful though, was Kendi's take of KendiEveryday: http://kendieveryday.blogspot.com/2011/04/do-you-ebew.html
They look good on the very tall, or the very slim...but otherwise I think they're tent-like.
Thumbs up to the maxi and the £30 price tag!
Thumbs down! They look like mc hammer pants!
good points here, and bethany, i love that look!
aw, anda, thank you!
My rule of thumb is that if something doesn't look good on a model, it REALLY won't look good on me.
I love them! I have a long torso and a tiny waist (with a thin/muscular bottom) and they, surprisingly, suit my figure. I have to say, the taller you are, the better they look. But I absolutely love them with a slouchy tank and flat bohemian sandals.
i say DOUBLE THUMBS up!! haha.. and YES, it's a good way of covering those un-shaved legs!
I LOVE the maxi skirts and dresses. For some reason, I feel sexier when I wear more. Maxi skirts are a definite do in my wardrobe for spring.XO Hilary Nicolehttp://www.thehippinista.blogspot.com/
Love!! But I feel you have to be tall and thin or it's extremely frumpy.
Triple thumbs up! I love that the maxi is coming back. They're so elegant and lovely. And for us short girls, it gives the illusion we have some legs and height.
I don't like it :(http://girlynote.blogspot.com
I love me a maxi skirt, reminds me of my patch work skirt days in the 90s. You just have to be wear of shape and shoe choice. :)
Definitely a do! I love Maxi Skirts and dresses!
Hi! lovely post :)nice blog!! i follow you now!Would you come in mine and follow me?i'd be very happy!XOXOhttp://kassandra-beinstyle.blogspot.com/
yes to maxi, mini and midi! I'm an equal opportunist when it comes to skirt lengths. I just thrifted a gorgeous pink silk maxi that I can't wait to style and I'm wearing a midi today!
DO - And I'll have a bunch for sale in my online vintage shop that open next month!
YES! for others but not for my shape! I have too big hips for them but i adore them on others!
Thumbs down to all maxi everything: skirts, dresses, and pads. I think the maxi look is borderline frumpy, and makes me think of the Olsen twins. For some reason I feel very strongly about this???
I think they look super comfy, although I'm not sure about what they do to "flatter" ones figure. I think it one of those trends i'll eventually get use to and love though.
love them on other people! i'd wear this one for sure, it's so cute!!
I'm wearing a Kelly green one right now that I bought at Zara today at lunch time! So floaty and lovely with flat shoes - I feel very elegant in it. My only rule is that my waist has to be defined and with a top tucked in. Oh, but I'll try to avoid escalators when wearing one from now on - you feel like your skirt is going to get sucked into the machinery any second.
I will be sporting maxi dresses, and sometimes styling them so they look like skirts, for most of the summer. I just had knee surgery and will be wearing a lovely knee brace all summer. With the long skirts/ dresses I can camouflage my brace and look stylish as well. Win/Win!
Thumbs down. Even back in my day, the 60's and 70's when maxi skirts were on the racks in the stores they just weren't a length that I thought was attractive to wear, and they made it difficult to get into and out of a vehicle and always looked wrinkled from either sitting on them or knobby knees making humps in the knee area. Nope, have to say from experience that I give them a thumbs down.Di
love this look in pictures but not for me. just thinking about them makes me remember being all twisted up in my nightgown as a little girl :)
Thumbs up only if the bottom was flare...I'm naturally a bubble on the bottom...no need to accentuate the problem!
NY magazine had an interesting article this week on the price of cotton relating it to 'hemline theory'. The longer the length of hemlines signals economic prosperity, due obviously to the extra need for fabric. I had never heard of this until I read about it but very interesting with the longer skirt trend this spring.
looks super comfy and cute on a skinny model's body, but with my regular girl figure and average height, it's a big NO
yes! definite. i need to invest! i have 2 maxi dresses but no skirts. im looking!www.wotsworthwhile.blogspot.com
I'm wearing a maxi skirt today. Black to the floor. Straight cut. Super comfy and looks pretty sweet paired with a light tank & jean jacket! Think the trick is to find one that fits your body shape but I LOVE your reco. Too bad, I too wouldn't look right in it. Gorgeous none the less.
definitely a thumbs up!
