Bill Cunningham documentary

Bill Cunningham is the street-style photographer for the New York Times. He's a hilarious, eccentric guy who rides his Schwinn bike around New York City (rain or shine) and captures fabulous people with his camera. Well, a documentary just came out about him. Here's the trailer. I can't wait to see it!

P.S. Movie times around the country, if you'd like to see it on the big screen.

So excited to see this movie! I have to wait until May to see it on the big screen here in Arizona but it will be worth it :) I love how he just cruises around on his bicycle.

P.S. I used to think Anna WIntour was incredibly scary but with all these documentaries coming out I feel like we are seeing a softer side of her!

I've been DYING to see this! Mr. Cunningham is how I start my weekend; every Saturday I watch the latest On the Street while eating breakfast. Sadly, I doubt the movie will ever make it to Sweden... Guess I'll have to Netflix it when I get home this summer!

This looks great. I didn't know him before this, but he looks like such a character. And if Anna thinks it's "death" for him not to photograph her, then he must be wonderful :) So happy to see it's playing in Scottsdale!

I met him once. It was at a fashion illustration opening at an art gallery. He took photographs of a friend and I.
I told him I had been following his work since I was a young and I thought he was amazing. He returned with I'm only amazing because of young looking people like you.
It was a highlight of my life to see our picture in the times later.

I can't wait to see the movie!

Thank you so much for sharing this! Being an Atlantan transplant to LA, I wasn't familiar with Bill Cunningham but I love photography, film and fashion. The more eclectic, the better! This gave me the opportunity to reconnect with a friend, a Canadian photographer. Although we didn't get to see it on our first try (disaster struck but we bonded over a bottle of wine afterwards!), we did get to see one of the last showings in LA. It was such a great film! We both felt so inspired - as artists and as people. Bill is so adorable! I do hope they bring it back to LA so I can recommend it! Thank you again!
