Looking for an office space

My darlings, does anyone know of an available desk at a shared workspace in downtown Manhattan? I've been going a little nutty working from home (and miss having co-workers), so I'm searching for an office to share with other freelancers. Instead of a place where a bunch of different people come and go (like Paragraph or In Good Company), I'm hoping to find a shared office in Manhattan where the same small group of creative people work everyday and have their own dedicated desks (like Swissmiss's great office in Brooklyn).

If you know of a shared workspace in Manhattan that might have an available desk, I would be THRILLED to hear (and very grateful to be considered)! Thank you SO much!!! hellojoannagoddard at gmail xoxo

Also, the wiki can be a great resource. http://wiki.coworking.info/w/page/16583629/CoworkingNewYorkCity

PS Don't you wish NYC had something like CAMPOmaha, the coworking spaced started by Megan Hunt, aka, Princess Lasertron? http://www.campcoworking.com/

Have you checked out Tech Space (http://www.techspace.com/)? My boyfriend works for a small mobile advertising agency and rents a space here. It is located right in Union Square and is the same space with a other small digital/new media companies like Pandora, as well as freelances. It may not be as intimate as you are looking for, but great location and there are lots of amenities. P.S. Love, love your work : )

  42. Hi Joanna,

I can put you in touch with the people who run New Work City if you like?

    You might enjoy Green Spaces:
    http://bit.ly/hS5quT (my personal preference).

A third location We Work New York is close by. They are each within 5 minutes of each other.

I can offer you contact info from people at all 3 locations (actual clients and/or service reps). But I recommend spending a day at each place and feeling it out. Green Spaces offers a complimentary pass for 1 day.

    Happy Searching,
    Parris