I love this skirt. But I can't decide if it will elongate or shorten my already short stature...hm must try one on and find out!
Thumbs up! I've got two, in peach and green and I feel very good wearing them.
While I love the maxi dress, I have not yet embraced the skirt yet. I am thinking of a long flowy style, but some of them just give me bad flashbacks of the early 90's.
I saw someone wearing a short sleeve black rocker tshirt with a chiffon floral long skirt~~ It looked awesome~wish i took a photo of the outfit.
I love them, but you have to be careful so you don't come out looking frumpy and awkward. I personally don't like the way this green skirt looks on that model, but I love how maxi skirts look on these ladies.
thumbs up for sure! maxi dress or maxi skirt- I saw thumbs up! :)
Absolutely I would. I'm six feet tall, so it's nice to have a long skirt every now and again :)
I love maxi skirts and dresses but I look ridiculous because I'm only 5' tall. I always look like I'm playing dress up lol
YES! I think they're very feminine & elegant. I just bought a full skirt dress that is the same length as the skirt in the photo. It's blaring coral pink & 3/4 length sleeves, gathered at the waist. I feel like a modern Maria VonTrapp.
DO!This green striped skirt is especially great!
thumbs up! i love the maxi dresses so the skirt is the next obvious move. comfort always wins for me!
haha! those are terrible! thumbs down .. sorry :( lol
I wish I could, but 'hippie' always comes to mind. Plus, as tall as I am, I'd feel like I was wearing a tent!
Thumbs up! If only I could find one long enough! Im not even that tall but have long legs and they all hit above my ankle in the most awkward spot. Not cute! If you see one that is ridiculously long, ladies, help a girl out!
I say thumbs down, but only because it would make me look bigger than I already am. But to those ladies that can pull it off, I'd say thumbs up!
They look great on tall, slender women but I'm 5'4 and curvy so there are much more flattering looks for me.
I love maxi skirts! They're super comfy and I think are girlier than pants. Gypsy/Hippie skirts, long pencil skirts, love them all! Besos
Another maxi dress done right: http://atlantic-pacific.blogspot.com/2011/04/watercolors.html.
I would say thumbs down, even though I love my loose dresses. This does remind me of MC Hammertime. The skirt just swallows up the model. And if you have a problem area at the waist, it's going to accent it.That said, I do like the color a lot. But it's more of a fall color than a summer color.
if i had long legs, yes, but maxi skirts would look terrible on me I think. I have seen a few that I love though, but for other people. I think that green skirt would be so cute if it was shorter, perhaps to the knee or to midcalf?
There a BIG Thumbs up! Wear it with a gladiator sandal or a wedge. Crop top and sunglasses will help complete the look. Nordstroms has some amazing ones by Stem, Splendid and ella moss that are very affordable at great prices!
like so much maxi dresses and skirts and especially jersey, but my body is like jlo's. no pretty..http://anmarkdesign.blogspot.com/
no, for me, my body shape. just, no.
My college roommate wore them all the time and she looked so beautiful in them...I'm tempted to try but I can't find one I like.
LOVE LOVE LOVE.
Yes definitely!! They're so comfortable and beautiful. And they look gorgeous as you walk through the wind!!
Thumbs up!!!! Most definitely.
Don't own any maxi's yet but after seeing this super green and black I'll be heading to the shops tomorrow! Couch a great summer look! Lori X
Total thumbs up! Love, love maxi skirts. And the green with stripes is like an added bonus! So cute.
Definitely a thumbs up! I loveee maxi dresses and skirts. so comfortable.
I have to say thumbs down all the way. Not to brag, but I have great legs! Why would I want to hide them??
I am loving maxi skirts - they are so comfortable and still super cute!Much love,B
hmm not feeling it, kind of parachutey. . . but hey you make the clothes not the other way around so rock it!
yup, even short girls like me can rock maxi skirts and I loooove them! they've gotta be kinda high-waisted though. and here's the other trick (at least for short girls)...the skirt HAS to come to the floor. it's way more flattering than when it stops at your ankles.
I'm with nzle above: my legs are my best feature so a big no for me. I'll be adding to my collection of city shorts and minis this summer!
gotta love the maxi skirts...
i'm not the biggest fan in the world; it can get a little too MKO bag lady for my taste. but then again, MKO bag lady isn't always bad thing, is it?
I don't usually like long skirts, but I love this trend. I think they are so chic! In fact, I will be doing some shopping this weekend and have a maxi skirt or two on the top of my list!
Thumps down definitely...sorry Joanna :(...but i just don't like maxi skirts or dresses. I seen them on so many different many woman and even thought about it myself. But the look is just not flattering at all.
I love maxi skirts soo I think its a do! xoxo asiahlynn
sorry - down - not flattering!
Thumbs up! So chic.
diana,i think the same thing! the word maxi makes me shy away in and of itself. also, i've probably seen one person in my LIFE that i thought looked good in a maxi dress. and that's dress, not skirt. i really don't like the way they look on anyone.
I think the look can go either way, it all depends on how you wear it and pair it with other pieces. I am 5'5", so on me I always feel frumpy unless I wear heels with long skirts. The Anthropologie models always make long skirts look so chic!
Yes! Throw on and go! Super cute!
I am 5'2 and I still wear them! You just have to know how to wear them for each body type. I personally think they can look very romantic!
a total DO
Way up, with the right skirt for your bod. So pretty!
I LOVE maxi skirts, but skirt in that photo makes the woman look like a Glowworm. Or like the hookah smoking caterpillar from Alice in Wonderland. Or like an adult Anne Geddes photo. Not good. Not good at all.
i think they can be cute as long as they're not too tight or clingy. otherwise, they're just unflattering. also, i think it depends on how tall you are.
Thumbs down. If you can pull it off they're really pretty, but I don't think they look good on me.
double thumbs up!
this season i like the very fitted striped dresses from edith miller and others. being very slim or very fit is definitely necessary to pull this off. during one of the previous revivals, i embraced some very special maxi skirts. this was probably 12+ years ago. i still have a burberry one that was gorgeous (when they were an old, stodgy, heritage brand) and a mayle one a few years later. i just can't go there again myself!
Hmm- this model can pull it off, but it's a don't for me. I think it's only a trend for the very thin or those who can figure out the tucked shirt combo; although I love a good maxi dress!
i'm a HUGE fan! i just posted on my blog three ways to wear a maxi i just purchased at target for $9! check it out!http://alwaysamrsforeverakidd.blogspot.com
they are a doooo!!
TWO thumbs up :)
I like it and I think if it fits it can work on any shape! As long as it doesn't cling and is flowy it's beautiful!
I think Maxi Skirts are great! You don't have to worry about showing any "unmentionables" in them!
thumbs WAY up!! i love this trend. i think skirts are way cooler in the summer time than shorts. like that green stripey one. i've done a number of posts about maxi skirts on my blog too.xo
i NEED one asap!! its hard to find a maxi skirt that isnt too tightcheck out my new post! i think youll like ithttp://heelsandinspiration.blogspot.com
i love them but i do find them extremely hard to wear! tuck in or leave out? heals or flats? and the length always feels to awkward -- like it always feels too short! i wish!
I dont know. They certainly look good on all these petite and twig-like models and fashionistas.I think you have to have a very small frame to pull it off (or be very flat chested). Any other body type just makes it look like a horror show.
for me? thumbs down. some people can pull them off but i'm just way too short, at 4'10" i just shrink down to about two ft. i want to love the, i do. but we're so wrong together.
I never used to think they looked good until recently now I have several in different colours and patterns. They look so romantic and girlie. Thumbs up!
if you have curves i don't think this dress is for you. for myself, thumbs WAY down. for someone tall and thin, thumbs up!!<3
I'd say yes and no. I think it totally depends on the type of figure you have. I'm pretty short, so I don't think I could pull it off. It probably would look great on taller women though!www.melstevens1.blogspot.com
Unfortunately for me it's a don't, I'm 5'5, I would look short and stumpy :( To all the lucky girls who can pull it off, enjoy!!xo
They have a certain novelty that's appealing. I bought one last Fall and enjoy styling it in various ways.
thubs up, way up! Though I agree with Astrid - if you actually are tall, the skirts are always an inch or two shorter than you want them to be. =)
haha, sarah, i laughed out loud at your comment! love all this awesome and hilarious feedback.
ps. i ignored good sense and got a maxi skirt this afternoon at zara, eeps!
Love! As a short girl, the best advice that I have received on pulling off the "maxi" look is to make sure that the length hits at the ankle to prevent a stunted silhouette. I tried it out, and I believe that it works, don't try to talk me out of it!!
For some reason, I've never been a fan of Maxi's. I agree that they are not very flattering. Some people can pull them off, but unfortunately I am not one of them.
Maxi skirts are so comfy! I recently bought to maxi dresses. Can't wait to "estrenar" one of my dresses this weekend. Yay for maxi dresses!
Absolutely! Although I'm more of a maxi dress type o' gal :)http://instylation.blogspot.com/
Sooo thumbs up!!I just spent the last month traveling around Asia and as an extremely fair girl with brown hair and blue eyes from Canada I got a lot of people starring, because lets face it I kinda stood out! (People would even whip out cameras and phones as I walked by to snap a shot, take a video, and occasionally ask me to pose!) So I ended up wearing jeans as much as possible to hide my skin as a way to blend in. Not that it really fooled anyone but it made me feel a bit more comfortable with all the starring. I wish I had had a maxi skirt with me because it would have been so much more comfortable in the heat than the jeans I had with me. I now feel like a maxi skirt or dress is a must have in any wardrobe and will defiantly be picking on up this summer!!
Thumbs Up!I love the new one from H&M's Concious Collectionand so far, I think Jessie from the Concrete Catwalk has worn it best:http://www.theconcretecatwalk.com/2011/04/outfit-post-midi-skirt.html
Personally, I've yet to see a maxi skirt look good on anyone, models or otherwise. I find that the tea length is much more flattering.
I love them, but I am tall...
Honestly, I think it depends on the print and design! I think solid dark prints, and non bulky maxi skirts are a do! This one is cute on the model, but definitely a don't on me! http://justbreathe18.blogspot.com/
Hmmm, I´ve never been able to pull off the maxi skirt, but I so admire the people that can do that :) So, go for it girl if you love it :) xx Ivanahttp://styleinthecityen.blogspot.com
I love super long skirt. I'm 5'8" and wear heels with them so I have no worry about looking stumpy. What I like best is in today's world you can wear a mini one day and a maxi the next and it's all okay. When I was growing up back in the ancient 70s, there was only one skirt length per season so everyone was in the same thing, whether it looked good on you or not!
Thumbs down! on the Maxi skirts unless your 5'10 and above and really thin they don't really look that good on. Now the maxi dresses that are sleeveless with the sort of low cut front and tie around the neck are a better look for other body types.
Maxi skirts, yes! This particular one, no! The stripes are really unflattering, the fabric is far too heavy and the shape is wrong. Personally I'd look for one in silk or a light jersey that drapes your figure rather than encases it. x
I love the idea but don't think it would work for me as I'm too short!! Are you going to post a picture of you wearing your new maxi?
A big thumbs up for maxi skirts, I have about four on my wishlist at the moment! I think they're a really good staple for day/evening wear for the summer. You can really dress them up or down!
I'm wearing one right now! LOL!Thumbs up, especially if your legs are not "perfect".
Nice comments only, please! (That means you, anonymous.)
